- Chair Yoga Downward Facing Dog Days Series - More Seated, Some Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore relaxing poses for our challenge including seated straddle Side Reach series. You’ll need a chair and a yoga block (or substitute) for today’s class.
Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.
This 30 minute yoga practice is class 14 of our 30 class yoga journey together. Join us as we build our practice from the ground up. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and improve focus.
You’ll need a chair and a yoga block (or substitute). We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

Your classes have really helped me. the only problem is when we have to straight our legs out and behind the toes. I have neuropathy and artristis in my toes and feet so it is hard to bend them. but I try.
Trying is perfect! Just do what works for your body, modifying is always an option. Keep up the great work.
