This was very informative...thx. The camera looks like the cat's meow. We are a new church start. We have no building where we can leave everything setup, so being minimalistic is paramount. Also, we can't cable because of foot traffic. With that, we use a wireless cam over wifi with built-in mic, an iPhone, and a MacBook for streaming a Zoom meeting. The small black 1080p cam is positioned within 3-4 feet of the speaker on a monopod. The camera's app permits us to frame and drop images into windows. Lately, we've experienced a problem, however, with the camera's mic showing up in Zoom's dropdown menu for audio. Someday, I'd love to experiment with your recommended setup, but for now we're stuck with using our bare-bones array. I love the camera, for sure, but the $2K price tag would be hard to justify with our leadership.

Monte, thanks for your video. Could you do a video talking about the best settings to use on the PTZ camera for a church with a sanctuary with low lighting.
@Monte Waver If you know tell How reset a ClearOne 200 PTZ camera without remote control, after read the user manual it describe how to with remote control only.
Very nice video. We're looking to upgrade from Mevo for more versatility and functionality. Only question I have is about how you integrate sound, specifically in a church setting. Any suggestions for that?
For churches that are gathering back in the building, an audio mixer is the best way to bring audio into the live-stream. It allows you to capture the audio from musicians, speakers, etc and you can use the audio mixer output jack and plug directly into the computer's microphone jack.
PTZ cameras do not have built in microphones. If subscribed to the channel, you can search the channel for my other videos about connecting microphones and audio setups with PTZ cameras.
Thank you for this video, sir. I have a question: can we record a church conference from a van? The only thing we need in the conference hall is a speaker. Do you think this could work wirelessly?
Absolutely. I use wireless in my studio for a couple PTZ cameras for testing. I talked about the concept in this video - th-cam.com/video/ucA07nCPwis/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! This video is very understandable and straight to the point. My question is, I want to setup 2-3 camera's how would I do this? I read online "Daisy Chaining" using the RS-232 cable enables the camera's to be connected to each other and then to the controller. I am also interested in a controller with a preview on it, can I use any controller? Thanks a million! God bless you!
Here's a video on daisy chaining with RS232 - th-cam.com/video/ijO2rBX2rtg/w-d-xo.html - I personally preview with a multi-view monitor such as the ATEM because it also controls switching between the cameras - amzn.to/3muht7G - The tiny preview screens on a controller will hurt your next to look at LOL
Thank you for this simple video! Other channels mention NDI, SDI, IP addresses, which I have no idea about. This made it seem very simple to set up. How do you incorporate good audio?
NDI, SDI are just additional ways to connect. There are a lot of way to setup and connect camera and audio devices. I separate audio and use a dedicated audio mixer which there are also many to choose from.
I really like your demonstration. I think whenever i am going to set up my studio, i will buy your software. But still, i need to know how to get sound using the microphone

I just have some few questions, you see I volunteer to a church to help them set up their like this and apparently I cannot find good suppliers to get all this set up and also what should I do if the Church and the control room or technical room where I will operate this set up is a bit longer. Can the cables be customize as per requirements or not. Can u please guide me over on how to purchase this item. Looking forward. Tnx and GOD bless
Very good clear instructions. Never seen a video as complete with info of your caliber. Can you please either refer me to a video or explain how to connect a PTZ camera to wall monitors inside the church? It's not a very large church but we would like the members see exactly what is being broadcast. Also mainly for announcements and coming events displays during the offering or break during service. Explaining technicals in text format is a challenge, plus each setup is unique and different ... To connect PTZ cameras to wall monitors, you would need to have a video interface such as a ATEM mini because it will allow you to connect your camera to the device and then send the signal out from the device to monitors/tv's/etc. I don't have a specific video on it, but I do have one from an install with a similar concept -th-cam.com/video/XYqbZBXbrSY/w-d-xo.html

I noticed a HDMI interface on the back of the camera during your demonstration. Is this an HDMI output that could be sent to a HDMI video mixer in lieu of using the USB interface?
Correct. The HDMI on the pack of the camera can go directly into a video mixer. In newer videos on the channel, you definitely see various examples of setups.
Thanks as always Monte. I have a ministry where we go live 3 days a week. I am using a PC and possibly using Nikon cameras as a webcam. Q: Can we use the PTZ camera in the home? Is it an overkill? I thank you for sharing the restream. This video has simplified so many prior questions we had re: streaming platforms. Thank you.
Awesome. If you’ve seen my recent videos or follow me on Amazon LIVE, I use multiple PTZ cameras in a basement setup. I wouldn’t say it’s overkill because the pricing of budget PTZ cameras is better than mirrorless and DSLR cameras.
Nice, but I was wondering if you could tell us about a camera setup that follows the speaker as they move about in the sanctuary. I thought I saw one somewhere that a person just had a clip on button or something and that’s how the camera follows him. Do you know of such a camera? We do facebook live so the sound quality would need to be good as well. Thanks
Yes, so not sure if you've checked out my recent videos on the channel - This one is an AI tracking camera - th-cam.com/video/TFAFGZJHbQ/w-d-xo.html . I also live demo on Amazon LIVE - amazon.com/live/monteweaver
Great video and very helpful for my small church! Do you have any recommendations to have the ability to stream live music without getting shut down by TH-cam and other platforms for copyright infringement?
thank you for the information.... just wanna ask if the ptz camera has the good capacity in a long distance range with out compromising the quality of the video.?
Monte, what about a good Mic for quailty audio. Also the camera is almost 1000 dollars on your link, also do you know of a cheaper Camera that will get the job done?
I'm actually going to releasing a video on the channel next week about a $550 PTZ camera. Just a few years ago these cameras were much more than $1000 so this actually a great deal !! I don't route my audio into the camera. Are you looking for shotgun, handheld, lapel microphones?
I may have missed it in the comments. We have an old analog soundboard. My understanding is it won’t work through the computer. So, wanting to set up 2 mics through the camera or a mini mixer into the computer. One for speaking/lapel and one for overall room sound. Any suggestions. ? Thx
I also sell gear that I receive for TH-cam/Amazon product reviews. Most of the gear is rarely used after the unboxing video - They can be purchased from my website. valetmedia.company.site/
Monte, great video. I have a question about Restream. I have two cameras. Can the operator have camera #1 live streaming and adjust the pan, tile and focus on Camera #2 before switching to that camera? Can he do that within Restream?
This can be done, however while LIVE on camera #1 , you would not be able to preview your position of camera #2 before switching to it - Restream really isn't the best platform for multiple cameras.
I need to upgrade my ministry equipment. I have a camera like yours, two screens and projector into my cpu, then a aux cord from my cpu to a 32 channel Eurodesk mixer. My hippups are when using mics and music from TH-cam...im getting high pitched feedback thru my wall speakers...but it stops when I mute the channel or unplug my usb sound cord that's plugged in a splitter to my cpu...only because, if I plug it directly in, it won't play no sound...very weird. So I'm thinking my issue is a sound card. The sound area is not my Forte, but its my ministry now so I needed to get some understanding. Any advice would help. I dont use OBS...I got frustrated when I tried to use it and gave up. It feels like I have something up too high (volume wise) but I don't know yet, how to manipulate the gains on this older eurodesk to my benefit. Everyone I go to is a expert in this area until I ask a question...very discouraging. Oh and can I use Restream with zoom?
I'm don't quite understand the question, I know for me it's always easier to see a visual. My guy @AJayTheCEO offers video consultations. Without knowing the equipment and your setup, its difficult to troubleshoot. As far as using Restream with Zoom, its possible. I'm not sure of your reason for wanting to do that, just keep in mind zoom was built to be a meeting platform. I've found that some churches want to zoom as if its a live-streaming platform and use software for the wrong use cases.
Thank you for this video but I’m worried about the length of the cable connections to both the laptop....in my church we set up live stream with directly in front of my pastor and the media control room is far back...how do we go around that?
Monte, we have reopened a small church and we are starting with zero in person attendance. We are live streaming all services to Facebook Live via IPhone. I would love to switch to PTZ but funding is low but building. Any suggestions on cost effective cameras? We do have a laptop that we use for ez worship software.
The Canon Vixia HF R800 is a budget starter camera. ( amzn.to/3udmPD0 ) .... You will need a capture card as well ( amzn.to/3dFEInp ) The camera is good in well light environments, but if you building doesn't have the best lighting, you'll want to position it closer to your subject and/or adjust the picture profiles.
My brother, what I want to know, will restroom take the place of Zoom and if so will the audio be much better. We currently use Zoom for our live stream at the moment. The audio is terrible. Sometimes we can hear the person teaching Sunday school, but when the congregation needs to respond, we get major feedback. We have a Yamaha TF5 mixing board and a camera that is able to do zoom, pan, and tilt. Our audio is the major issue.
This video was only about the camera - I don’t connect my microphone to my camera. If you’re subscribed to the channel, you’ll receive a notification of my next video about audio/microphone setup
On AmazonLIVE I did a tutorial of connecting multiple PTZ cameras together. You can FOLLOW me on Amazon when I live-stream about equipment. Start around the 23min mark of this video to see how I daisy chain the cameras together. www.amazon.com/live/broadcast/8187da3a-59c9-43fb-99a9-9cb84dabf7e7

How Far away can they use the Camera? Or is there a Camera with a microphone connected that they can place on a tripod and the speaker speaks from a podium?
There really is not a distance limit considering it can be connected over a network. I personally wouldn’t connect a microphone to a PTZ camera, using a dedicated sound mixer is a much better option.
You’ll need microphones / audio mixer. If you search my channel, I have some other videos about audio setups with PTZ cameras. Audio and video are 2 independent sources. Depending on the steaming box you have will depend on your specific setup & configurations.

Beautiful. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching.
I also live demo on Amazon LIVE - amazon.com/live/monteweaver
do you have a video explaining how to set up multiple camers using this system?
I’m actually going to be installing a camera at a local church with 2 additional cameras and will be recording that install for an upcoming video.
Thanks Monte, I'll be tuning in. New Subscriber.
Great video and very helpful for my small church! Do you have any recommendations to have the ability to stream live music without getting shut down by TH-cam and other platforms for copyright infringement?
there is no away around streaming music .. its best just not to do it in general.
Thanks for the great Informative content
Awesome. Glad your received value from it.
thank you for the information.... just wanna ask if the ptz camera has the good capacity in a long distance range with out compromising the quality of the video.?
Yes. Because it is using optical zoom you don’t lose quality on zooming as you would with a digital zoom/crop
thank you
Awesome thank you so much .
Glad the video was helpful.
I like the video. However, I couldn't find the components you listed 😅
Did you look in the description section of the video?
This vid is great thx
Glad it was helpful.
? Thx
Analog soundboards work just fine for live-streaming. Just come use the output channel available and connect to your computer.
Is there a more budget friendly PTZ camera that would work with this particular set up?
This is budget friendly. The prices of this cameras are significantly lower than just a couple years ago.
I also sell gear that I receive for TH-cam/Amazon product reviews. Most of the gear is rarely used after the unboxing video - They can be purchased from my website. valetmedia.company.site/
I have an question I’m planning on getting a pts system but my main worry is the sound having a band for my church I want the sound to sound good
So exactly what is your question?
I've found that some churches want to zoom as if its a live-streaming platform and use software for the wrong use cases.
excellent video very professional
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this video but I’m worried about the length of the cable connections to both the laptop....in my church we set up live stream with directly in front of my pastor and the media control room is far back...how do we go around that?
Not really sure how your setup is different from most. Cables length should be the last of your concern as cables are made for extended lengths.
Great information!
Glad it was helpful.
@@MonteWeaverofficial thank you, I will check into them.
Restroom take the place of zoom? Not familiar with restroom. Software and platforms don’t matter, it’s about your actual audio settings.
Did I miss what you used for your microphone set up?
This video was only about the camera - I don’t connect my microphone to my camera. If you’re subscribed to the channel, you’ll receive a notification of my next video about audio/microphone setup
Hi Is this camera good for a sanctuary type church? The focus is on the altar stage
Yes
How is the audio captured for live streaming? Do you connect the soundboard to the computer you are live streaming from?
Yep. Exactly. One feed from the audio mixer to the computer.
Thanks Monte. How do I connect multiple cameras in order to have control of each by the huddlecam controller?
On AmazonLIVE I did a tutorial of connecting multiple PTZ cameras together. You can FOLLOW me on Amazon when I live-stream about equipment. Start around the 23min mark of this video to see how I daisy chain the cameras together. www.amazon.com/live/broadcast/8187da3a-59c9-43fb-99a9-9cb84dabf7e7
Do you have any in Las Vegas, we have less than 200 people. Our fellowship area is 80x110.
Have any what in Las Vegas?
@@MonteWeaverofficial do you know of anyone that can install this system
What system. There just a lot of information that is missing to answer your question. I personally don’t know if someone in Las Vegas but I do know people that will travel if properly compensated as it’s their business.
Awesome man. What cable are you using to extend the the RS232 ? Span of about 75 ft
I have a RS232 - 75ft cable - www.amazon.com/dp/B077YZN9NY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_uJ3btizGGiVBV
Can you share examples of videos that were done using this camera?
Most of the videos for clients are behind paywalls but here are a couple - th-cam.com/video/nRX2f6aa_Xo/w-d-xo.html & th-cam.com/video/G0OQCB51Uhg/w-d-xo.html & th-cam.com/video/qaqprabu96k/w-d-xo.html
I would like to know how the microphone would get connected.
I would highly suggest subscribing to the channel so you are able to see the other videos on the channel such as this one where I discuss audio setups with PTZ cameras - th-cam.com/video/n6iXektj_Jk/w-d-xo.html
@@MonteWeaverofficial I will. I think it's worth it
How Far away can they use the Camera? Or is there a Camera with a microphone connected that they can place on a tripod and the speaker speaks from a podium?
There really is not a distance limit considering it can be connected over a network. I personally wouldn’t connect a microphone to a PTZ camera, using a dedicated sound mixer is a much better option.
@@MonteWeaverofficial Ahh, ok! Thank you! Very helpful!
We have the fomako ptz camera and can’t get sound when we Facebook live video looks great but no sound we are hooked up through poe
PTZ cameras don’t have built on microphones.
@@MonteWeaverofficial so I do you get sound someone at church ordered a live streaming box I hope that works thanks for the comment
@MonteWeaverofficial how not I sorry typing to fast lol
You’ll need microphones / audio mixer. If you search my channel, I have some other videos about audio setups with PTZ cameras. Audio and video are 2 independent sources. Depending on the steaming box you have will depend on your specific setup & configurations.
