My screen did this for a year. I did some research previously and basically came to the conclusion that it was a flaw in screen. until today. #3 fixed it, all i had to to was unplug it and plug it into a socket three feet away that runs on a different circuit. I think the screen is really sensitive and I'm guessing the previous owner gave it away for the same reason. Thumbs up! Edit: Problem came back the next day it turned out to be a cheap hdmi cable, although running off a shared circuit did seem to have an impact.
Did urs flash black/blank screen when using the Xbox series s when gaming and then goes back to normal in a few second ? I keep getting that issue so annoying
@@itsricksung I'm getting the same. I heard Game Mode can cause an issue, but whether I have Game Mode set to Auto or always On it'll still glitch my screen the next day. Even when I'm just mirroring my phone to my TV it's doing the same thing.
A comment on here said about taking the batteries out of your remote and putting them back in. God knows why, but it worked. Worth a shot for everyone too.

Same here, we had a power outage a while ago and I heard a snap. Prolly fried something in the surge protector and that's what caused the flashing I'd guess.

Alright so this is my first time buying a Samsung tv and it’s only flashing on and off on when I switch my input to my Nintendo Switch. On my fire stick it works perfectly fine. Haven’t had too much time to test any other devices but do you suggest the problem lies within my hdmi cable because I never had this problem with my vizio.

Ohh sorry for my previous tips. The problem is loose connection between display port. So please open the back cover and check all loose connection. Confirm all connection tight. This is easy process. Remind: before open back cover please unplug power cables & after 10 minutes later you will ope the back cover. Because of avoiding electric shock. Any difficulties please let me inform. So I'm not having much luck here. Kids were playing games the other night, we shut everything down and we notice the tv would light up like a back light (gray light) and then back to black. I did notice that the LED in the bottom DOES blink red. Ive read one post about a possible power supply issue. I left it unplugged over night and no change. Any ideas? Thank you - Merry Christmas

I was given a Samsung UN70NU6900F from someone after a storm. I checked the power supply fuse which is good. When I plug it in the standby light comes on as well as the backlights and then the standby light flashes twice and turns off. The set just keeps cycling doing the same thing. Where do I look next? I have a Samsung tv. Un65j6200af and it had no lights so I replaced the LEDs. Now I get a very faint light I see the Samsung logo then 2 big vertical blue bars then back to black. I've also replaced the tcon board. Also when I unplug the cable from the main board to the power board and plug it in the wall nothing happens but when I unplug all the leds flash once. When I first plugged in, it was on a plug adaptor... it wouldn't turn on at all... Then I removed the adaptor, plugged directly into the clamper and it worked... 2 days later, bought a new clamper and this on and off issue started... So I put it back on the previous clamper and now it's back working just fine... So MY problem was the energy
When I was a Sharp Engineer, I use to swap PCB Main Board or Power Board mostly when TV shows no light and full black blank screen. Most issues use to be easy fix by simply providing INPUT Source like HDMI 1 cable and turn on the device connected to it. TV will wake up from it’s annoying screensaver/sleep mode. My personal Samsung TV was stuck in a loop of showing Smart TV logo screen on and off. Tried hard reset, unplugged it and tried to enter service mode but didn’t worked. I turned on the button of my Xbox which was connected to HDMI 1 port and Tv woke up. Saved me a hassle of replacing PCB main board or updating firmware.
I just experience this problem. Mine was related to my Roku device. Process to reboot. Unplug tv, unplug roku device. Plug tv in, press power button on tv itself until tv starts back up. Plug roku device back in. Then go thru all firm ware roku, tv and ensure up to date. My first indicator, tv sounded like it was trying to power on Then back off continously. No light indicator on roku device. When streaming roku movies or shows, some lock up at end of show, therefore your tv doesn't know what to do. No problems sense rebooting sequence.

sounds like a cap problem. caps don't always blow. fixed an led light yesterday by just replacing the cap. the cap didn't blow it just went bad.

Two flashes on Samsung tv usually indicates a power supply problem.

Hi when turning the TV on it makes a horrible noise and switches itself on and off several times with crackling noises inbetween it flickering various colours and lines can you help thanks works fine once it's sorted itself out done the disconnecting everything

following methods as step by step. Hope this will work fine.
1. It can be caused by weak signal strength and signal quality of the connected device.
2. You need to check the connected device.
3. You may check the connected cable and replace if the problem is caused due to cable.
4. It can be adjusted by the picture settings from Menu.
5. Also, check whether TV is running in Power Saving Mode.
6. Press the Menu key from the remote control and check on-screen display.
7. There might be a broadcasting problem, change the channel and check by other channels.
8. You can also perform Self Diagnosis.
9. You can Reset the TV Software.
10. You can Update TV Software.

I have a Samsung tv. Un65j6200af and it had no lights so I replaced the LEDs. Now I get a very faint light I see the Samsung logo then 2 big vertical blue bars then back to black. I've also replaced the tcon board. Also when I unplug the cable from the main board to the power board and plug it in the wall nothing happens but when I unplug all the leds flash once. Could it be the main board?What do you think the problem could be? If you have time I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Tried all of your tips. None of them worked. My TV is only flickering when something is plugged into either of the HMDI inputs. But I can take the external device and same cord and plug it into another TV with no issues. Is my main board bad?

I also have a search protector on it a Box with a fuse in it and it's not bothered at all it's working so it wasn't lightning. The light blinks off and on the bottom the red too

Reseting picture settings worked for me
I have a un60fh6003f 65 in. It turns on and off, the controller doesnt work with it and that's all it does just on and off what could it be?

3. Now recheck the tv

When I first plugged in, it was on a plug adaptor... it wouldn't turn on at all... Then I removed the adaptor, plugged directly into the clamper and it worked... 2 days later, bought a new clamper and this on and off issue started... So I put it back on the previous clamper and now it's back working just fine... So MY problem was the energy
When I was a Sharp Engineer, I use to swap PCB Main Board or Power Board mostly when TV shows no light and full black blank screen.
Most issues use to be easy fix by simply providing INPUT Source like HDMI 1 cable and turn on the device connected to it. TV will wake up from it’s annoying screensaver/sleep mode.
My personal Samsung TV was stuck in a loop of showing Smart TV logo screen on and off. Tried hard reset, unplugged it and tried to enter service mode but didn’t worked. I turned on the button of my Xbox which was connected to HDMI 1 port and Tv woke up. Saved me a hassle of replacing PCB main board or updating firmware.

I just experience this problem. Mine was related to my Roku device. Process to reboot. Unplug tv, unplug roku device. Plug tv in, press power button on tv itself until tv starts back up. Plug roku device back in. Then go thru all firm ware roku, tv and ensure up to date. My first indicator, tv sounded like it was trying to power on Then back off continously. No light indicator on roku device. When streaming roku movies or shows, some lock up at end of show, therefore your tv doesn't know what to do. No problems sense rebooting sequence.

Hi friend, sorry for the inconvenience. Basically tv screen is flashing due loose connection of input cable. So please disconnect all external cables, power cables and then plug in back.
Hopefully this will help you to solve the problem.

@FIXNETFLIX I Was thinking maybe it was an LED issue. Was thinking of changing out the LED strips to see if that works. It is purely just for something to do instead of making the effort of recycling it.
