Your CPU is too strong for the GPU meaning you have a bottleneck. Also get 32gb of RAM its optimal for gaming. And your cooler is too expensive + there are way better options, NZXT just looks a little cooler.@@UNDONE-916
A similar way to do this without needing an adapter is to use Steam remote play. The trick is to stream the right program/game that you can minimize and then access the entire computer instead of just the game. The only problem is you need to have a display on the host computer so you can run Steam and set it up.

Mine just the cheapest one in the market and a 6 years old laptop (asus 144 whatever, forgot it, the sticker is teared) getting around 50-100ms input lag, it's not much but very noticeable to me.

You could probably buy a cheap USB KVM switch, this way it's easier to switch between the laptop and Tower M&K. It would be better for gaming too so you could use a wireless keyboard and mouse if you preferred.
@@gabr1elangelas461 Theoretically yes. I have done it before but you still need that OBS software and the Videocapture/USB to HDMI devide. Although there are some games that makes it lag at times but you can tinker a bit on the framerate settings. My son is using his PS4 and hooked it up on his laptop playing Genshin Impact. He can play Genshin on Laptopn but it was so slow so we hooked up his PS4 to it and played that way. I am honestly hoping that there will be a "plug and play" device that can do this in the future without having to rely on OBS software.
