it's been like.. 2 years since this soundtrack came out... and about 50+ listenings later, i still cry over this song... everytime... and even then i can't even fathom how difficult it was for casey to record this incredible piece. if even for us, that didn't know Monty in person, that song hits soooo hard, i can't even wonder how that affects those who were there side by side and working with him for years and years... even if this is not like... the best anime/animation ever created, this show has been growing into me since volume 1 and still does till this day. it has such a thing that captivated me like no series before had ever done. and i feel like shit when i think i will never be able to meet, or even see, the incredible person Monty was with my own eyes. even though, i feel so glad that they didn't shutdown the series when he passed, instead they decided to keep carrying on, and i feel this was the right move, and monty is certainly so damn proud wherever he is.
I cried with you on Indomitable because it is such a meaningful song, because Monty has, and will always continue to touch so many peoples lives in so many important ways. RWBY saved me from committing suicide by showing me hope in the world and I owe everything to Monty for giving the world what he did. And still to this day I do everything I create with Monty in mind. This series I guarantee will transcend time eventually.

A lot of the RWBY songs can do that, actually, and that's why I love it all so much. They slip a lot of foreshadowing into these soundtracks, and it's not always instantly recognizable until later.
Yeah, "Indomitable" is always an emotional message. I suffer from depression and have to take meds just to function day-to-day. This song has helped me come to terms with a lot of things in my life and has helped me to move on and keep going. Even though it's a sad at some parts, it's far more inspiring than anything else. For that, I'm grateful for this song and everything Monty gave us, and continues to give us even after his passing.
47:45 It's Casey singing Blake's lines and Adrienne Cowen singing Yang's. Indomitable makes me cry everytime, I'm a writer and it means so much to me as a song and as a tribute to Monty, who I never got to see because I only got into RWBY last year.
I love that they added a moving forward line in the opening, also "Born the way we're meant to be" is such a great line, and the infinite and Unbound is a reference to Pyrrha and nearly made me tear up the first time I listened to it.
Girl, I absolutly ADORE your soundtrack reactions. Honestly, I do not watch this type of videos from anyone else, really. But you do it in a way... With such emotion, and passion, and really trying to understand the lyrics. And not only that, you are so smart! You are quick to catch references and stuff. Something I always liked about Nevermore is that it retroactively makes Lionize better, in my opinion anyway, because it’s almost a direct response to it with Ken if the early lines even being “The goal of a saviour is not to be lionised”

I said it before and I will say it again: Casey can belt out a Rock tune like no one's business, But she shines the most in the slower more intimate songs. I would love to hear her put out an album of some slow Jazz ballads.

Honestly, this album has four of my favorite songs. Two because they are literally like a proclamation and a response, and the other two are "Forever Fall" and "Indomitable." But I love how Adam's song is "Lionized," and he's singing about how he's the faunus' savior and deserves to be glorified as such; then, the song "Nevermore" has the lines, "I challenge your weak manifesto. The goal of a savior is not to be lionized!" And just the fact that it feels like such a personal attack on Adam's whole ideology is great.

I’ve only listened to Big Metal Shoe once, so hearing “Eeny meeny miny mo, time for you to die” caught me so off guard! 🤣 Casey putting on a southern accent for the acoustic cover cracked me up!
Wow you are up there with Puns of Damage as my favorite reactor, and she got her dream job to be an animator on RWBY for volume 9 so she has retired. And you are just ahead of Cheryl from Sirs and Madams. She joined with the group to react to volume 7 soundtrack and enjoyed the music so much she reacted to the show last summer and caught in time for volume 8. A different personality from yours but just as emotional and intelligent as you. I have memorized every opening and can sing any of them, but the one that will just pop into my head and make me sing it is Rising. Now we are just waiting for volume 8 OST to drop as soon as Jeff can get to it, something else more important has come up for him so we must be patient.
I've got to say the Volume 6 soundtrack is probably the best on the whole Other soundtracks may have a few better songs, but they don't have that level across the board

I’m sure many people have mentioned, the novel Rwby:Roman Holiday is set to come out early September and will delve into The pair’s origin. Once you get caught up with the series and the atlas arc I highly recommend doing videos on the expanded universe content. Maybe just reviews or perhaps reactions to the audiobooks, the first 2 are free on Spotify. I am beyond thankful for Indomitable and the lyrics for the tribute to monty that the creators and fans all feel. This story is amazing and the journey that it has brought so many people on through rwby and even beyond is one that is unquantifiable. Monty you changed my life in ways I will never be able to understand and many others’ lives as well beyond the context of this show. And though I never met you, I love you more than I can explain. I love you and the love you have shown all of us is indomitable. I can’t ever express truly how thankful I am. Love you monty ❤️
I will admit I have only seen your Indomitable reaction so far but I think I'll go back and check out your reaction to the series (including the rest of the soundtracks)! You seem like a pretty genuine and insightful person and I always welcome that in reactors. You are _so_ right about this series being so important to so many people. I've been a fan since V3 and I was vaguely aware of Monty's passing while I was on Tumblr at the time, though I didn't give it much thought. I've watched week to week since the start of V3, but I didn't truly get into the series until Volume 5. Path to Isolation in the Weiss V5 character short _really_ struck something within me and I started doing text-based roleplay in the series. In about six months, I had written over 50,000 words of my own spin on the RWBY canon through fanfiction. However, tragedy struck in I think late July 2018 for me. I fractured my wrist which was devastating for me. I write everything by hand and it felt like someone had put a white-hot poker over the top of my arm whenever I wrote for too long. I fell into a really, _really_ bad depression where I really didn't write too much. I've been a writer for 21 years at the point of me writing this comment. I started at 9 years old and I'm 30 now. Then Volume 6 aired and I heard the little ten-second clip of Indomitable. I knew that song was going to be something _really_ special. I'm glad I wasn't wrong because I would've been so disappointed and upset. That song helped inspire me at least back into doing _research_ notes for writing. It wasn't writing itself, but it was a step toward it. Then quarantine hit and I knew I needed to write again. I picked up a Snowbird (Qrow/Winter) fic I had started back in either 2018 or 2019. My writing style had shifted but, at the time, it felt like my quality had suffered severely from me not writing for around two years. I had a pretty massive breakdown over it and was in tears. I felt like what I had loved most was taken away from me. I went to work and put on my massive (600+ songs) playlist while I cleaned. Indomitable was the _third_ song that came up on shuffle and it was _exactly_ the kick I needed to remind myself that what you create doesn't need to be _good._ The point of creation is just to have fun and create. Somewhere out there, the piece you write may be somebody's favorite fanfic or book or whatever. You may think it's terrible, but to somebody else, it's amazing. My writing style hasn't shifted back to what it used to be 3-4 years ago. But that's okay. Writing styles just change sometimes. Since 2020, I've written over 200,000 words by hand. 140,000 of that has just been _this_ year in the past six months. I use e-ink now instead of paper, but I'm back to writing. I've learned to let go of my ego and just enjoy the act of creation again. It's so freeing to be able to just lose myself in the world of RWBY. It may not be a _perfect_ series, but it's _my_ series. The message of "keep moving forward" has helped push me through the past 5-6 years which have been _really_ dark for me.
1:01:18 I 100% agree. I had a severe psychotic breakdown when I was 19 due to severe abuse and untreated CPTSD. It was so severe, my therapist had even commented she didn't believe I was going to recover. One of the only reasons I had been able to recover was because of RWBY. The music being a huge factor. Especially Weiss' songs as a lot of my abuse, especially by my father, was covered up in order for my families company appearance. So, it just always hit home. Then listening how Weiss and the other girls got knocked down, over and over again and still choose to get up and fight. They could walk away but the choose to press on. It was always reassuring. It gave me confidence to do the same. I think RWBY helped so many people and we have Monty, CRWBY, Jeff and Casey Williams to thank.

Nevermore is one of the best end credit songs cause it was mostly the point of views of Yang and Blake telling Adam that he is delusional and to open his eyes to the truth. Casey is singing in Blake's perspective and Adrienne sings in Yang's perspective and they do it beautifully. Also in Indomitable, one of my favorite lines from the song is, "A world created, its map fashioned from a stain." What that meant is that Monty, Kerry, Burnie, Miles, and the rest of the members went to a board meeting at an IHOP to talk about the series. So Monty took a napkin, put ketchup on it, crumbled it up and revealed it to his fellow members saying, "That's what the world of RWBY looks like."
I love that even in his song you see the shift in his perspective. It went from, "oh I'll watch them fall as I'm glorified" showing his more non violent beginnings where he was content to merely stand by and watch as his actions and those of the White Fangs brought down humankind's tyranny. Then in the next bit it becomes "Kill them all as I am glorified" showing that at some point watching wasn't enough for him to achieve the results he and the Fang wanted, and so he slowly shifts into the more violent, murderous Adam that Blake ran from. Then you have the final phase of his fall from grace, where it's no longer enough for him to be the Warrior on the front lines, he believes that the only way to achieve the results he wants is for him to take over as the leader by "deposing the feeble cowards/flaccid leaders". It's a wonderful theme that encapsulates basically everything in his life from his beginning to his end. As much as I have and will always believe my boy got done dirty, I am very grateful he was given an appropriate and well made theme as a send off. As well as some respect from the song Nevermore, pointing out how he was at his core just another unfortunate victim of a horrid cycle no one could break him free of.
Adam didn't start out as a bad guy, Blake said that he changed over time and initially he tried to avoid killing people if he could avoid it, Sienna Khan gave him a pat on the back though and it unleashed his ego
Fun Fact; The Wizard of Oz reference in Big Metal Shoe was twofold and I love it; "You would be great and terrible" (I AM OZ, THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE!) "But only if you had a brain" (If I only had a brain) I knew you wouldn't be prepared for Indomitable, none of us ever are, even I was in tears watching you listen to Indomitable. Don't feel bad, I don't recognize Monty by sight either (or most people really, including my close friends) but I did catch on pretty quick with the line "Sometimes, that's how gods roll" I myself view creators as the "gods" of the worlds they create, so I caught on. Though, I listened to it when it first released, so the memory of losing Monty was pretty fresh in my memory at the time. Depending on how long it takes you to get through Volumes 7 and 8 you might catch up before 9! Then we literally will get to watch it together!
There's a recurrent theme of finding/making your own path when lost and nothing else worked, everyone else has failed them or the goal, made mistakes and what they tried didn't work. No one knows the solution or has answers, so on their they have to figure it out but their way now, learning through their own mistakes and trials. A lot of the hints have been there since the start, "lightning straying from the thunder", "welcome to a world of new solutions", trying new things when the previous didnt work, learning, and doing what they feel is right. Likewise the moon theme has been there from the start, every mention of it, mirrors, light, hope and dreams. The moon being usually associated with sleeping, dreaming, could also be a symbol of a light in the night, a guardian in a way, now shattered. Like Sacrifice lyrics "Truth will be revealed by mirrored eyes", mirrored eyes that reflect light onto the dark side of the world.

The past between Roman and Neo. I haven't had the chance to read it yet myself, but it is at the TOP of my list of things to buy when I can. Neo Politan steals the show whenever she shows up on screen, and I do have a few theories related to where her path will take her moving forward. It won't be an easy path for her to walk, however she won't be alone, as we travel beyond the looking glass and into the land of wonder and dreams. As for "Indomitable" Well, there are no words that need be said to any fan of the series about this song. We know, and I'm willing to bet that not a single one of us can listen to this song without breaking down into tears. As for "Forever Fall" The lyrics "This is infinite. Nothing, even death, could separate our souls." has a deeper meaning implied by the series itself. Jaune's and Pyrrha's souls are forever bound together, through a tiny moment that happened in the very beginning of the series. Pyrrha used her own aura (by channeling it into Jaune) to activate and awaken his aura (soul), and this moment merged a tiny portion of her aura (aka soul) with Jaune's. There are other deeper details related to a number of additional theories related to this topic.
Alright, let’s do this: - Rising - Definitely top three OPs for me. It’s just a banger. Bought it without hesitation. - Miracle - Yeah, really goes into the After Learning the Truth feels. The bridge is especially reminiscent of the feeling of Apathy for me. Not my favorite song but still a banger. - One Thing - I love this hint at Neo backstory. Like, truly, just makes me so excited for what they’ve got planned for Neo down the line. There’s just so much anger in our favorite tiny illusionist. Honestly, I’m with you, I just want to give her a hug. Bought. - Lionized - Oh Adam. Even though you were a horrible piece of crap, you’re song is actually a legit banger. The second half of this song is just crazy musically man. - Big Metal Shoe - I really love the bait and switch for this song’s opening. Basically just an excuse to reference every nursery rhyme and fairy tale. Also, just one of my favorite Lamar raps. And there’s even more references that your notes didn’t mention. - Nevermore - Favorite song of the volume. Hands down. Casey and Adrianne kill it. The call out of Adam’s song Lionized is just *chef’s kiss* Defintely bought this song. - Indomitable - Even to this day this song makes me cry. It’s also such a interesting contrast to Cold. Cold was written in the midst of their grief over losing Monty. It’s somber and sad and that permeates every lyric. Indomitable was obviously written when they’ve had time to come to terms with Monty’s passing. They still miss him and there’s still sadness, but they’ve managed to move forward, to keep going and grow. It’s more hopeful than Cold, progress. Obviously, I bought this one. - Forever Fall - Gonna be real, this is my least favorite song on the soundtrack. The vocals and music are beautiful but… eh.

I know this has probably been recommended to you before, but I think you’d like watching Rooster Teeth’s tribute to Monty after his passing, as well as their podcast episode reminiscing about him. It’s a gut punch. But it helps understand even better the man that made this whole universe and show possible.

I think that there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that Pyrrha's soul is still traveling with Jaune. I hope this is something that is resolved before the end of the series.
There’s so many people who shit all over this show. Like yeah it’s got flaws but it’s not like it’s a broken show. It’s different to the way it was when it first started because of Monty dying but they’ve tried their best to keep it close while not just being a pale imitation. And let’s be honest there are plenty of anime that are way worse that are way more praised for being pretty crap. Most mainstream anime is a product of its time and is pretty bad if you didn’t count nostalgia. Naruto Shippuden is inferior to Naruto, One piece is way too long that it’s just insane at this point, Bleach is interesting but it feels like it’s making things up as it goes. No anime is perfect but the amount of sheer hate that RWBY gets is unjustified imo
Whenever I see full videos of people talking smack about Rwby, comments that turn their backs on it too it breaks my heart. Rooster Teeth has been through alot, but give them some credit. Miles Luna is TRYING. Can you imagine the pressure that man in under? Not only that, but continuing Rwby after the soul creator is no longer alive wasn't going to be easy. At least they are doing the best they can and critics, fans put them through the ringer for a reason I can't fathom on why. Renegade React quit on Rwby, because of the accusations on Vic Migngna(which I feel there's more to the story instead of outright blaming Rooster Teeth). Just want people to have some patience with Rooster Teeth and stop trashing Vic, he's innocent and let him play Qrow again. No offense to Jason(I think he's good too), but I do miss Vic's voice talking through Qrow.
I like Adam's song and I hate the wasted potential and how the series plays along with discrimination. Illia's parents where exploited and killed along with other faunus and people laugh at her. Every character has parents or dead parents, except for Adam... Adam's family was obviously murdered and he was humilliated. Everyone choses to do bussines with Schnee and Atlas to get comfort while Adam was being branded on his face. Even Blake complains at Ozpin, but then she gets comfort... and then she can speak about peace, without bringing justice to Adam's pain or any other faunus. Through the series the only ones doing "something" are the Belladona, but they are just administrating their city, nothing more. Now Blake and Yang killed Adam for being obsessed with them but Adam can't want to kill the people who killed and abused his family, or get punishment to the people who CHOSE comfort over doing something about discrimination. Adam stills egocentric. don't get me wrong, I'm not blind. :P

Indomitable makes me cry everytime, I'm a writer and it means so much to me as a song and as a tribute to Monty, who I never got to see because I only got into RWBY last year.
I love that they added a moving forward line in the opening, also "Born the way we're meant to be" is such a great line, and the infinite and Unbound is a reference to Pyrrha and nearly made me tear up the first time I listened to it.

Girl, I absolutly ADORE your soundtrack reactions. Honestly, I do not watch this type of videos from anyone else, really. But you do it in a way... Something I always liked about Nevermore is that it retroactively makes Lionize better, in my opinion anyway, because it’s almost a direct response to it with Ken if the early lines even being “The goal of a saviour is not to be lionised”

Miracle is my favorite song out of all of RWBY. So good. Just about everything out of this vol's soundtrack is a hard banger.
Honestly, this album has four of my favorite songs. Two because they are literally like a proclamation and a response, and the other two are "Forever Fall" and "Indomitable." But I love how Adam's song is "Lionized," and he's singing about how he's the faunus' savior and deserves to be glorified as such; then, the song "Nevermore" has the lines, "I challenge your weak manifesto. The goal of a savior is not to be lionized!" And just the fact that it feels like such a personal attack on Adam's whole ideology is great.

Wow you are up there with Puns of Damage as my favorite reactor, and she got her dream job to be an animator on RWBY for volume 9 so she has retired. And you are just ahead of Cheryl from Sirs and Madams. She joined with the group to react to volume 7 soundtrack and enjoyed the music so much she reacted to the show last summer and caught in time for volume 8. A different personality from yours but just as emotional and intelligent as you. I have memorized every opening and can sing any of them, but the one that will just pop into my head and make me sing it is Rising. Now we are just waiting for volume 8 OST to drop as soon as Jeff can get to it, something else more important has come up for him so we must be patient.

Once you get caught up with the series and the atlas arc I highly recommend doing videos on the expanded universe content. I am beyond thankful for Indomitable and the lyrics for the tribute to monty that the creators and fans all feel. This story is amazing and the journey that it has brought so many people on through rwby and even beyond is one that is unquantifiable. Monty you changed my life in ways I will never be able to understand and many others’ lives as well beyond the context of this show. And though I never met you, I love you more than I can explain. I love you and the love you have shown all of us is indomitable. I can’t ever express truly how thankful I am. Love you monty ❤️

I will admit I have only seen your Indomitable reaction so far but I think I'll go back and check out your reaction to the series (including the rest of the soundtracks)! You seem like a pretty genuine and insightful person and I always welcome that in reactors.
You are _so_ right about this series being so important to so many people. I've been a fan since V3 and I was vaguely aware of Monty's passing while I was on Tumblr at the time, though I didn't give it much thought. I've watched week to week since the start of V3, but I didn't truly get into the series until Volume 5. Path to Isolation in the Weiss V5 character short _really_ struck something within me and I started doing text-based roleplay in the series. In about six months, I had written over 50,000 words of my own spin on the RWBY canon through fanfiction.
However, tragedy struck in I think late July 2018 for me. I fractured my wrist which was devastating for me. I write everything by hand and it felt like someone had put a white-hot poker over the top of my arm whenever I wrote for too long. I fell into a really, _really_ bad depression where I really didn't write too much. I've been a writer for 21 years at the point of me writing this comment. I started at 9 years old and I'm 30 now.
Then Volume 6 aired and I heard the little ten-second clip of Indomitable. I knew that song was going to be something _really_ special. I'm glad I wasn't wrong because I would've been so disappointed and upset.
That song helped inspire me at least back into doing _research_ notes for writing. It wasn't writing itself, but it was a step toward it.
Then quarantine hit and I knew I needed to write again. I picked up a Snowbird (Qrow/Winter) fic I had started back in either 2018 or 2019. My writing style had shifted but, at the time, it felt like my quality had suffered severely from me not writing for around two years. I had a pretty massive breakdown over it and was in tears. I felt like what I had loved most was taken away from me.
I went to work and put on my massive (600+ songs) playlist while I cleaned. Indomitable was the _third_ song that came up on shuffle and it was _exactly_ the kick I needed to remind myself that what you create doesn't need to be _good._ The point of creation is just to have fun and create. Somewhere out there, the piece you write may be somebody's favorite fanfic or book or whatever. You may think it's terrible, but to somebody else, it's amazing. My writing style hasn't shifted back to what it used to be 3-4 years ago. But that's okay. Writing styles just change sometimes.
Since 2020, I've written over 200,000 words by hand. 140,000 of that has just been _this_ year in the past six months. I use e-ink now instead of paper, but I'm back to writing. I've learned to let go of my ego and just enjoy the act of creation again. It's so freeing to be able to just lose myself in the world of RWBY. It may not be a _perfect_ series, but it's _my_ series. The message of "keep moving forward" has helped push me through the past 5-6 years which have been _really_ dark for me.
1:01:18 I 100% agree. I had a severe psychotic breakdown when I was 19 due to severe abuse and untreated CPTSD. It was so severe, my therapist had even commented she didn't believe I was going to recover. One of the only reasons I had been able to recover was because of RWBY. The music being a huge factor. Especially Weiss' songs as a lot of my abuse, especially by my father, was covered up in order for my families company appearance. So, it just always hit home. Then listening how Weiss and the other girls got knocked down, over and over again and still choose to get up and fight. They could walk away but the choose to press on. It was always reassuring. It gave me confidence to do the same.
I think RWBY helped so many people and we have Monty, CRWBY, Jeff and Casey Williams to thank.

The V6 soundtrack is just "oops all bangers"
Nevermore is one of the best end credit songs cause it was mostly the point of views of Yang and Blake telling Adam that he is delusional and to open his eyes to the truth. Casey is singing in Blake's perspective and Adrienne sings in Yang's perspective and they do it beautifully. Also in Indomitable, one of my favorite lines from the song is, "A world created, its map fashioned from a stain." What that meant is that Monty, Kerry, Burnie, Miles, and the rest of the members went to a board meeting at an IHOP to talk about the series. So Monty took a napkin, put ketchup on it, crumbled it up and revealed it to his fellow members saying, "That's what the world of RWBY looks like."
Indomitable is my go-to song for if I'm in the sort of mental state where I just need a good cry. Works flawlessly
I love that even in his song you see the shift in his perspective.
It went from, "oh I'll watch them fall as I'm glorified" showing his more non violent beginnings where he was content to merely stand by and watch as his actions and those of the White Fangs brought down humankind's tyranny.
Then in the next bit it becomes "Kill them all as I am glorified" showing that at some point watching wasn't enough for him to achieve the results he and the Fang wanted, and so he slowly shifts into the more violent, murderous Adam that Blake ran from.
Then you have the final phase of his fall from grace, where it's no longer enough for him to be the Warrior on the front lines, he believes that the only way to achieve the results he wants is for him to take over as the leader by "deposing the feeble cowards/flaccid leaders".
It's a wonderful theme that encapsulates basically everything in his life from his beginning to his end.
As much as I have and will always believe my boy got done dirty, I am very grateful he was given an appropriate and well made theme as a send off.
As well as some respect from the song Nevermore, pointing out how he was at his core just another unfortunate victim of a horrid cycle no one could break him free of.
Adam didn't start out as a bad guy, Blake said that he changed over time and initially he tried to avoid killing people if he could avoid it, Sienna Khan gave him a pat on the back though and it unleashed his ego

I knew you wouldn't be prepared for Indomitable, none of us ever are, even I was in tears watching you listen to Indomitable. Don't feel bad, I don't recognize Monty by sight either (or most people really, including my close friends) but I did catch on pretty quick with the line "Sometimes, that's how gods roll" I myself view creators as the "gods" of the worlds they create, so I caught on. Though, I listened to it when it first released, so the memory of losing Monty was pretty fresh in my memory at the time.
Depending on how long it takes you to get through Volumes 7 and 8 you might catch up before 9! Then we literally will get to watch it together!
There's a recurrent theme of finding/making your own path when lost and nothing else worked, everyone else has failed them or the goal, made mistakes and what they tried didn't work. No one knows the solution or has answers, so on their they have to figure it out but their way now, learning through their own mistakes and trials.
A lot of the hints have been there since the start, "lightning straying from the thunder", "welcome to a world of new solutions", trying new things when the previous didnt work, learning, and doing what they feel is right.
Likewise the moon theme has been there from the start, every mention of it, mirrors, light, hope and dreams. The moon being usually associated with sleeping, dreaming, could also be a symbol of a light in the night, a guardian in a way, now shattered. Like Sacrifice lyrics "Truth will be revealed by mirrored eyes", mirrored eyes that reflect light onto the dark side of the world.
Say what you will about how the show is going but I think we can all agree that the soundtracks just gets better for every volume

I haven't had the chance to read it yet myself, but it is at the TOP of my list of things to buy when I can.
Neo Politan steals the show whenever she shows up on screen, and I do have a few theories related to where her path will take her moving forward. It won't be an easy path for her to walk, however she won't be alone, as we travel beyond the looking glass and into the land of wonder and dreams.
As for "Indomitable"
Well, there are no words that need be said to any fan of the series about this song. We know, and I'm willing to bet that not a single one of us can listen to this song without breaking down into tears.
As for "Forever Fall"
The lyrics "This is infinite. Nothing, even death, could separate our souls." has a deeper meaning implied by the series itself.
Jaune's and Pyrrha's souls are forever bound together, through a tiny moment that happened in the very beginning of the series.
Pyrrha used her own aura (by channeling it into Jaune) to activate and awaken his aura (soul), and this moment merged a tiny portion of her aura (aka soul) with Jaune's. There are other deeper details related to a number of additional theories related to this topic.
Alright, let’s do this:
- Rising - Definitely top three OPs for me. It’s just a banger. Bought it without hesitation.
- Miracle - Yeah, really goes into the After Learning the Truth feels. The bridge is especially reminiscent of the feeling of Apathy for me. Not my favorite song but still a banger.
- One Thing - I love this hint at Neo backstory. Like, truly, just makes me so excited for what they’ve got planned for Neo down the line. There’s just so much anger in our favorite tiny illusionist. Honestly, I’m with you, I just want to give her a hug. Bought.
- Lionized - Oh Adam. Even though you were a horrible piece of crap, you’re song is actually a legit banger. The second half of this song is just crazy musically man.
- Big Metal Shoe - I really love the bait and switch for this song’s opening. Basically just an excuse to reference every nursery rhyme and fairy tale. Also, just one of my favorite Lamar raps. And there’s even more references that your notes didn’t mention.
- Nevermore - Favorite song of the volume. Hands down. Casey and Adrianne kill it. The call out of Adam’s song Lionized is just *chef’s kiss* Defintely bought this song.
- Indomitable - Even to this day this song makes me cry. It’s also such a interesting contrast to Cold. Cold was written in the midst of their grief over losing Monty. It’s somber and sad and that permeates every lyric. Indomitable was obviously written when they’ve had time to come to terms with Monty’s passing. They still miss him and there’s still sadness, but they’ve managed to move forward, to keep going and grow. It’s more hopeful than Cold, progress. Obviously, I bought this one.
- Forever Fall - Gonna be real, this is my least favorite song on the soundtrack. The vocals and music are beautiful but… eh.

It’s a gut punch. But it helps understand even better the man that made this whole universe and show possible.

There’s so many people who shit all over this show. Like yeah it’s got flaws but it’s not like it’s a broken show. It’s different to the way it was when it first started because of Monty dying but they’ve tried their best to keep it close while not just being a pale imitation. And let’s be honest there are plenty of anime that are way worse that are way more praised for being pretty crap. Most mainstream anime is a product of its time and is pretty bad if you didn’t count nostalgia. Naruto Shippuden is inferior to Naruto, One piece is way too long that it’s just insane at this point, Bleach is interesting but it feels like it’s making things up as it goes. No anime is perfect but the amount of sheer hate that RWBY gets is unjustified imo

Whenever I see full videos of people talking smack about Rwby, comments that turn their backs on it too it breaks my heart. Rooster Teeth has been through alot, but give them some credit. Miles Luna is TRYING. Can you imagine the pressure that man in under? Not only that, but continuing Rwby after the soul creator is no longer alive wasn't going to be easy. At least they are doing the best they can and critics, fans put them through the ringer for a reason I can't fathom on why. Renegade React quit on Rwby, because of the accusations on Vic Migngna(which I feel there's more to the story instead of outright blaming Rooster Teeth). Just want people to have some patience with Rooster Teeth and stop trashing Vic, he's innocent and let him play Qrow again. No offense to Jason(I think he's good too), but I do miss Vic's voice talking through Qrow.

I like Adam's song and I hate the wasted potential and how the series plays along with discrimination.
Illia's parents where exploited and killed along with other faunus and people laugh at her.
Every character has parents or dead parents, except for Adam...
Adam's family was obviously murdered and he was humilliated.
Everyone choses to do bussines with Schnee and Atlas to get comfort while Adam was being branded on his face.
Even Blake complains at Ozpin, but then she gets comfort... and then she can speak about peace, without bringing justice to Adam's pain or any other faunus.
Through the series the only ones doing "something" are the Belladona, but they are just administrating their city, nothing more.
Now Blake and Yang killed Adam for being obsessed with them but Adam can't want to kill the people who killed and abused his family, or get punishment to the people who CHOSE comfort over doing something about discrimination.
Adam stills egocentric. don't get me wrong, I'm not blind. :P
I hate to say this but Neo is more dumb than Roman. If you finish V8 you will understand what I'm say. Also, good news and bad news Roman still alive.
