    Just file that rubbing part back or modify base to cut the corners

    hey, ive got two problems that im hoping you may be able to help me fix, so my tires balloon up and slip off and also the front axle doesnt turn when on the ground.

      If your tires are blowing off you need to glue em. They make special tire glue but I normally just use any superglue (ca glue) I have around like gorilla superglue and it works just fine.
      The front axles don't actually turn but the bearings that you put on them should spin freely with your wheels. If your bearings aren't spinning on the front just loosen the screw off a bit.

    Will the 12 mm hex 1:10 wheel adapter fit on the TAMIYA F104 METAL PLATED MESH WHEEL SET FOR RUBBER TIRES?

      I'm not sure and I can't find much info online. I think you'd just have to test and see... if that particular adapter doesn't work there's likely another one available on thingiverse.

      @@rcprinter Tnx for looking into that. Couldn't find much info either. Will let you know when I found a solution.

    So my f104 tires seem to be slightly larger than the actual tire. Worried about gluing wrong givin cost. Any ideas?

      hey man, ya I found the same. I'd still recommend to glue them but wrap each side tightly with elastics after you glue them to minimize the gap ... like this: i.imgur.com/9KfknfS.jpg

    What is the outer diameter of the Amazon tyres you bought and do they rub on the base?

    • @rcprinter
      @rcprinter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tires are about 67mm in OD and no they don't rub. I haven't tried this yet, but if you're getting rubbing on your tires I would try something like this: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2830779

    How do you attach the adapters?

    • @rcprinter
      @rcprinter  ปีที่แล้ว

      The rear ones just slide on easy, they're keyed to fit the driveshaft. The front ones get a bearing inside the adapter, then slide it on the shaft, then add the wheel, and then you put another bearing on the outside of the wheel before securing it with the 3d printed nut.

    Why not just buy f1 rc car tires?
