Considering that most ECM rushes are about consistency, and never having any downtime at all during the rush (to avoid risks and failures), it's no wonder that it took a whole 9 years for this massive skip to be found... Btw h3ll new PAYDAY 3 update next week (Anniversary heist) but also log in to the Discord and learn this rush!! It's really fun :p

the moment you bring up the lock my very first guess was gonna be something like shadow raid's helipad where you can trick the game that the ecm block should end and the pad restart under the effect of ecm. don't know how close my guess is but it's a lot easier to guess when someone already found them out kudo's to Dyrax for sharing this. now let's revisit the ecm lock heist such as the yach and try them out right? I belive you're going to show us the result anyway. thanks again for sharing this. I also glad that someone is experimenting with low fps lock and find someting even more than just running pass laser with it.
Very good guess yup! This is similar to the Shadow Raid helipad where this obscure trick was found by Dyrax, via looking at the BeardLib Editor and seeing how things worked behind the scenes. This exact same downtime trick should also work on Diamond Heist, because based on what Dyrax said, the keypad is exactly the same on both heists, as if copy-pasted from one heist to the other.

That turret glitch is absolutely ridiculous. I know a guy “xun” and he’s a part of speedrunning community, I was absolutely flabbergasted when he showed me this glitch on Birth of Sky, Breakfast in Tijuana and etc. I won’t tolerate this glitch in my regular lobbies, cuz it automatically ruins the game for me, but won’t mind trying when for speedruns.
The glitch is absolutely extremely broken yup! Here it skips a very clear 42s drill, but it can easily be used to skip doors tied to either longer drills, or much longer chains of objectives... Definitely makes sense for speedrunning, but for normal gameplay it is way too broken :D
@@Marcmb On Birth of Sky it just skips the whole heist. There’s a garage door by the Car Shop and using the glitch you can clip thru to the river, right to the end.
Not sure if you knew this or not, but mountain master is also able to be done with that loud stealth gimmick. It starts like normal stealth until the penthouse. Once up there, you alert and kill all but one guard, and then the last one you launch off the side of the building (while ECMs are still active of course). Once he falls, it activates the loud trigger, causing the alarm to sound and removing pagers, allowing you to do loud stealth! I do also want to note that this door glitch also works here for the hidden room. And while it may not be the best heist for loot, I figured I would still share this info with y’all!
Hi goawayplease! I am aware the same trick works on MM yup, it's really fun! My favorite part is doing the boss fight, in stealth, so I plan to make a video about that at some point. As for your other info, what do you mean by "hidden room"? I'm aware you can push a few doors on this heist, but I'm not sure which one you're referring to :D

The door I’m referring to was the hidden server room in the penthouse, however because neither me or my friends were using sentries, I have no idea how I managed to slip through it. My only guess is that is has something to do with the moving bookshelf, but I’m not entirely sure. Sorry that I don’t have much information as to how it worked, but as I have only been able to do it once despite trying again with the sentry, I am only able to make speculations. Also, as a side note, do you thing this loud stealth bug would work on overdrill? Thinking about it, placing the drill itself is a loud trigger, so wouldn’t this work here?

When this Golden Grin skip was discovered by Dyrax, we considered the possible use of the turret glitch to increase the XP efficiency even more, and it works fantastically as shown in the video! :D

Help! I tried doing big bank with saw to grind infamy and got the door spawn near manager office. I tried using the saw to open it, standing up and pre-reving to make it silent to those underneath. However when i did it today, unlike times before, it alerted the people underneath. A new maintenance update came out, so was the saw nerfed?
Hey alivent! The previous U240.3 patched the old old trick, but there was a workaround using LoS which I explained in my update video. However, the recent U240.6 removed that workaround, so as of right now, we do not have silent saw trick!!!
I know deep in my heart that the right computer on Big Bank have some pattern somewhere, I dont believe you only find the correct one by hacking and hearing/seeing some beep/message on the screen, there is another way Im sure!

...it's a complete shame that a players team is required for most skips, the only one which i saw that didn't required a team was the one with the grenade launcher at the first world bank, but i think it's patched
Most of these skips require a team yup. Technically you could do this one solo, but the XP reward would be lower because there is no time to complete all the objectives during the ECM time!

it will be good for not the best players to farm the pool if they dont want to infamy bc no skills then but 5 maps is little bit harder if u have bad memory ( idk how to say bad in not mean way so i said not the best)
Hey Repicat! Excellent question :p So there is this old mod called Infinamy that allows players to go Infamous beyond Infamy 500, but the real Infamy is only displayed on their own game. However for this lobby, they are using a new mod by Dyrax called "Infinamy Multiplayer", which allows the real Infamy value to be seen by all players (however, if you do not have the mod, the maximum displayed value is capped at 511, due to a 9-bit limit on the shared infamy value).
oh well, surely ovk won't go back just to patch their "dead" game because of a farming method instead of patching it because of the bunch of shit they fucked up in the last update.
A remake would've been nice yup, that's what lots of people wanted. I'm hoping they continue to improve the game and listen to the playerbase, because otherwise PAYDAY 3 will be a wasted opportunity...

100% recommended yes! Also, if you haven't yet, join our Discord server to find some other heisters to play with! We have a "Looking For Crew" channel mostly for stealth and rushing, but also achievements and some loud!
It would be so tricky though! Finding it by accident would be almost impossible because the time window for downtime 2 ends after 29.9 seconds, meaning that normal ECMs (which last 30s) are too long for this to be possible. The only way to find this by accident would be if someone was playing with 20 or 25s ECMs, which is extremely rare! :D

it will be good for not the best players to farm the pool if they dont want to infamy bc no skills then but 5 maps is little bit harder if u have bad memory ( idk how to say bad in not mean way so i said not the best)
For the learning runs yes! Better to practice at Level 100 (with pool). But after learning the heist, you will be able to do it like normal 5-maps :D

So there is this old mod called Infinamy that allows players to go Infamous beyond Infamy 500, but the real Infamy is only displayed on their own game. However for this lobby, they are using a new mod by Dyrax called "Infinamy Multiplayer", which allows the real Infamy value to be seen by all players (however, if you do not have the mod, the maximum displayed value is capped at 511, due to a 9-bit limit on the shared infamy value).
oh well, surely ovk won't go back just to patch their "dead" game because of a farming method instead of patching it because of the bunch of shit they fucked up in the last update.
I'm still hoping they'll fix some of the things that they broke completely... we'll see...

They should just change Payday 2's game engine, improve the graphics and naming it to Payday 3 instead of creating the current Payday 3.
A remake would've been nice yup, that's what lots of people wanted. I'm hoping they continue to improve the game and listen to the playerbase, because otherwise PAYDAY 3 will be a wasted opportunity...

i am surprized that you didnt found this by accident. that was how i see it the first time when playing coop and the next ecm was a little late.
It would be so tricky though! Finding it by accident would be almost impossible because the time window for downtime 2 ends after 29.9 seconds, meaning that normal ECMs (which last 30s) are too long for this to be possible. The only way to find this by accident would be if someone was playing with 20 or 25s ECMs, which is extremely rare! :D
