Glad your hand is on the mend mate. I'm a pro installer working n living in southern Spain. Been fitting film since 1989. I had carpul tunnel opp on both hands. The left hand left me with severe nerve damage. Took 3 years for the correction opp. I lost all confidence in tinting as I couldn't feel the film in my left hand. Back on the tools again. Happy days.
Hey Max, Glad you're doing well now. I'm a big fan of your work and it's actually inspired me to start my own business in Houston. I'm looking for work now that I've acquired all my tools and a established a good relationship with my film distributor in town. Now i've got a few reps in applying tint by doing family members homes. Do you have recommendations on how to get clients in the community? I'm pretty much going door to door in shopping strips.
Great videos Max.... if you don't mind me asking what tank and compressor would you recommend? I mostly do vinyl, but I do have a pretty large tint job coming up and was thinking about upgrading from the manual pump canisters to something more efficient. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
@@82daisymae I personally run a tank and I’m gonna walk air compressor. I stored in my bag and turn on the compressor as needed usually filling into about 60 to 90 PSI. I’ve been running this for probably six years now never an issue. definitely beats the hand pressure pumps down.
What tint are you using? Is it ceramic? And how do you respond to people that say tinting the inside of the window on a dual -pane will cause failure, due to heat buildup from the tint?
a lot of people are budget-minded, and in our experience, we've seen that dual reflective window film typically meets the top three criteria: heat, privacy, and clarity. Reflective window films have very low heat absorption, reducing the risk of window damage.
Question: adhesive vs static cling They both works inters of functionality? I felt like adhesive ones are for pros and DYI would be better with static cling?

Most times laminated glass that’s a annealed
Why do you use the big trim guide versus a hard card?
