One thing you left out is to also turn off certain pop-up notifications to prevent it from appearing on screen, even while watching Netflix or YT. The only thing I turned off is the group posts. Whenever I try to look at a game's objective and such, I kept getting notifications of community post in a group I'm in for almost every few minutes
Great suggestion! This is something I mentioned in a "Change These Settings Video" as well as some other videos. There is a disable notifications whilst playing video setting to prevent the Netflix issues too :)

So with an SSD upgrade on my pro The Witcher 3 was loading in about 1:25 seconds. After disabling what you listed here it drops to a hair under 1:20. It really did help. 5 seconds is a respectable amount to shave off. Menu also seems a bit more snappier. Thanks man, this whole time I had no idea.
I actually like to keep my vibration on cuz it helps me keep track of the recoil and helps me aim better it’s like the controller is moving with the gun
you can actually fully disable the controller’s light bar by dismantling the controller and disconnecting the ribbon cable from the light bar. huge difference in controller life

@@mojo9244 think he was on about VR, there are a few games that use the lightbar tho, think playroom is one. Cover up the lightbar with black tape, and try one of the games using lightbar tracking and you'll see that the lights are tracked. Same reason the VR has lights on and doesn't work in daylight. Needs to track the lights
@@mojo9244 yeah. Without the light, it has no idea. Try astro bot with a black sticker over the controller and it's impossible. It doesn't get tracked at all.
Vibration is completely unnecessary and having it off helps your aim and control so much. I took the rumble motors out of both my rollers and they feel so much better and lighter I will be doing the same thing to the duel sense when I upgrade to a ps5 taking out the adaptive triggers and motors a controller rumble or trigger pull does not make me feel more emerged into the game it’s a distraction over everything just my personal opinion If you haven’t tried it turned off I would def give it a shot
If you want to keep them on then do :) It is a personal preference after all. For example, I love the haptics available on PS5, so I keep them on for the PS5, but vibrations are off on my PS4

Boost mode is only on the PS4 Pro. It's there so that the Pro can take advantage of the more powerful hardware on games that might not be optimised for it.

I currently have an old PS4 Slim 500GB. I also have a 2020 Hisense 4K TV 60Hz with Dolby Vision & HDR10+ compliant with has a "gaming mode" that supposedly enhance the picture when playing. My question is: is it worth getting the PS4 Pro now? Or just get the PS5 to enjoy full 4K gaming?
When a butterfly miles away flutters it's wings the PS4 will just start skipping forward on streaming and the Blu Ray. Is there a way to change this, or assign the d pad instead. I looked for a remote, but apparently they are all a scam and you can no longer purchase the official one. Or if you know where they sell official ones that would be great as well. Sorry this is so long.

I changed my PSN two times. Once free and one time I paid. I have so far experienced 0 problems with the change. If there are any issues, you can contact PS support, they revert you back to your old PSN and it is all fixed :)

please note: that this disables your controller’s ability to charge. which ultimately defeats the purpose of reducing the consumption of electricity

I use to have my controller at dim and YES it really really helps but at least for me, it seems bright does boost the motion controls for games.
Yeah the lightbar is whats tracked so if its brighter that helps :) But battery life is killed.
