So I finally tried getting timelost today after more than 10 years of wanting one and actually found it after only 3 Vyragosa kills and about 9 hours in storm peaks I feel very lucky and im quite happy! Also great guide the macro and exact spawn locations helped me a ton❤

I did the exact same thing back in BFA. Took a week and a half and I got TLPD and Aeonaxx 12 hours apart. On the same character too! I had 6 Demon Hunters leveled up on different RP realms.
Yea it takes a bit of time to lvl up alts in other realms, but honestly I think it does worth it, especially when you are in high populated realm and you have to compete with so many other people.
This is pretty accurate, but there is missing a very important point. If there is no one on the Storm Peaks, the zone will reset, this means that all the mobs spawn countdown will be set to 0, until there is at least a player in the zone, in other words, Time Lost Proto Drake or Varygosa will never be spawned. So if you want to take in consideration a dead server, camping is required.
@@AndrikatsGames I guess its a work around for blizzard, that could stop us from abusing layering with parties on dead servers, with class trial characters To prevent scenarios like : I do a class trial on a dead server, invite some friends, they invite my main, and Boom, we are all on the same dead server and got Proto Drake without any issues after we have tried switching like 30 servers
@@jaredtandle2596 not sure, use an add-on like NPC Time that shows you since when there were NPC spawned in the zone you are in. If there is literary no player in the zone and the add-on tels you the npcs just spawned, then yes, the zoned was phased out

Well guess what, they might be low pop, but a majority of the players are specifically on that realm for that mount, so it still will be highly contested.
Well if you go off hours like very early in the morning or very late, you have more chances to find empty low pop realms. If you go during the day it’s very likely that you’ll find people even there. That applies for pretty much every rare I hunted so far.
Honey, theres gotta be a lot of farming. We just got it with a group. We’ve been farming for ten days straight… all spawn points covered, only two hours offline after the kill. We got him finally yesterday after 10 days and 60 Vyragosas dead…

No need, most of the mounts nowadays are shared across your account no matter how many servers u have alts in. I think only gladiator mounts are only in the character u get the title.

It's the SilverDragon addon, but you need to also download the SilverDragon: Map Overlays. If the paths are not visible when u open your game, then enable them by going to Interface>SilverDragon>Map Overlay>World Map and tick the Enabled along with the Routes.

Back in LK days, I accepted a summons from my guilds raid group. When I did I was right in front of the waterfall. Right on the path.. 5 hours later when I left I raid and respawned right where I was before, literally inside Vyr as she was flying by on that same path. I couldnt beleive it lol so i killed her. To this day I still havent found TLPD alive.
hmm I alone can't do that but I'm pretty sure there's a discord channel, where people share when they find tlpd and other rare mounts. It's called WoW Secret Finding & Collections. Good luck ;)
Now it's a bit of a dead period in game, it makes sense that people go after rare mounts. Best time to go after it is during start of expansions, patches etc, when most people concentrate on the new stuff.

Tbh we recorded this footage from my brother's account who doesn't have the tlpd, and he has been farming it forever, so even if we did find tlpd I don't know what was the problem. Why on earth would I go and kill it if I already have it? Lol I'm not an asshole. And even if I do happen to see tlpd with my account, I would share it with my friends and guildies who don't have it.
I'm 32, in a senior position at my company. I play this game. You don't have to waste hours per day to enjoy something. I log in, do a quest or two and move on. Currently lvl 79 on my main 3 months after classic wrath release. Don't need to waste your life to max out in one day.
I’m sure you can make time if you really want to play :) maybe it will be weekends or late at night. Game is still enjoyable even if you are not playing every single day.

Um I don’t understand how would that be stealing. It’s not like you know when it will spawn, still requires luck. And you probably will do it for many days in a row. Stealing would be if you kill it and you had it already. Ye thats mean and rude to the other people camping for it.
@@AndrikatsGames yeah but on those "dead" RP servers someone has to be in a zone for the timer to actually move otherwise after 15 minutes storm peaks resets... So I'm also kinda annoyed when i stay there for more than 2 hrs and ppl just log in and out at that point because they see npctime is 2h+

I thought it was only Timeless Isle but even there, when the zone resets almost all of the rares respawn again >.< Then yes I can understand the frustration when u have to camp it. But still for some of us who compete with many people in high populated realms, I think it’s easier to lvl up an alt in a much crowded server and try our luck there.

In classic, yes you can do it this way. In retail you don't need to.

Yep! Assign to your macro an easy keybind in your bars, and basically click/spam it.

Actually you can loot TLPD on a class trial. That's how I got mine. :)

I'm assuming you can't. Isn't cross-faction only available in instances for now at least?!
