Hi, Adriene! I am an 81 year old woman. I have been doing your chair yoga routine for a few days. I find that when I'm done I feel very relaxed. This routine is giving me more strength and allowing me to move better. I even breathe better. Thank you so much for this video, you have made a real difference in my life.
I am 54, but my doctor recommended this chair yoga with Adrienne due to my numerous illnesses and sedentary lifestyle. This shouldn't be called for seniors maybe newbies or easy yoga. This is great in many ways!!!! Thank you.
I'm 29 and disabled. Yoga usually causes more harm than good, but I can confirm this yoga really helped and made me feel grounded, well-stretched and invigorated!
I'm partnered via FB with a friend 2,000 miles distant. We're trying this program to challenge our sedentary life style. I'm 87; she's in her late 70s. Will try to stay with the program!
As a person with a disability I appreciate the modifications. There isn't enough yoga out there that is tailor made for people with physical challenges which is a challenge without being impossible. This is perfect. Thank you!
Have you found any other videos or channels that are good for that? I'm disabled too, and I used to love yoga but I can't do much standing up any more, hence this video.
Hey! I am a Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner and I know how important Yoga is for everyone- but it seems to complicated for many Seniors that have never done Yoga before, so they want to write it off. My Senior Citizen Dad, is having some heart issues right now and I know that beginning to connect with his breathe, with his body, stretch, relax, calm, ground, enjoy... he will begin to bring balance to his life. I am not able to be with my Dad now- but I am grateful I can send him this video, that is very similar to how I would want to give my Dad a class... with a lot of positivity and love. You are just a beautiful woman, and I love your energy. Thank-you for this minute gift- the time, and the postures are perfect to just feel a little lighter, yet grounded.
17:08 I’m 67 and been following Adrien for years now . This was the first chair yoga ever for me . The arthritis in my hands makes it super painful to do down dogs and flow when using hands for bearing weight so painful. I just loved this chair practice and found that comfortable healthful feeling of breath and movement in equanimity . Even on a Chair! Thank you Much gratitude
Day 6 of REFRESH. I am loving this daily practice that I started in January. What a beautiful way to strengthen emotionally, physically and spiritually. Thank you dear Adriene❤️
Hi Adriene, I’m a 47 year old morbidly obese disabled woman, suffering with osteoarthritis and other ailments. I used to be exceptionally fit so it’s very difficult to accept that I am in this state. I’ve had several ops on my lower limbs, ankles and knees after an injury walking and running a few years back. Ive tried in vain to partake in physio sessions on line etc but never felt any benefit. My daughter does Yoga with you each day and due to the lockdown I’ve heard your voice talking in the background. I found it so easy to listen to and so sincere. My daughter suggested I check out your sessions to see if any suitable. I have just done two of them !!! I’m doing the chair ones and hope to build up to doing the more complex ones. I feel amazing. Not felt this energised in years. I’m overwhelmed. Thank you so much. You don’t know how much you’ve helped me. Xxxx
I'm in the same situation so I'm excited to see if I can do these chair exercises. I've been in chronic back pain for 15 yrs and I recently had a fall so I've been hardly able to get out of bed.
I loved this practice. I turned 40 this year and I've been reckoning with my fading youth. This was a beautiful reminder that there will ALWAYS be options for joyful, supportive movement.
I had to modify with sitting on the mat and also standing poses since I do not have a chair this time around. Felt good to adjust. Adriene's previous instructions served me well. Refresh day 6. 549 days in a row.
Blessed Beloved William! It's great to connect with you on the virtual mat. I didn't want to bring a heavy leather chair upstairs to the loft. I made an adjustment too. I used my sturdy beauty stool. Namaste and Ase! 🦋❤🦋
Thank you for reminding me to love and appreciate my body. I will soon be 78 and I don't always remember to be grateful for all of the life events my body has seen me safely through.
Chair yoga is so good for seniors, but also for traveling, when you don't want to get down on the floor! Thank you so much Adriene. Please more chair yoga.
I thought senior yoga, thats not for me, but of course it is, I still think of myself as young in my head, even though I’m 73. Thumbs up to all you 70 years olds and dare i say it 80 year olds out there and everyone else who is a “young at heart” yogi. Thankyou, Adrienne for some interesting moves 🙏 💕
I am young at heart, but my brain 🧠says otherwise 👎to my body. There are certain things I just cannot do anymore. Like lying on the floor w/o getting dizzy ,🤪 not to mention getting up!! 🥵😄 I started one at my local rec center and there a various ages, some younger and other considerably older and bless them, I hope I can keep up with MY seniors. 💖 I love this daily practice. Thank you.🧘♀
@Jada-vz3ie , Go have your ears checked! I was getting momentarily dizzy when changing to lying down or getting up, and it turned out to be something to do with my inner ear crystals being out of place. The audiologist did a test to see how I did with some physical changes and I was "positive", so she and a helper put me through a series of movements (easy, not painful or challenging) designed to get the crystals back into place. It worked! In minutes, I walked out and haven't been dizzy since!
I also found the beginner one too hard but this one and the Gentlle Yoga for Seniors is just right. Some more like these please. I am 57, not strong or flexible and LOVING your classes. I like the way you don't hurry. Thank you so much Adriene.
this is a great practice! thanks so much. as a "32 year old" senior, who's also been practicing daily...I found this rich and beneficial! went so well with a few days ago yoga for humility. Thanks, Adriene! And way to go community!!
I am 58, overweight and have never done yoga before. I tried the beginners routines, but right now I just don't think I'm ready for floor work yet. I found this challenging enough. Hopefully one day, I will be able to move to a regular yoga practice.
Thank you so much for trhis sequence. My sister is 80 and has bad arthritis in her back and hips, but she can do this. More yoga for seniors would be awesome if you are willing. Thanks Adriene!!
Wonderful! I am doing this with my 85-year-old mother. First time she’s ever done any kind of yoga. The practice almost brought me to tears! What a blessing you are, Adrienne, and we are thankful that you have found your calling!
Apr 6, 2022 05:22 Intention : feel wonderful today When I decided to have a healthy lifestyle I choose yoga practice as my exercise routine because I know I am able to do it even until I am in my senior years. And I feel wonderful I am able to commit to the practice which changed me body, mind and soul. Thank you Adriene See you all tomorrow Namaste🙏🏼
Day 28 Renew, first time doing yoga on chair! Interesting experience! After doing yoga for nearly 4 months everyday this seemed quite easy but I realized that it is possible to help your body even when can't be mobile! Namaste!
MORE chair yoga please!! would love to see one with sun salutation.. this is not only for seniors!! I have been hooked on chair yoga for a few months and bought my own chair last week... I find this a very grounding practice and would love to see some downward dogs and planks and more, more, more!!!!!! Thanks Adrienne... you are the reason I have stuck with yoga for over a year. I usually fizzle out with my exercise regimens but you are so innovative and soothing to listen to. I wish you much love. Thank you and Namaste. G.
With today's practice I'm entering year three of daily YWA practices. It shows me that even though I'm in my thirties, I can maintain this wonderful habit for many more years to come ❤️ Namaste to all of you who are keeping me company on this incredible journey 🙏🏼
Awesome 🥰 I've dabbled with yoga most of my life from being a little girl in the 70s and finding a book at my Granny's. However I didn't make it a daily commitment until last year. I'm now encouraging my grandaughter to practice daily, as if there is one piece of advice I could give anyone it would be to start early enough to already have that strength and flexibility as well as mindset before you get to an age where you need it. I don't believe in regret but if I did this would be my only one 💞
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK! My grandma is suffering from Dementia and her doctors are encouraging her to do yoga, but she is too nervous to go to the gym. Now I can do the videos with her at home where she's comfortable :).
@@missellendiane Try BLACK SEED OIL. Clinical studies show it can cure Alzheimers, as well as Cancer, Addiction, Hormonal Imbalance..... EVERYTHING..... It brings STRENGTH to both Body and Mind.. You need a quality brand like Sweet Sunnah. I could go on and on and on about the Miracles of Black Seed. Everyone should take it, every day for their life, unlike many herbal 'treatments', which need to be rotated and the body rested between courses. Good Luck!!! XOX
After seeing the title in April 2021 calendar, for a hot minute I thought it was gonna be 17 minutes of chair pose and was, like, I am NOT excited. But this.. this was nice and gentle. Kept smiling throughout.
78 years old, both hips replaced. A brand new year and this will be a brand new ME! My sincere thanks to Adriene for guiding me through my very first yoga session. I will be back!
July 2023 hi, I always did your regular on line class, then broke my femur in a fall, this chair yoga is ideal to strengthen my body and granularly get back into yoga….thank you so much and looking forward to joining you every day…..I’m 78 years old.
Although this is intended for seniors! I’m a 21 year old guy and work at a desk job in a hospital and this gave me a extra boost for sitting for 8 hours! Thanks Adriene!
I am so happy to have given this class a chance! I really wanted to use my rug today, but I followed my heart and trusted Adrienne. This was wonderful and made me humble again. Yoga for all ages is so important! Thank you Adrienne 💛
After having 3 surgeries in 2 years, I found myself at 200lbs and totally sedentary, I didn't know how to even start to move. Your videos are perfect and I am gaining momentum. Thank you!
Thank you. This is great not only for seniors but also those who are recovering from lower body injuries/surgeries, etc.. I just had my third ankle surgery and really enjoy this.
Refresh April 2022, and still loving every single day of it. This may have been called chair yoga, yoga for the elderly….but at 37 years old, this was as soothing and enjoyable as any of the other wonderful sessions. If anything, I had a straighter back and stronger in warrior pose in a chair than ‘normally’. Awesome. Thank you.
@@zuriwilson-seymore8939 hello there! Yes I think I've seen your name on here before (similar to mine!). Lovely to think others practice at same time x
Adriene I can't even put into words how special this practice is 🙏🏻 my partner is mentally disabled & has mobility issues. He always loves listening to you when I'm doing yoga but taking part isn't possible for him....until now! This is perfect & the timing couldn't be better 🥰 I'm going to get him to try it out tonight. He needs some calmness right now & I think this will help 💜
I’m a college student and my dorm space is pretty small without room for my yoga mat so I figure I’d give this a try and mannnn it feels so good to get a good stretch! Thank you 🙏🏽
I am 62 and was recommended to try Senior Chair Yogo from my VA Health Coordinator physician. I have only tried a few but watched many of them. I found Adriene to be my favorite. I can do many or her stretches even with my limitations. I just wanted to thank Adriene.
I really appreciated this on a new level. I never practiced this session before and did it today to catch up on Renew 2021. This made me think about alot of reasons why doing yoga is so important for all. Adapting poses to fit people who are unable to move flexibly, is such an inclusive and living shout-out. 💚🙏🏻
I am 65 years old and this was my first experience with yoga. Thank you for making it so I feel like I can do this and I did. Your teaching gave me a lot of hope. Thanks again! Blessings my friend!
Just found you Adriene, I am 56 yrs old and had to start moving again. I am primary caregiver to my 89 yr old Mom with Dementia so unable to leave her alone to go to classes. My Husband just renovated our basement to give me an exercise room/ craft room. Did your beginner video 3 days ago and then the day 1 of the 30 day yoga...couldn't finish day 2😢 but found this chair yoga for seniors and did that instead...LOVE IT. Going to look for more chair yoga videos by you. Thank you so much for giving me a reason to exercise again...feels soooo good❤🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
This was a whole new experience for me. I love the chair as a prop. I felt so stable and confident. This was one of my the most favourite exercises. Thank you, Adriene. You're doing an awesome job, day by day.
I'm not a senior, but recently injured my foot which stopped my yoga practice in its tracks! I'm finally feeling up to some very gentle yoga again (off my foot) and this was so perfect. Namaste, Adriene ❤
I have to admit at first I was thinking "Why should I do yoga for seniors? I am no senior!" but when I did it, it was marvelous. What a wonderful practice. I could totally see me doing it with my grandma or mother, but alas, the former is no longer on this earth and the latter I had to cut ties with. It's a bummer and quite upsetting tbh. I hope there will be more accessible practices like this in the future either way so that older and or physically limited yogis can participate :) (Of course you can always modify the other practices, but I thought it was nice that this is the other way round!)
Oh my god, I had the EXACT same thought process : be reluctant because I'm not a senior, then enjoy it, then imagining doing it with my grandma. I'm sure you'll find people in your life, related or not, that will love to practice with you :) Namaste !
Thank you so much, Adrienne. Your chair yoga class never gets old. I find it so helpful. I broke my back last year and this has been such a wonderful stretch for me...and relaxing.
I’m an RN at a skilled nursing facility. I’ll have to modify A LOT, but I’m excited to use ideas from this when I bring chair yoga to my residents next Sunday
Adriene does a magnificent job helping to reduce my hip pain, and get my day off to a meaningful, calm, centered start. At 76 years "young" this routine is perfect for me. Thank you Adriene.
I tried 2 of your other practices, the one for beginners, but found it too difficult. I have artificial knees and it's just too much. I didn't want to give up because my heart says "try yoga, try yoga". I finished this one just now, I'm proud of myself that I did it. I will do it again and again because I want to be "well". I'm overweight and 59 years old, this video will get me started. Thank you so much for having this available. God bless.
God Bless You If My Yoga Instructor Was here from The Citrus Memorial Hosptial YMCA of Citrus County She would say to do what you can. Take it easy. Do what you can and also share with your mom the same thing there were various in my class with the same situation as you and I I am on a wheel chair but through the Grace of God I gradually do what I can and I accomplish a lot God Bless You I Pray I helped Amen!
Thanks for sharing Deborah- I notice that this post was approx 1 year ago. Currently during COVID19 - this was my first time doing this one- like you, similar age and weigh, way more than I like - love Adrienne's modifications and encouragement - like you, it went well for me and I think this will become a go to practice for me.
I love everything about chair yoga with Adriene. Her voice, her compassion, her encourage ment, her kindness, and the practice! It's just what I've been wanting. Thank You Adriene!
Having just hurt my knee in a bad fall, I was really bummed being told to put the yoga challenge on hold until I recover by my doctor. I was telling hubby how sad I was about it and he said to me, 'I bet Adriene has a video or that.' And you do!!! This will also help with my son with autism who gained a lot of weight in the past two years. Works perfectly with his school fitness plan. You are awesome, Adriene.
Adrienne, thank you for this video! I am 71 and have had both knees replaced with a 3 month time frame. I want and need to exercise. You voice and movements are so calming! I am ready for chair yoga! Thanks again!
This practice has been a saving grace. I was really bummed when I tore my proximal hamstring tendon. I did yoga every single day (I was on day 90). I still miss my usual practices but I'm so grateful for this while my hamstring recovers!
Thank you Adrienne for making it so easy to get back into yoga. I'm 58, and I'm always on the lookout for ways to strengthen my body without causing injury. I found out I can regain mobility I thought was lost. Please do more chair yoga. - Ge
I really liked this practice. I accidentally ended up hurting my lower back at a previous yoga practice and i now can bearly move. But this felt really amazing and i could almost do all the positions
A very humbling practice today. Wasn't feeling the best about myself and would've loved a hard-hitting fully body/core workout, but needed to trust the April 2021 journey and give my body a break. Beautiful practice for everyone and every body!
Hello! I have been enjoying your videos for a year or so now. You are a terrific teacher! Mom (78 years young) and I are traveling and didn't bring our yoga mats. We have been missing our daily yoga, but just remembered chair yoga and were so pleased to find that you have a great session of it! it was a great way to start our day. Chair yoga can be travel yoga!! Thanks for being AMAZING!!
I'm 57 and also overweight; and I found this a challenge (which was a bit of a shock to me!) - but it's a *great* challenge, and I know that little and often with Adriene is going to reap so many rewards: mind, body, spirit - and waistline!
How is hair Yoga, etc working out for you..? My wife and Daughter do a lot of yoga’s.. etc..... I just dabble to keep I shape more,,:: though I am an Ostamate, and 73:: need to do for sure ....
Badly twisted my ankle 5 days ago and slowly easing back into yoga practice. Not able to put a lot of weight on the ankle but with the help of the chair was able to ‘ sit it all out’ haha. Also my ribs hurt from the fall I made so keeping my self upright whilst breathing deep really helps me a lot. Also helps me accepting my injury and not cursing myself for it. I recommend everyone who ‘stumbled’ upon this practice without much former yoga experience, to seek out Adriene’s other classes on TH-cam especially the Foundations. It changed my 50+ life. Really. 💕
Thank you Adriene for this class. Ive been in lock down for 11months now and have deteriorated physically and mentally. I started doing this class three days ago. I would love more chair yoga sessions like this please!?
Thank you for this offering. I am a psychotherapist and lead chair yoga for my clients in my office, which is seated in a chair. In addition, as a yoga teacher, I instruct clients who have some physical limitations. Thank you for bringing this video to the masses!
I'm glad you approve. Lol. My brother in law is a psychologist. I've been sick for many years (I'm 31. Sick since 23) he recently told me I should try a psychotherapist. Didn't know it existed).
Hi, my name is Donna. I’m 68 yrs old! I’ve been doing this chair yoga sequence for almost 3 months and have only missed 1 day. This program has been instrumental in making large changes in my life. I’ve also begun Noom, a life style and wt loss program. I’m walking about 2 miles a day. The yoga has been and continues to be my base. Thank you for providing this chair yoga sequence for all of us! Namaste ❤️
I had never done this one. Seems simple but occasionallly you are reminded that you are doing a yoga sequence. Do not be discouraged. Enjoy! Renew day 28. 206 days in a row.
Thanks so much. I have done yoga for more than 20 years, but injured my glute last April and stopped yoga. My physio recommended chair yoga and this did not make it worse. Lovely 17 minutes and will watch again.
I'm so grateful for this practice Adriene. I'm 6 montsh post double knee replacement and your gentle instruction and permission to go slow is really helping me to return some movement to a very sore body... thank you xx
Thank you so much for this video. I am not a senior, but I am obese. Chair yoga is a wonderful starting point for me to work on increasing my mobility and flexibility.
Thank you so much for this practice Adriene🙏🏼 I’m recovering from a knee injury this is my third week and this practice helped me reconnect with my body, listen to it and be grateful for how amazing it is. Youre the best!!
I love they way you think of everyone! I've been waiting for a series on kids' yoga. I am really eager to engage my children in the awesome practice of yoga with Adriene.
THANK YOU! I never knew you could do yoga without pain! I'd been doing yoga for 7 years, but I have painful arthritis, and sitting cross-legged is so painful that I quit. I tried your Beginner's Yoga to get back into it, liked it, but my knees protested. This is much easier on my body. Thanks for making this available.
Renew Day 28: My take-away from this practice is that even when I'm sitting in a chair there are stretches I can do. I was surprised to find that there's even a warrior pose in chair yoga!
The supported warrior pose was AWESOME!! It made me actually feel a lot better about doing yoga even though I've dealt with things like knee injuries! This can still be for me!
These yoga exercises are great!! I am almost 70 years old and overweight. This is my 3rd week doing them and I feel so much flexible and energized!! Thank you so much!! Will see you everyday!!
I once attended a class where we did chair yoga one week and then repeated the sequences without chairs the next - it was an interesting experience going from support to supporting yourself. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much Adrienne. I'm 74 and very inflexible. I am now trying out your chair Yoga and after the first lesson, I'm very happy with the result. I will never be able to sit cross legged again without my knees reaching for the sky, but it may get a little less painful. Thanks again for your service to the community. Cheers
I have to mention how this video helped me. I used to cycle 100 or more miles a week (indoors and outdoors). Suddenly I was hit with what doctors called a back problem. I was unable to bike or even walk without pain. This went on for almost three years. During that time I discovered your videos. I would do this one almost every day until finely my condition worsened to the point I was barely walking. Two hip replacements later I’m back doing this workout. I credit your videos with keeping me from losing it during the bad times. I’m working to get back on the bike. I still use this video for a cool down. Thanks for producing your videos. I’m sure they have helped many people.
This is my first time doing a chair practice and it’s made me look at things a little differently. It’s cool to think about how many opportunities there are to do little bits of yoga throughout the day that I’ve missed.
I'm visiting my octogenarian parents who live 1800 miles away from me, and Mom overheard the Yoga Camp video that I was practicing with several days ago. She used to be super athletic and active but has slowed down since the pandemic (her gym closed for 2 years, Dad became completely dependent, she had a fall or two that scared her, and hard things like that.). She said "oh that sounds wonderful! Can you email me one of her videos so I can try it on my Ipad?" So I went to the FWFG Kula and posed the question to my Homies there, since Mom is scared to get on the floor now (and no one is usually here to help her up if she gets stuck there). The group gave me several wonderful suggestions and I'm super grateful! This is the first on she tried (today and with me) and she enjoyed it. Dad even told us afterwards that he was doing the breathing parts in his wheelchair in the next room! So THANK YOU! I hope Mom keeps practicing. Adriene, you're an angel for making this one, and please make more for elderly folks with limited mobility (in your free time...hahaha, jk)! It would be amazing. You're really the best one out there in Online Yogaland. Thank you so so much for making so many of our lives so much better and more full of love and joy (and air! and stretches!). We love you, Sister. ❤️ Peace and happiness and great health to you.
OMG!! This is exactly what i was looking for my parents.. I've been following you for months now and my parents are too old to do the regular asanas..i just thought a couple of days ago that i wish Adriene did a senior yoga..and there u are..thanks a tonne..lots of love and gratitude Ps.pardon my English as i am not a native speaker
Thank you so much for this. As an older person with stiff hips and bad knees this and your other senior yoga classes, are my go too for early morning stretching.
Practicing today as a part of RENEW 2021. I was doubtful I would get much out of chair yoga but gave it a try. As usual, Adriene kicked my butt, even in a chair. I guess a little really does go a long way... After the practice I was inspired to freestyle, which I have never done before. It was exciting -truly the definition of find what feels good. I feel like I’m getting there. ☺️ Namaste everyone and have a fabulous day!
Chair seated yoga is all I can do for the next 6 weeks .As last week I broke my right ankle. So frustrating I can't do my usual practise with Adrienne. Hopefully this will keep me going till it heals
As a senior I have very little flexibility and a bad back. I just started Chair yoga -yoga for seniors in the hope that it will help my back issues. I then hope to move on to other exercise videos with Adriene
I wanted to skip doing yog today then thought about doing chair yoga Ive never done it before and I'm so surprised of how much I loved it it was so calming and gentle so glad I did it thank you so much
I completed this practice with my 76 years old granny who suffers from pain in her legs and difficult to walk, and it makes really good for her. So, I would like to suggest you to post more yoga classes like that, because this would be really great for people like my granny. I always watch your videos and your classes have been really good also for me me. Kisses from São Paulo, Brazil. 😘

Hello Claire, how are you doing?
I thought senior yoga, thats not for me, but of course it is, I still think of myself as young in my head, even though I’m 73. Thumbs up to all you 70 years olds and dare i say it 80 year olds out there and everyone else who is a “young at heart” yogi. Thankyou, Adrienne for some interesting moves 🙏 💕
This made me smile ☺️ Age is just a number! Namaste 💛
Thank you.🧘♀
@@Jada-vz3ie keep at it, it will get easier, well done to you🫶💕
@Jada-vz3ie ,
Go have your ears checked!
Wonderful! Namaste
I also found the beginner one too hard but this one and the Gentlle Yoga for Seniors is just right. Some more like these please. I am 57, not strong or flexible and LOVING your classes. I like the way you don't hurry. Thank you so much Adriene.
Called yoga
this is a great practice! thanks so much. as a "32 year old" senior, who's also been practicing daily...I found this rich and beneficial! went so well with a few days ago yoga for humility. Thanks, Adriene! And way to go community!!
Dirty feet please use mat lol 😂
I am 58, overweight and have never done yoga before. I tried the beginners routines, but right now I just don't think I'm ready for floor work yet. I found this challenging enough. Hopefully one day, I will be able to move to a regular yoga practice.
I’m 76 and instead of being depressed and feeling sorry for myself because I’m old now. I looked for a program I can do. I found you. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for trhis sequence. My sister is 80 and has bad arthritis in her back and hips, but she can do this. More yoga for seniors would be awesome if you are willing. Thanks Adriene!!
I am 81 with a bad back and COPD. I think I will continue with this. Thanks.
Very hard to find good chair yoga tubes. I love Adriennes but keep doing it over and over. Would love it if she did more🙏
Wonderful! I am doing this with my 85-year-old mother. First time she’s ever done any kind of yoga. The practice almost brought me to tears! What a blessing you are, Adrienne, and we are thankful that you have found your calling!

Intention : feel wonderful today
When I decided to have a healthy lifestyle I choose yoga practice as my exercise routine because I know I am able to do it even until I am in my senior years. And I feel wonderful I am able to commit to the practice which changed me body, mind and soul.
Thank you Adriene
See you all tomorrow
Namaste🙏🏼
Greetings SophieAnne! It's nice to see you on the virtual mat again. That's a great intention. Namaste and Ase! 🦋❤️🦋

Perfect!
my dad is traversing down dementia drive- esp since my mom died in April- anything to get the blood flowing will be beneficial-

Hello Helen, how are you doing?
My first chair yoga class. I did yoga regularly over 100 lbs. and 40 years ago as a college student. This is a wonderful reintroduction. I'll be back.
Awesome. Thank you.
Hi 👋🏾 Rona! Nice it's nice to meet another yogi on the Refresh Journey! I also felt soothed after the session. Best wishes! Namaste and Ase! 🦋♥️🦋

So beautiful. Thank you so sharing this Shelly!
Hello Amy, how are you doing?
I am 65 years old and this was my first experience with yoga. Thank you for making it so I feel like I can do this and I did. Your teaching gave me a lot of hope. Thanks again! Blessings my friend!
I am recovering from total knee joint replacement here in New Zealand and found this video awesome. Thank you
May you have a speedy recovery!
Who knew warrior 2 and forward fold on a chair could feel so good? Thanks Adrienne. 🙏
I am 82 years old and today started Chair Yoga on line with Adriene. WOW I feel good after just one lesson. I live in Sydney Australia
God bless.
My mom is in the same boat as you. I'm gonna show her this comment. Godbless ans I hope your doing well
Congrats! Progress not perfection!
God Bless You If My Yoga Instructor Was here from The Citrus Memorial Hosptial YMCA of Citrus County She would say to do what you can. Take it easy.
Thank you
A very humbling practice today.
You are the best for me! I finally found what I was looking for. I' 65 years old, I'm overweight and quarantined. Your class is hard but I can do it !
I tried it again today. I'm 60 years old and really want to do yoga. My motto is Progress not Perfection. Good luck to you on your journey..
I'm 57 and also overweight; and I found this a challenge (which was a bit of a shock to me!) - but it's a *great* challenge, and I know that little and often with Adriene is going to reap so many rewards: mind, body, spirit - and waistline!

Really. 💕
sent it to my mum in Poland, she needs a bit of stretching after stroke. Thank you Adriene x

I had never done this one. Seems simple but occasionallly you are reminded that you are doing a yoga sequence. Do not be discouraged. Enjoy!
Renew day 28. 206 days in a row.
Agreed, I didn’t think I’d enjoy this practice, and I did. I’m glad I stayed open to it.
Thanks so much. I have done yoga for more than 20 years, but injured my glute last April and stopped yoga. My physio recommended chair yoga and this did not make it worse. Lovely 17 minutes and will watch again.

Thank you Adriene! I recently had foot surgery so this practice was a great one to start back on. ✌🏼️
Thank you, Adriene. I really enjoyed this yoga practice. it's just right for a 64-year old that finds being on the floor difficult.
