Good solution bro
But no need to change the vga cable or hdmi just keep all electric supply wire such as display power wire,any other ac supplying wire Atleast 15-20 cm away from vga/hdmi cable.This problem occur due to voltage fluctuation,as when ac voltage fluctuates magnetic induction changes around the wire which causes interferrence in video/audio cables.
Right sir but you can't keep electric cable away in an existing setup so you should always use proper shield hdmi cable
