    Good stuff man. You can turn off the "eco" mode on the Bluetti so the AC/DC won't turn off automatically like that.

    @fullsend.bbq here:
    We like ribeyes choice grade at the very least. Prime is always a plus.
    If you’re looking for something a bit more easy on the wallet then, sirloins, NY cut, picanha, t bone, and skirt steak is a really good one too.
    Cheers 🤙

    The Foster's bring back good memories of living in Boulder CO in 1990. I just remembered it was in a blue can. Not long after, when it became a US hit, it seemed as if the flavor changed.
    Looks like your front passenger side window repair is holding up well with your GFC fix.
    I'm just waiting for you to buy some Turbo Nap Mattress cushions for a review next. 😂

      lol! I did see the Blue Can available! I'll have to try that one next time. The window repair is holding up well which is great. Are you guys thinking of buying the Turbo Nap mattress?? I was looking at them but with that price range... over $500 I think? I may check out the Overland Soft goods option with the 1" foam sheets for less than $100 first to see how that does before dropping a few hundred on a GFC solution... lol

      @OutOfOfficeCamping 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Kadenventures Yippy Yes, a Blue Can review would be great content. I don't drink anymore, so I get a real kick with everything you pull out of that cooler. 😂
      TURBO Nope Awww... no time soon. Happy with the REI Helix pad Teresa let me have after she bought a big Giai Loop memory foam pad. This way I can fold mine back when we need to crawl down for a middle of night potty breaks. 🙂

    I never comment but let ne recommend something on rib eyes.
    Get your cast iron HOT as you can, HOT. Throw down butter,et ut get HOT. On one side of that hot pan, throw the steak down and dont move it so it sears. After 2 mins or so depending how well done or rare you want it...flit it over on kther side of pan that is hotter and let it sear. It will create a seared glazed surface that is AMAZING.

    • @Kadenventures
      @Kadenventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good to know, thanks for sharing!! I think that was my issue with these steaks was the pan was not HOT HOT, i'll keep that in mind for next time though, thanks for watching!!

    Fosters is great. I prefer the lager (blue can) but the ale is decent. Especially when they're like 2 for $5, or less sometimes. Love me a NY strip. I know you've mentioned it before, but what brand is the truck tote (black one)? I keep buying the cheapies from Lowes/HD and they just fall apart immediately. I need something that can hold a decent amount of weight ( fluids, recovery gear, tool bag etc.) and I like the idea of being able to sit/stand on them too. Cheers brotha!

    • @Kadenventures
      @Kadenventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea! Definitely not a bad ale, I'll try the blue can next time! The black tote is a Plano, got it at Bass pro or Sportsmans on sale for I think $20? but this thing has been holding up like a champ, I've had it now for a few years but these Planos are cheap enough to replace if needed lol Cheers J!!

    Man I haven't had a Fosters since high school I don't think. 🤣Seriously you never buy Ribeye? Thats pretty much the only steak I eat, and it is awesome for camping. Out of curiosity where are you picking up your firewood in Vegas?

    • @Kadenventures
      @Kadenventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      After this ribeye this cut will be on the top of the list when we buy steak from now on lol it was so good. I usually buy wood from Albertsons its the bundles in a plastic bag, makes it easier to handle and transport and since its in a bag we dont get a bunch of little wood chips in the truck lol Thanks for watching Jay! And Happy new Year!

    How is this the first time you're cooking a ribeye as a grown as man? The ribeye is the king of steaks. Some people will lie to you and say that the tenderloin is #1 but they're just snobs that go by price. The ribeye is the best cut of steak that you can get. Some people will chime in and because they don't like the fatty parts of the meat, and that's valid. I don't like the fat either, but you have to cook the steak with the fat to get the flavor that only a ribeye can give you. You cut the fat off and eat the parts you like (after you cook it) and that piece of meat is the best you can get. That said, I have never been a fan of the pan seared butter with garlic and rosemary version of the steak. I don't knock them, but I'm more of a salt pepper garlic and worcestershire grilled steak kind of guy. Try that if you want to expand on your steak culinary skills. I live in Texas, and here there are certain things that you take serious. God, family, meat, football, good manners. You notice Meat is in the top three.

    • @Kadenventures
      @Kadenventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      lol I already know i'm late to the steak game, our go to is usually Sirloins or NYs. That is exactly what I do when i have Ribeyes is cut the fat off after its cooked since it definitely adds flavor to the meat. I love Worcestershire on a steak! So good. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! Cheers!
