What a love road to ride it looks fantastic, just pottering about nothing on the roads lovely. Fantastic little old village . Keep you fit all those gates 😂. One of the best rides i have seen, thanks for taking us on it.
What more could you want in life, a full belly then one and half hours of pottering along a road in the most stunning scenery. Yer lucky bugger….🤣 We really enjoyed this ride out. Thank you Dave. Take care
Dave, your motorbike cafes are far better than anything roundabout where I live and ride. And if the wasps are partial to the coffee there, it must be grand coffee indeed! 😂 What a beautiful ride.
Had a holiday when I was a nipper and stayed at casterton , probably in the 70’s , remember my old man and uncle played golf (very badly 😅) and I remember going to devils bridge and was mesmerised seeing all the bikes there, great memories and possibly where my love of motorbikes started. On another note! What are those gloves/gauntlets you have Dave and whereabouts would I get a pair please? They look great.
Hi Ivor, I got the gloves from Goldtop. They are the Marino wool lined and are brilliant. In summer they kept me cool and now toasty warm. They have them on offer at the moment on the website. Stay safe mate, Dave
Watching this on a cold, windy, wet November day. I just wrapped my bikes up for the winter. It’s going to be a long few months before we can ride amongst countryside like that again 😕
Lovely summer ride with delightful views, Dave, but I reckon parts of that'd be really bleak in the depths of winter! I too wouldn't have worried about the wasp; it wouldn't have drunk much. Guess it didn't want to waste time being in the long queue, either! 😁
@ I’m more of a fair weather rider Dave, so was thinking of giving a review in the cave of the bikes? Bit nippy for me now😂 keep an eye out. What do you think? Just to keep my hand in
@@triumphbikerman it is a bit nippy, we closed the windows at home this week 😂 defo go for it with a film from the cave, i have some plans to do the same soon
Absolutely beautiful ride Dave. That car down off the road is on Google maps, dated September 2024, so the camera car must have been there a similar time to you.
I love this channel, videos have a special quality of calmness. I'd like to explore those little beautiful country roads in the Yorkshire at a slow pace just like you, Dave. But there is something quite disturbing, in my opinion: too many interruptions for too many ads. I follow quite a few youtube. channels, and my preferite are the ones who are ads free. Hope yours will be one of those.
great vid, thanks. I travel these roads often, they're some of my favourites, and next time you're in the area, you gotta try the road up dentdale to cowgill, then past dent station over the top to garsdale head, it's fab in either direction, but no gates lol
Hi I did that route in April this year opposite way to you... those gates going down where a tad awkward no park brake on my vstrom 650...😂😂that vw golf was there when I did it ....brilliant ride....ps next time I'll do it on my himalayan .....cracking vid....
One of my favourite roads over the tops down into Dent, rather than turn right outside Dent over the bridge, I prefer to carry on along the beautiful Dentdale road 👍. By the way, just the perfect flog to cheer us up with this awful weather we are having at the moment 👍🏍.
“Oh England, my Lionhearted” What beautiful lands we live on! Thank you Dave!

Wow, what perfect roads to explore and the perfect bike for it! Thanks for sharing, stay safe!
Ah you chose well heading off into the Barbon area Dave. A favourite on a day such as yours.

Couldn't agree more! Ride safe, Dave

Beautiful roads!

@ thanks Dave I’ll have a look, see you about when weather picks up 👍🏍️
@ Dave do they have a press stud fastener on them?
The ones I see on the site are red fleece lined!
@@thatblokeonamotorbike ignore my last message Dave! I’ve found the Marino wool lined ones now, thanks 🙏
