Let me take a moment to say how beautiful Belle’s journey has been and what an amazing and courageous young woman she is. I was waiting for this episode to drop and savoured every moment like a season finale. Not that I wanted to see Belle cry but in truth I cried buckets of tears along with Belle this whole session. I have watched the whole of Belle’s and Hayley’s series. Hayley deserves a medal all on her own. Both of these ladies have helped me to recognise in the space of just one week how harsh my inner critic is. I can hear my inner critic ‘ Sanctimonious Samantha’ and tell her to piss off when she states preaching about how things should be. It is going to be a journey full of tears for me but I have spent the best part 50 years trying to find validation and love when all along I could have given these gifts to myself. And of course, a big round of applause and thanks should go to the wonderful professionalism, dedication and empathetic empowering skills of Alex Howard. These therapy sessions are gold for someone who cannot afford therapy right now. I cannot thank you enough Alex for the help your sessions have provided to me. Peace love and hope to you all.
Liberation from self-blaming, the negative self-image (i.e. the unhelpful script) and unhealthy attachment! The insight that the nature of our relationships with others mirrors the relationship we have with ourself is so important - indeed, ESSENTIAL - if we are to become authentically happy and fulfilled. Great work, Belle ... and Alex, of course.
Belle is really working hard here. She deserves everything she wants in life. I loved the beginning where the penny dropped for her that she deserves to be happy and do things on her terms. I hope she maintains that outlook outside of the therapy.

My situation as well. It’s helped me a lot but it was a 25 yr marriage. I need to be for me. Carried it far too long.
Another excellent episode but I feel a lot of editing has gone on, cutting out vital parts, so it would fit into a short 30 min episode...
