I had a forester 2001 stick shift and I loved her strength and hard boby. Now I have a 2012 which I thought would be better and improved...but it's more of plastic, the bonnet very light. Friends keep in mind that most African roads are bad they need a hard body car than your plastic...or we shall resort to defender 110
The closeup shots near the end were nice. I am pleasantly surprised there is an eboxer version of Forester, because I was thinking about Prius e-awd and Rav4 Hybrid. But this eboxer sounds excellent, since the awd will be fulltime, and because it’s Subaru. Thanks for the video. Because its a grocery getter. The Forester or any of these SUV's really had allot of suspension travel. That was only a thing in the 80's and mid 90's until manufacturers realized most people never take these SUV's off road.

I dont think the turbo will back in the Forrester anytime soon maybe in 5yrs or maybe not only way it'll be back fast is if the SUV consumers demand it back but that wont happen
some companies like toyota or honda use electric power motor to give the car that extra boist or in essence to replace turbo which in my opinion great idea

And the atack angle is very bad. Forester 2013-2018 is better than Forester 2019 on off road.

Subaru is well known for its in-born engine oil burn problem due to the design of horizontal box engine. Has this problem ever be solved?

Why? The CVT step changes like an 8 speed auto but it's more efficient.
