Though the song All Our Days is portrayed as Taiyang (Yang and Ruby's Father) singing it to Yang it was actually written by Jeff about Casey. Supposedly when Casey went to record the Vocals for the song she had yet to read the lyrics and when it started to dawn on her that Jeff had written the song about her she cried while recording.

The song "Boop" actually was in the show. It was an example of a Diegetic song. Nora was listing to it on her headphones in Vol 2 chapter 6 when Jaune and Ren are talking and you can hear it for a second or two when she interupts them to say that Ren and her are not "together together."

The lady saved her from Neo on the train, an going forward that's the only thing from that volume that was carried over related to her.

Correct, the male vocalist on Caffeine was Jeff Williams, who does pretty much all the male volcals and backing vocals and did sing indeed on From Shadows.
I love this soundtrack. For a *long* time the Vol2 intro was my favorite. Caffeine just makes you wanna jam out. And Sacrifice... oh man Sacrifice. Shine makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I love how Dream Come True turns into a Weiss diss track.

I think Time To Say Goodbye and Sacrifice are still some of my favorite tracks from RWBY as a whole, the latter especially hints at some really interesting stuff down the line... And I love all the Jaune x Pyrrha content here too ^^
So something about Boop, it does actually make an appearance in the show. The smallest of appearances. When Jaune is talking to Ren about how to get Weiss to notice him Nora interrupts. He tells at her to put the headphones back on. There is the smallest bit of the song Boop playing through the headphones when she has them off of her head.
Re listening to the music while staying with RWBY in real time is really interesting like they are telling you what you need to know before anything really happens (its mostly for the volume that comes right after but some of the things that happen in one volume always affects another) and it is amazing such a good way to use music to advance the story.
My FAVORITE RWBY intro, even to this day! Yes, Magnhild is the name of Nora's weapon. ^_^ Sacrifice...is a song you should come back and listen to later, once you're further into the series. It will likely be VERY obvious what the song is about at that point.

man this show delivers such excellent music and your reactions are so fun to watch! die is definitely a dark song but i enjoy the heck out of it and caffeine is just an absolute banger. i cant say with 100% certainty off the top of my head but im pretty sure all male vocals in rwby aside from lamar hall’s rapping and one song in a later volume are jeff. all our days was actually written by jeff for casey, but i think the in show context is probably meant to be about yang and taiyang (the girls’ dad). though i have seen it framed as from yang to ruby and it kinda works there too. it being from tai to yang makes the lyrics about never leaving hurt my heart even more considering yang’s mom left right after she was born so i can absolutely see tai promising lil baby yang that he’ll never do the same. yang said after ruby’s mom died that their dad kind of shut down but there was no expansion on that and based on the very small snippets of info we’ve gotten about him from the girls mentioning him and how they talk about him, i always assumed that was like the grief response and possibly a period that he needed help to break out of, not that he’s been that way ever since. even 6 volumes later people still talk about sacrifice a lot and debate who they think it is about. i dont know if jeff or casey have ever actually confirmed the meaning behind it but i think it has potential to apply to a lot of characters.

Team CVFY is the most amazing team during volume 3, so check on their semblance. 1. Coco Adel: the leader of team and extremely strong with her briefcase single hit a Beowulf. We have seen her semblance actually which is Hype she could charge her dust bullet and make it more powerful to one shot the grim. 2. Fox Alistair: he is blind but make up with speed style fighting skills and his semblance of telepathy. Could communicate to his team members without speaking. 3. Velvet Scarletina: arguably the most skilled fighter in RWBY series, I just said this for a hint of her semblance of photographic memory she could copy any kind of fighting style that she already see with her weapon could copy someone weapons after take it's picture. 4. Yatsuhashi Daichi: gentle giant with the most powerful strength feat which with his single strike on ground could knock grim around him. I don't know you read their novel but I will said his semblance is one of the powerful and terrified at the same time, which is mind erase: he could erase memories for certain amount of time like erase for 1 hour ago that's why he hate his semblance. It's not spoilers she already finished volume 3 in patreon.

Now that you've seen so much of the series I'll just say that the songs Die and Sacrifice are still under a fair bit of debate: Sacrifice is often most associated with Raven due to her constant blaming of Oz while still fearing Salem and death in general but well, for ages there were rumors it was a song for Cinder and well that sort of faded around volume 5 and 6 due it so fitting Raven and post V7E3 Salem reveal (since it sort of matches her resistance against the gods)... BUT well, volume 8 kicked the debate back up if it would work for Cinder for reasons you'll see. Regardless it's a great track though, probably directed towards Ozpin and could easily fit all of them in general~ XD The other one Die... Die I think is a Ruby(or 'protagonists in general') and Cinder('antagonists in general') song. Most of the lyrics lamenting the loss of peace, happiness etc but there are some that definitely feel quite a bit too sinister (namely the 'revenge is always sweet, and chaos is the prize' line). Generally though the track is very much late volume 7 and volume 8 feeling in retrospect (ahhhh the CRWBY just love their musical foreshadowing~
its not necessary to hear, but if you wanted to listen to the acoustic version of Time to Say Goodbye when you listen to the Volume 3 soundtrack, I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful vocals that Casey's done.

The video maker screwed up hard making it Yang and Taiyang since Tai didn't even know Raven was pregnant and he wasn't there when she was born.

Pretty much, it's kind of accepted now that that scene was maybe a dream Yang was having. But like Colt said, it's not to be taken literally.
