The government of India abrogated Article 370 of the Indian constitution in 2019 to remove the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The move of the central government to scrap Article 370, article 35A etc to remove the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was challenged in the Supreme Court of India. In its unanimous verdict, the Supreme Court's five-judge bench upheld the abrogation of Article 370. This video explains the history behind the introduction of Article 370 and the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The constitutional side of Article 370 and its abrogation is explained in this video.

75 കൊല്ലം മുൻപ് ഇന്ത്യയേ ബാധിച്ച കാൻസർ ആരുന്നു ആർട്ടിക്കിൾ 370. ജനത്തിന്റെ നികുതി പണം മുഴുവൻ അവിടെ ശാന്തിയുണ്ടാക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി വിനിയോഗിച്ചു. ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് പട്ടാളക്കാർ ജീവൻ ബലി നൽകി.. ഏകദേശം ഒരു നൂറ്റാണ്ട് കാലമാണ് ഇന്ത്യക്ക് ഈ പ്രശ്നം നിലനിന്നത്. എത്ര സർക്കാരുകൾ ഇവിടെ ഭരിച്ചു, ആർക്കെങ്കിലും കഴിഞ്ഞോ കാശ്മീരിനെ law and order ഉള്ള സംസ്ഥാനമാക്കാൻ. ഇപ്പോളത്തെ കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ അത് അധ്വാനിച്ചു നേടിയെടുത്തു. ഒരു വെടി പോലും പൊട്ടിയില്ല. സുപ്രീം കോടതിയും അത് അംഗീകരിച്ചു. ഇത് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ വിജയമാണ്.
അവിടെയാണ് കേരള പത്രങ്ങൾ എഴുതുന്നത് കേന്ദ്രത്തിന് 'ആശ്വാസം "എന്ന്. എന്ത് ദയനീയമാണ്. കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റ ഭാര്യ വീട്ടിലെ കാര്യമല്ല അവർ ചെയ്തത്. 140 കോടി ജനത്തേ ഒന്നാക്കുന്ന കാര്യമാണ്. ചിലർക്ക് മാത്രം പ്രത്യേക അവകാശം വേണ്ട എന്നതാണ്. ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വരെ പിള്ളേർ ബൈക്കിൽ കാശ്മീരിൽ പോയി വരുന്നു. ഒരു പെൺകുട്ടി ഒറ്റക്ക് പോയി കാശ്മീരിൽ. ഇതൊക്കെ 10 കൊല്ലം മുൻപ് സാധിക്കുമാരുന്നോ??

The need for change in Constituent Assembly to Legislative Assembly is under ambiguity. The process of give back the statehood to Jammu & Kashmir is commendable that's through an election. The special observation made by the observant is giving a sense of backdoor movement in the process.
