All you need is to backup your data from settings and make sure your ssd is installable before you buy it then install it 😊, I installed Kingston a400 960GB and it worked fine

You can also mod games using a jailbroken ps4 or ps5. For TLOU2, you can kill Abby at the beach. For Days gone, you can kill the samwil horde or iron butte horde by just 1 shot...... Etc etc.
It’s everything that the jailbreak on others is. The only thing is, you either need something like a luckfox, or a router or just a pc to enable the jailbreak everytime you boot your ps4. Which honestly isn’t much.
@@zureai they’re all the same once jailbroken. Different methods of how to implement the jailbreak. I prefer the 9.0 over the 11. Some people prefer the earlier firmwares over 9.0. Once jailbroken they all can do the same stuff if I understand correctly
not really worth buying if you have a pc. most ps4 games are already on pc with more exclusives coming everyday since sony wants to move alot of there old exclusives over to pc and they are easy to get for free on PC if you know where to look.

All consoles with trophy/achievement support also have them when jailbroken. I get achievements and trophies on my PS3, PS Vita, PS4 Pro and Xbox 360 and they're all hacked.

@@stevestars2966 The only console where you can get banned for this is the 360 so you can not go to Xbox Live at all. Though you don't need it to get achievements. The PS3 won't ban you unless you use cheats in online games, no one gets banned for CFW lol, same with the Vita. And on PS4 you're not even online because you're on older firmware. The trophies come with the games so they can unlock by just playing fully offline but you can't get trophies that need you to go to multiplayer unless you edit your save file.

Hey 👋 So i have this issue that happened to me twice now, basically i lost all of my save files. The first time it happened was when I put my ps4 in restmode, later when i opened my game i noticed that none of my saves were available to load. The second time the issue occurred when i booted my ps4 after a crash and a data reubuild screen. I remember trying to rebuild the database with itemzflow,i think , But it didn’t work. I would really appreciate a video that could help me with the problem and how i can prevent it from happening again. I started to copy my saves to a usb via Apollo save tool but this is no long term solution, very annoying if you always have to backup saves before shutting down the system + crashes are unpredictable. I'm pretty sure that that's possible (mostly). Using a RasPi or LuckFox Pico, you can set it up such that it re-runs the jailbreak on boot automatically. If you can solder, you can even set up a LuckFox internally. Check the PS4 11.00 playlist on his channel for info. Only issue is that it may take a few minutes
EXCELLLENT explanation M-W. Would it be possible to clone the 1tb hard drive to ssd. install the ssd into the ps4 play FPG. Turn off the PS4 so it reverts back to original firmware. Install 1tb HDD. Turn on ps4 (in original firmware) put in a game disk lets say call of duty. Then play online. Is that possible??
i was looking for a ps4 pro, but whichever rason i only found ps4 fat o slim on second hand jailbrteak it or with a low firmware... the ps4 pro have a high than 11.0 base firmware? i guess i could just buy one , maybe the gow one and wait.
My ps4 pro still had version 7.55 and I think it was even lower at some point. It's just more rare since the pro is newer and people tend to use it and update it. I bought the ps4 pro with the intention to not update it (I couldn't use it that much which wasn't a problem). If you have the money it's probably smart to buy a console at release and not open it.

My question i understand y i should update my firmware to 6.72 but what r the benefits to updating to 9.00 when from what i understood you had to have a permanent USB drive to enact the jailbreak everytime you turn your PS4 on? Can you link us all to those if you get a minute? Thanks. Love the tutorials, those were the ones I followed to jailbreak 3 PS4s at this point as well as get Fedora 38 on one of them.
8:20 A caveat for running linux, correct me if i'm wrong, some ps4 consoles will not have their wifi and bluetooth chips work on linux. So you may need to have an ethernet connection to connect to the internet, and wired gamepad connection, if you mostly use gamepad for games. I haven't tried other distros besides psxitarch though, so please let me know if some distros work with any ps4 wifi/bluetooth chip.

Dont update, stay on 9.0, i think you just have to load the newest jailbreak, because those change over time also, i have cheats etc, not sure about mods
Funny thing about modding/jailbreaking is that all these consoles nds,Wii,switch,PlayStation all of them are like mini computers and they have build in features which support the jailbreak you just have to install them but the creators obviously didn’t want you to do it.😂

Just use an external drive, the SATAII in the PS4 runs through the USB bus so there's no bottleneck

My ps4 pro still had version 7.55 and I think it was even lower at some point. It's just more rare since the pro is newer and people tend to use it and update it.
I bought the ps4 pro with the intention to not update it (I couldn't use it that much which wasn't a problem).
If you have the money it's probably smart to buy a console at release and not open it.
Only offline trainers is what keeps me using the PS4 Pro still. Until such time, the PS5 will stay in the box.

Waiting for the 11.02 Jailbreak, then any single player PS4 game I'll play on there rather than purchasing them for the ps5 like I usually do 😉

I'm mainly gaming on my ps5 these days, but still have an old firmware PS4 laying around waiting to be jailbroken, mainly for creating a retroarch kind of set-up on it. Are there any good front-ends on it, like the wii has wiiflow for showing all the games or coinops?

Does RPC3 work on Linux on PS4? I'd love to be able to play GTA 4. A video about you trying all linux gaming on PS4 would be a blast, maybe even trying Wii U emulation with games such as Zelda BOTW, or Switch emulation, PS3, and so on and so forth
MODDED WARFARE my question is i have 2 PS4 Pros both firmware at 4.86. My question i understand y i should update my firmware to 6.72 but what r the benefits to updating to 9.00 when from what i understood you had to have a permanent USB drive to enact the jailbreak everytime you turn your PS4 on? So I guess my question is why update to 9.00 or even 11.00 if there seems to not be a upside in updating firmware? My reasoning for jailbreaking is the be able to put my PS4 disc games on my PS4 Pro and move them to a external hard drive so that i wont fill up my PS4 hhd? I will be using it just 4 that JB PS4 pro. My other question is i want to be able to download games, patches and DLCs so is there really a benefit to going to a higher firmware? Sorry for the long post I'm a noob love the channel I've been watching for a few years thanks for any advice you could give.

8:20 A caveat for running linux, correct me if i'm wrong, some ps4 consoles will not have their wifi and bluetooth chips work on linux. So you may need to have an ethernet connection to connect to the internet, and wired gamepad connection, if you mostly use gamepad for games. I haven't tried other distros besides psxitarch though, so please let me know if some distros work with any ps4 wifi/bluetooth chip.

Dont update, stay on 9.0, i think you just have to load the newest jailbreak, because those change over time also, i have cheats etc, not sure about mods

Funny thing about modding/jailbreaking is that all these consoles nds,Wii,switch,PlayStation all of them are like mini computers and they have build in features which support the jailbreak you just have to install them but the creators obviously didn’t want you to do it.😂
