    Thanks for taking the time to create this video so I kinda know what I'm in for. Plus not having to remove the cab is a huge relief for me.

    I like the show. Even though you work mostly on fords the information applies to all vehicles. Keep up the good work. Tell Cameron he needs a flat top.

    Hey, while your there why not just take the cab off and do all the mounts at once! Then while your there, you can repaint the bottom of the cab and the frame! Then while your there.....lol
    Nice job guy's keep them vids coming!

      The While We Are Here's bout to eat me alive! Remember, we were just going to do the cab mount...Now we have a firewall pad from NPD, a Vintage Air System on the way, and are refinishing the steering column and are thinking about repainting the inside of the cab...

      @@AutoRestoMod.... I joke because my last "While you're there" project finally ended with a call to AMK for a complete fastener kit 😱 lol. May as well paint the inside of the cab "While you're there" 😂.
      Keep up the GREAT work, cya soon.

      Sometimes it's like that on those trucks. These were rusted around the mounts which was what was bothering me about them

    Very informative and helpful video guys! Thank you. However, both of you are killing me by using that body hammer as a ball-peen hammer, stop it----I mean it---STOP IT RIGHT NOW! Thanks again, fellas.

    What are the torque specifications for both the radiator core support and cab support bushing bolts?

  • @danieleickstedt8702
    @danieleickstedt8702 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I bought one of these from Dennis carpenter for the passenger side. It appears the mounting holes for the inner fender apron are on the wrong side. My drivers side looks right and even has the correct e-brake cable hole. Did you have to fill those holes and drill new ones. The holes for mounting the inner fender should be on the right side as you face it and not on the left. I was wondering if I just got a bad one or maybe this is correct for the 1973-79 or the Bronco that they also fit.

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. The holes for the passenger side are wrong.

      Hear ya. Our space s honestly quite small. We're at 40x40 and chockablock. One day we hope to be in a place to get a bigger shop and be able to bring in cars to work on.

    how come you just don't remove all the cabs

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, I'd rather maintain position of the cab. Doing one at a time on a truck that isn't getting the "full frame treatment" makes alignment of the cab easier. There is a good but of room for "ishing" the cab on the frame. Since ours is in pretty good shape, we're opting to just do one at a time.
