Bought this camera for a joint Christmas gift for hubby and myself. Just used it on a Baltic cruise with visit to many museum and sights in Russia, Scandinavia, Amsterdam. It took awesome photos. We purchased extra batteries(we now have 3) but most lasted all day. The zoom is fantastic. I researched (to death) before purchasing and I know we made the right choice.

Seniors Tube hey there.To make my intro I used an open source compositing program called Natron. It's got quite the learning curve, ao you want to spend some time on it. Also make sure to have 16gb+ of RAM in your PC cause it's a memory hog.
For the outro I simply used a picture I made with GIMP, I composite it on my video with the simple compositing tool in KDEnlive

Do You Have Any Vedio On This ....
Through this camera you cannot get extreme background blur whenever you need,but you can achieve a good amount of background blur using these steps.
Set the aperture value to 2.8, and increase the subject to background distance,and zoom in a little bit(4 to 5x).

Ok so here is the question once again :-
While reading user reviews on Amazon I read in two comments that the pictures clicked by Sony hx400v show grains ( sort of pixelation ) when zoomed in the photo while viewing them !!
So my question is is that true ? Do the photos show any grains ??
And my ultimate question is that, I am really confused between Nikon p610 and Sony hx400v !! So can you please tell the best one ? ( my main objective is to click vibrant coloured photos ) thanks :)
Now if you zoom into a photo when it's already taken, it's normal that you see a sort of pixelation since you're, well, actually zooming a picture, this happens with any raster image. If you're talking of noise, that's a different matter. This camera has a pretty small sensor, this means it will be sensible to less light, resulting in not-so-good low light photos. In daylight tho, you can manually set the camera to use a low ISO and maybe increase the exposure time a little bit so that the picture stays bright, but doesn't produce noise. I don't know about the Nikon you quoted, but I guess you can probably find a nice review on TH-cam. About this Sony, it's a good camera, maybe a bit too expensive for what it offers but again, it's good.

If you plan on using it for photos only, the battery should last you a full day. You can always buy more batteries, you know. About the price/quality ratio, I can't say I'm 100% sure that I wouldn't have gotten a better camera for the money.

+Carter Ward I think so. I use AVCHD instead of mp4 and I can record 1080p videos at 50 fps. I think that you can use mp4, too and still maintain the same quality

Yes and yes. And no you can't use it while charging. You have to buy an optional charger or an optional battery.

I think you don't know what NFC is, you should probably google it. Anyway, you don't *need* NFC, you can directly connect with Wi-Fi but using NFC is a lot more convenient.
Yes i really don't know about it, I am using iphone 6s, i can connect with Wi-Fi and transfer photos but i have been able to control snapshots using my phone,
Yeah the iPhone has NFC but can't use it... It's there but it's useless, I'm not quite sure why.

Yes you can, but for example to shhot Portrait images, the distance between you and the person you want to shoot must be quite distant, for example 5 or 6 m to have a nice blur
