Thanks for this Dave; brought back memories for me, as I last went over Snake Pass back in 1966. That was going east from Glossop, in the days before the motorway, so it carried a fair bit of traffic then.
Hi Dave, looks like a good road that. No surprises to the country of origin of the car driven by an impatient person. It always seems to be Audi, BMW or Mercedes drivers who can't wait to get past even if you are doing the legal speed limit. What is wrong with those people when on nice roads, take in the scenery and chill.
Thank You once again Dave for a great video. Looking forward to the New Tea-Time Slot. Apologies if I missed something in a previous video, but please can you tell me what make of gloves you are wearing in this episode. They are just what I am looking for. Thank you in anticipation. 👍
Hi, the gloves are from GoldTop, they are Marini wool lined and really combatable, warm in winter and cool in summer. I will be doing a mention of them in one of the first tea Time Tuesdays. Filming is underway so should be just after Christmas. Ride safe, Dave
There is a good cafe just off that route. Just take the right turn immediately after the bridge and follow the road alongside Derwent Reservoir for a couple of miles. You’ll usually meet a few bikers there 😀
Fabulous . Love that road . Been on it loads of times in car and on bike with hubby.. great memories tnx x
Lovely ride Dave. Thanks for having me along.
Ey up
Always a nice run across there, no matter in which direction

Thanks for taking us along on your latest bimble, Dave. The Peak District is truly lovely, rain or shine.

Nice to see you still getting around the old roads, last time we went down there called in at the cafe on the crossroads near the market square.

Wish there wasn't a foot of snow on the ground here in the states, I'd love to ride one
You have better weather right now then Fargo North Dakota, USA.
