Good one Sir! As usual. For any blade , the formula I use is, discard as soon as it starts to tug , or the 4th shave, whichever is earlier. But i do make exceptions for the Feather. Loved your tagline!
Hi Subodh Ji, For me Willy's is smooth at this price point.Unfortunately I never get a good shave with Glatz. How is the Gillette yellow one, I heard its mileage and smooth is very good! I have Gillette green super stainless and it is super smooth blade but mileage is very less.
Namaskar Rahulji, the yellow Gillette is a good medium cut blade and I personally enjoyed it. It is better than the Gillette Green one with a slight edge in mileage. In the mid-range I still prefer the Gillette Black one or the BIC Chrome Platinum that have the optimal combination of smoothness and mileage. Cheers and have a great weekend
Totally agree especially on 2 points. With time what works for you changes. Classic example is i used to hate Wilkinson blade 1 year back and now it is one of my favourites Secondly, skin is a very important part, no point in running a worn out blade multiple times.worst case i will drag up to 3 shaves. By the way other good blades i tried are - Centwin, RK Chromium, Zorrik Supreme, V12 platinum, Supermax Diamond Edge, Dorco Klass - but all not crossing 2-3 shaves
Glad you found the video useful and couldn't agree with you more on the other blades you mentioned. I have experienced most of them and agree that they are good for 2-3 shaves at most. Have a good evening.
Hi Mr Ali, the Gillette 7 O'Clock is a wonderful starter blade that offers the best of smoothness and sharpness. There are blades that are sharp in the first shave and then gradually lose their sharpness but this blade maintains its sharpness even after 3-4 shaves to give a smooth shave.
Hi Mr Ali, the Gillette 7 O'Clock is a wonderful starter blade that offers the best of smoothness and sharpness. At its price point it probably is the most widely available blade that can compete well.
@@PinkWoolf but Wilkinson sword is perfect balance between Sharpness and Smoothness and not as sharp as Gillette 7'O Clock super platinum. Gillette Wilkinson sword is Smooth blade
Mostly sample blades for last few years, and I do push them to see how many shaves I can do for each blade. One thing definitely I find is that if a blade is bad on its first use, it will be bad on any succeeding uses. But a good or better than good blade can give me MORE than just 5,.... I should not tell how many, since I might scare people if I do.
That’s true that you can determine the blade quality in the first shave itself. Personally we don’t favour pushing any blade beyond 5 shaves but to each their own!
Always use one time any blade for best shave. Always use pink Woolf shaving products for best have. Pink Woolf shaving cream is better than body shop shaving cream which is made in United Kingdom. Thanks
Did anyone notice how well and quickly Subodh ji is able to make calculations in his head regarding pricing per shave?
Cheers

Amazing video. Was that the Ulsey Nardin? The dial color looks super nice and vintage!
Nahi Sir, this is a HMT Praveen with new shoes (leather watch strap). That's a good reminder for me to wear the Ulysse Nardin in next video:)
Howz Gillette 7'O Clock Permasharp stainless blade sir?

Sir what about Gillette Wilkinson sword?
Pretty much the same as 7 O’Clock in sharpness and smoothness. I didn’t feel much of a difference
