Excellent exercise! I need to practice on my balance, It’s been a problem for the last week. Thank you Carol. Congratulations on your growth. So glad many new yogis are joining!
Here is a tip for your balance practice. Pick a place to lock your eyes on (this is called your drishti) - perhaps where the wall meets the ceiling - and focus on that spot while you are doing the moves. Sometimes that will help with your balance. We hit 8k subscribers today. Our community is growing - so glad you are part of it!
Oh my goodness; that is so exciting. You deserve it. I feel attached, I have been a subscriber about 2.5 years I think. These classes are important for me. Thanks again
Almost talked myself out of the mat this evening - swam last night and woke up stiff and then sat at my desk for most of the day. So glad I didn't listen :D My intention today was openness - which was perfect with camel pose. Thanks as always Carol
Namaste Carol! I followed your suggestion and I am doing the Downward Dog Days challenge, after completing the 28 day challenge and the Around the Body 30 day challenge. I mix it with a Monday Motivation every Monday. It's very nice and I love it. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I feel a lot stronger and better. I will ask you for suggestions once I finish this. Thank you so much once again.
I'm so glad that you've found another series that works well for you. Mixing in some Mindful Monday classes is a great idea. Keep up the great work and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. You're welcome!
@@BottomsDown, Thank you. I look forward to your suggestions once I complete this series. I'm 62, quite flexible, though I have weak knees. Too much of flexing of the left knee is difficult for me. I want to lose some weight too in the process.
It's important to get out of all poses with intention, but especially balance poses. Keep working on it. That other side will strengthen and you'll get better with time. Keep up the great work!
I just adore tree pose & I feel steadier than ever - might even try to move my foot up to my thigh from my calf next time :D Gorgeous class. Thanks Carol. Btw, are there are any gentle shoulder/ chest opening poses you could recommend - I'm really feeling them at the moment - they're holding onto some stress and I notice they close/ collapse in towards each other when I sleep. I feel they would benefit from some opening movement in the morning. Thx, Em x
Hey there. I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy working on your balance with tree pose. It's such a good way to promote balance health. Regarding the shoulder and chest opening poses, I would recommend the playlist themed "Open Your Heart". You can access it from th-cam.com/users/bottomsdown and scroll down to Chair Yoga by Theme. Or click the link below. Check them out and see if there are some poses in these classes that help you out. Let me know! th-cam.com/play/PLD2LeigHmZ4HYJxgNWMcAnhk9haPBR9Fa.html

It's so easy to talk ourselves out of it, but I'm glad that you didn't! Keep it up, you're doing great. Openness is a great intention - body and mind.

Enjoyed this. I'm better balanced on my left apparently. Have to work on getting out of post purposely too!
