    “So you came in this way and looking for a way out”. Matt doesn’t seem pleased that this guy took a Jeep onto MTN bike trails. I mean these trails are clearly single track in the video. Actions like this get the trails closed for everybody. Kudos for MORR getting that Jeep out with a minimum of trail damage.

      It’s tough when you get lost. I must say trail apps like OnX do help this. It’s easy to get in trouble even on a trail that is designed for vehicles, but it’s washed out or destroyed in a way where you have no options to get out easily.

    • @Rubiflake
      @Rubiflake 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +53

      Not making excuses for the Jeep owner, however, I live right near this area and two track and single track trails make up this area and some of them do crisscross. It's not too difficult to make a wrong turn and and up on the wrong trail that starts out wide and narrows quickly. Don't know if that's what happened here, just adding some first hand experience.

      @@Rubiflake I hear ya as I have done a lot of trails in UT but in the beginning when the customer wanted Matt to drive into the trailhead that had the dividers clearly there for single track only and Matt would not go that way was kind of a red flag for me of the Jeep driver.

I worked with glass for decades, been over to the U.S, (Washington) Belgium, Germany, Holland etc etc with Glass and glazing exhibitions. At my work handling huge sheets of glass and lots of laminated too, cutting the glass into all manner of shapes and sizes, my point being were I to drive that or any vehicle after a collision that has a laminated or broken windscreen I would definitely wear eye protection. Once A vehicle is in a crash there is a total change in the integrity of vehicles flexibility which could cause more stress to the broken screen and send shards often tiny, but enough to cause serious eye damage!

It was interesting seeing the Wrecker use three winches at the same time. Especially when you consider all the comments asking why the wrecker needed so many winches. Even if they never eventually used every winch - and there is plenty of time going forward for that to happen - it was worth mounting so many just so Matt could have the Wrecker's version of the Nuclear Football which can control all seven winches (is it seven?) remotely. I remember the remote was left on a back wheel during one recovery, and either got run over, or very nearly did. I wonder if the gang will ever finish the Wrecker?
