If it was tuned the S4 would have been a lot faster than the others. The S4 is just a quick car and the lightest out of all of them. Power to weight makes a difference. No need to hate on the Audi because it was quicker.

@@aceultimate4393 correct. The 4l has a small lag but roll race it’s faster. Irl people roll race. Drag is only if you think you have All the space and freedom to sit and wait. C is also smaller. M bmw however is another level. They are goat. Both good cars 4.0 and some under. Don’t even matter these cars smoke anyone on the streets. Unless it’s Tesla / lucid or c8

The M340 easily beats the c43 and S4 , but nevertheless racing it for 8 times straight you’ll have heat soak that’s why they all need to be lunched at the same time just like carwow does it.

@@strykz63the bmw beats every car here in any other comparison. You can watch any other drag race and the m340 always wins by a large margin. The other cars are almost a half second off normally. It’s not about being a fanboy, the video just is misleading.
No BMW in the world would beat that C43. It is even quicker than cars with more HP.
Roll race is unfair, the bmw is always a bit more ahead compared to all other cars in roll race. Has to be equal side by side for roll race

I went from a 2021 TTRS to a 2023 S5 Sportback. Not the same performance as the RS, but still fast enough to get me in trouble.
Why would u get that over a bmw m340i or bmw m2? Just brand loyalty to audi? I use to be a massive audi fan espicially when their Quattro system was un rivaled by bmw and Mercedes. But now bmw with with XDrive its just a completely different beast and sounds better then the audi.

@@G82Watts It just comes down to preference. IMO the S5 sounds better, is more practical and has a better interior. While the B58 is a great engine and the MMI is better, the interior feels lower end in comparison.

Owned a 2020 G70 3.3t which is lighter than a Stinger and the transmission was terrible. It was slow, no match for the ZF8s. It really needs a DCT from Hyundai . Got rid of the car is less than 2 years, luckily when car prices skyrocketed, made money on it .
Its amazing when you take into account that the price is half the cost or even less compared to the rest of the cars and its still keeping up decently well.

Even better if: agree on the actual speed that the other car should be driving at. It's more organized. M440 is just pretty quick though, hands down.

The C43 with 385 horsescsn take on other cars with 430 - 450 horses very easilly.
The guy in the kia did the car so bad official ¼mile is 12.9 for this model saw some gettin 12.8 he did 13.4 thats crazy also the kia and the audi where half a car length behind the bmw at the rolls otherwise the benz did so good

Those were the other cars I wanted but chose the Stinger for the looks and price point. Fully loaded, in Canada, the Stinger is $55k CDN while the rest are $70k+ CDN. I’ve put 175,000km on my Stinger since owning it now and it’s never left me stranded and always gets compliments!
Ps. It also fits a 65” Tv in the back and a pair of Quickjacks aswell.
I hate this format, why do the roll first? 🤨 Go back to the original way! First the dig, then the roll.
Some channels do this to increase the amount of time viewers view their video for. Since everyone wants to see the drag race it increases the chance that viewers will watch the video through to the end to see the drag race.
The longer people view their video = more monetisation.
To only have Sam talking makes it one man show and less entertaining. Give these drivers their day of fame. We want to know what they are thinking.

@@SamCarLegion I would do a mini interview in the beginning , let them talk about their car, where are they from, what do they do, why did they buy that car, ask them who they think will win, will they sell if they lose. ;) You know, entertaining stuff. Engage them and ask them to speak their emotions during the race. I think it will be more fun. And you can still edit all you want. The races are nice but the show is so blah. Give it some character. Just my view on it...

Sorry for the spoiler alert, but it got humbled and walked pretty badly by the S4 and C43 on both roll races.. (a lighter M340 wouldve likely been a different story, though).
@@4MATICbenz not by the S4. The S4 was slower from a rolling race. Yes an M340i would have smoked all of them. At least that was the case on throttle house.
As a M340i owner I can confidently say that Sam wasn't launching the m440i with full launch control. It's a far more violent experience in the bmw than what I saw in the video. Also the B58 can be finicky at rolling speeds if you're in a gear to high or the rpm range isn't optimal, still pretty quick, but the B58's real party trick is the crazy launch control. Sam, it should give you a message confirming launch control active. Should probably let the owners drive their cars, like Officially Gassed channel does.

They're looking for the "Race flag" that is inbetween them. This is explained at the beginning of the video.

You should do this exact race with the SUV version of each car. (SQ5, X3 M40i, GV70 3.3, and the GLE 43. )

Audi is a great platform for races from a Dig, from a roll, you might want to be in manual mode.
Good commentary at the end because it's either the weight holding the bmw back or it's terribly heat soaked. I say this because I have personally witnessed and experienced multiple times the m340i walking the c43 and the S4. So, someone has more power than stock, bmw heat soaked or the m440i is just that much heavier. Owned these cars previously, the mercs and the bmw. So, I know them well.

But they're all gray cars BMW platform is awesome I have my M3 like I said 2005 and I have my 2016 S4 Premium Plus Audi and she's a beast wicker because the superchargers I have K&N air filter and I run the racing drag racing Royal Purple engine oil in it can I have a stage one tune and I have 465 horsepower I'm doing 0 to 60 and 3.3 shut the turn off I'm still doing 4.2 run all sports Mitchell tires on it if you run Royal Purple oil and then car is still logistic came and filter you're going to gain about 20 horsepower 100% you gain 3 to 5% increase in Horsepower with the racing oil Purple oil probably between 8 to 10 horsepower with the filter supercharged or turbocharged but when you do them on the supercharged engine is response are instantly so they are quicker and they have more horsepower just got to do the math prove it by doing the runs without them and I have done it 20 approved online if you just type it in and it'll show on the dino that these cars are gaining more horsepower this by doing in two things but is supercharged is definitely quicker off the line and probably 3/4 of a quarter of a mile track record in the 10 to twin turbo car

Well the S4 in the M3 always been rivals my son has has the m340i 2020 best 300 I think 80 something horsepower 2016 S4 Jeremy Speck they really have 355 horsepower they have 20 more horsepower than what they say to do when they bring to America so the numbers are a little bit wrong but I take them cuz I have a supercharged engine supercharged is quicker than the turbo plus my car is lighter and it shifts quicker and it's all wheel drive so the Audi's all-wheel drive is a little bit better than a lot of the other cars decision the shifting is quicker and the brakes I learned are definitely better in my car than the me I have an M3 to have a 2005 the supercharged engine is a lot quicker than a turbocharged and we race and sometimes I beat him but if he beats me he only Beats Me by maybe a couple feet so if that was a supercharged I would actually even be quicker off the line 2010 to 16 were the best models they're better than the turbocharged once I think my opinion they're more reliable or later they shift quicker and there are a lot quicker
s5 is a bit slower than s4 just like m4 is slower than m3
The stupid thing about this comparison is that the B58 suffers from heat soak. So you can't have it race 4 different cars. It will loose power drastically with every race. It's not a secret

The fact that Sam always seem to bring back the Stinger against the Germans is entertaining. For the price, it's performance is respectable, but the B58 in the BMW is king of the German trio. Great showing by the Audi though! Still love my Stinger for the hatch.

C43 AMG has the best design and engine sound. Sounds better than a Porsche or any other V6. On top it is the fastest. Beautiful ❤❤❤

I was originally shopping for a BMW m440, but ended up buying a new Audi S4. The BMW is a superior engine, but in every other way, I preferred the S4. The Audi has better steering, lighter on its feet, and much better materials and finishing. The Bimmer and BMW don’t use near the quality of leather, plastics and metals that Audi uses. I would never consider a Kia.
BTW, after 29k, my Audi is even faster than new.
BMW is coasting off bane and lineage. The enthusiast cars are long gone. Sure the b58 is ok but still too many plastic components tour the money. If Kia did the same they would get roasted. There is extreme bias towards BMW. Ie. first car was a 89’ e30, then 03’ 325i, ‘08 335i, ‘13 328i M sport, 14 328i, and wife has a x1. They’re cutting corners but no one cares because the ultimate driving experience 😅

The s4 driver wasn't staying the same as bmw 440i during roll race, The s4 driver was slightly behind.. if the s4 was on point with 440i, i believe s4 would beat the 440i

He probably has a dragy inside the car, or he has speed traps at the start and finish line, you gotta use GPS device if your not at an actual drag strip

You should do a proper roll by holding the gear manually and then going instead of leaving in on drive and just stepping on it.
think the bmw got heat soaked after all the back to back runs - its definitely faster than a s4 1/4 mile wise (even this Gran coupe model)
