WoW Time-Lost Proto Drake Hunting - 6 Hour Spawn Time?

Looks like I'm just really lucky lately. First, I get Karoma about 45 minutes after I see him because I had to hurry and hit 85, then I randomly started farming Borean Leather when NPC_Scan/SilverDragon goes off and tells me Vyragosa is around... I don't kill her, but decided to see if Time-Lost Proto Drake would spawn for me if I camped for a while... since there wasn't really anyone in the zone today for some reason... it's usually populated with TLPD campers like you wouldn't believe! Anway, I saw on some forums that some people got EXTREMELY lucky and had TLPD spawn after only a hour-six hour time span... so I wanted to see if I would too.

Note - just because mine spawned in 6 hours, doesn't mean that is the spawn timer.. some people wait a few hours, some a few weeks, some a few months, hell there's even been a few people who waited a few years. Just stick with it, but don't get burned out. Honestly, I've only seen Time-Lost once in Wrath days, and this is the first time I've seen him since I started playing again in February. I've never camped the zone for long, because I got tired of all the other campers/people killing me for no "good" reason. Anyway, good luck, don't take it TOO seriously, and don't have a heart attack when you get lucky enough to see this guy flying around and going in your mount collection. =]

Some people will argue having both SD and NPC_Scan is ridiculous since they do the same thing, but I've had one detect a rare and the other one do nothing before... so I'll stick with using both thank you.
