This has gotta be one of the hardest working bands this year. From Houston, to Miami, and now Memphis.. Credit these students for all the hard work they are putting in to represent their university.

I just came here after watching the Ohio State University’s marching band doing their Blockbuster Movies performance. It was _AMAZING!_
There aint nothing like an HBCU. Our culture will never be duplicated. Just amazing!
We have a problem with other ethnic groups always duplicating our stuff and they are on our campuses now..so please explain that.. our culture has already been infiltrated and disrespected and many Black American males didn't make an effort to stop allowing it.

The formations were Awesome!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎶 I can’t begin to imagine how challenging it must be to walk, breath, March and dance While playing an Instrument!!!! My hat is off to the band and Sounding Fabulous I must say! Jsettes on point, love it all🥰🥰
I did it for 4yrs myself. Our band was amazing and we practiced 5 days a week 4 hours. Most bands have section leaders and each section practices on their own. There is a field sheet that has all the markers and counts to step in time to the music.....its alot...lol....but I loved every minute of it!!!

I march tuba at West Chester University and it's so cool to see how y'all march, different things are prioritized but it's still marching band, and damn what a band it is.
I'm from Jackson, went to Jackson State in the 80s. I went to every home game. I haven't seen a performance since moving to OH in 87. The Sonic Boom of The South is still the truth!

I love marching bands. Participated in junior and senior high-school 1963-69. Baton twirled, too. I have always wished the NFL super bowl halftime would feature one of these amazing bands instead of those creepy rock show disasters.

It's always absolutely captivating watching an HBCU marching band. They put so much passion and soul into each performace, not to mention their drill is always great. And I've never even seen drum majors do anything like this in my years in marching band.

I'm a life long FAMU Fan, I just think it's great for HBCU bands to still going strong. In parts of Florida band & other programs have been decimated by local school boards. My high school band had over 150 musicians not counting auxiliary, they changed the school and you're lucky to have 50 members total.
Whoever choreographed the band forming the letters deserves a raise.

I have to agree with this. This takes away from the quality of the sound of the band and just makes noise. The Boom is one of my 4 favs.

The rapper was good in the movie drum line, but in this case you couldn’t hear this rapper and it seems he wasn’t rapping with the music. JSU and HBCUs bands are amazing!

JSU has never disappointed me. I miss going up there years back to the battle of the bands taking my kids and everyone enjoyed it all the time. The three hours it took to get there was worth it and then some. Hopefully one day we will enjoy that experience again once things settle back down.. praying for it to do so and the city can be that place of what it's capable of being without the nonsense. We must all do better

I truly enjoyed listening and watching the whole show!!!!! I saw professionals entertaining their audience with dignity, respect and pride for their school. The dancers were fun to watch and I could see they had talent , felt comfortable in their uniforms and were having fun. I truly enjoyed the band performance especially how they moved into their different formation! I know they put in a lot of practice🤩😓
