- LED TV blinks / flickers/ flashes when using other switches, lights, fridge, fan etc, in the switch board where the TV is connected. Here is a simple solution.
Usually TV connected to setop-box using HDMI will blink/ loses signal for a second if other switches/ electrical equipment are turned on.
This video provides a simple and effective solution for all the problems mentioned below:
1. light switch interference with tv
2. tv flickers when light switch is turned off/on
3. tv flickers when fan turns on
5. tv flickers when ac comes on
6. tv flickers when fridge turns on
7. monitor blinks when turning lights off
8. tv signal affected by light switch
9. tv goes off when fridge compressor comes on
10. Light switch affecting TV sound/visuals
11. tv switches off when switches are used
12. monitor blinks when turning lights off
13. HDMI blinks on turning lights on/off
14. Signal just stops for like 2 secs

I searched the net for a solution but i didn't find any, other than buying stabilizer, replacing HDMI cable, checking wiring, changing electrical board, buying stabilizer etc, and i accidentally came up with this idea.

Fantastic idea . This has solved my 1 year problem. I thought this issue is with my wirings. Whenever I turned on off fan button display used to go blank. After watching this video , I connected composite cable and issue resolved. Awesome ....And thanks a lot for the tip.

Thanks so much. I had periodic seconds long flickering while watching cable tv and thought the cable signal must be crappy. Also had same problem while watching discs on my highly rated blu ray player, and I thought my discs must be deteriorating. After watching your video, I went to the local big box store and bought their best hdmi cable for both the tv and the blu ray player. Problem absolutely solved.

I have this same problem,😄 but now this problem get resolved by blue riggers triple shielded HDMI cable, 😄
As per my research The main reason for this problem is Electro magnetic interference, due to low quality Hdmi cable without shielding in the cable, 😑

This looks like bad earthing and when you connect the other cables, they earth it better, stopping the problem or surge. Always make sure your power source is reliable and constant.

Thats because of the HDMI cable quality. It does not manage electrical power noise correctly. If you use a good brand one issue will disappear.

Go to a program like on TH-cam and press * Scroll to Advance Pics Setting. Scroll down to BACKLIGHT and drop it to around 45 and this solved mine. Pass the word.

A quality cable will not pickup the external radiation.
It's better to go for a good HDMI cable. Some low range cables don't have better grounding circuitry.

This is actually the right answer. I bought some cheap cables, and this problem came. Went back to using OEM cables, this was not a problem anymore.
May I know what is the main reason when connect to the Yellow Red White cable to the set top box to tv can eliminate the problem of flicking?

EMI has been reduced due to Ground connection of Composite video/audio cord. HDMI well sensitive to EMI and needs to be neutralize. HSync and Vsync mostly interrupted through EMI because EMI can generates PWM signal that can interrupt V/HSync on HDMI because sync used clock PWM signal.
Bro if youtube and other online streaming apps working fine than problem with ur HDMI cable, buy a new high speed HDMI cable and try, it can solve ur problem.

I did the same but it still shows the flickering when i switch on or off fan/ motors/ any other heavy appliances. Plz help what else can i do? I even kept a stabilizer but didn’t work.
Its a prob with the setopbox n not tv. So adding stabilizer to tv is of no good. If u can upgrade the setopbox the prob would vanish
Jay Tech we were provided setupbox from the tv company itself for Rs4000 promising it is the best. “Clear Tv”
Disconnect the setopbox. Play something from Pendrive n check whether the flickering prob happens now. If it doesn't then its ur setopbox. Even then if it happens u have to check ur house wiring

The flickering happens only if the source is through hdmi cable. U just have to connect a AV cable between tv and Set-top box to stop the flickering and ur source can still be hdmi. Hope u understand

2 solutions may help this problem
1. Wrap with tin foil the coated wire of your HDMI to reduce EMI interference
2. Buy a cat 6 cable. It's expensive though

Don't trade 1080hd for low quality 480. Instead try an emi filter. Wrap one once on your your cords and hdmi cord.
I didn't tell to watch tv through av connection, what i told is connect av cable also along with hdmi cable and continue to watch in hdmi.

They look fine. No cracks or dirt. May be you are comparing it with gold plated cables
