Besides the removal of the bolt nut, was probably 45 minutes! The other three hours was struggling with the corroded nut (older setup than this, so it was a big metal thing around the whole setup). For those who get in the same situation: wd40 and then leave overnight. In the morning I was able to finally loosen it the rest of the way! Hope that saves someone hours in a cramped hopeless effort to unscrew a corroded bolt!

This is not helpful whatsoever! It’s too simple! Please try a faucet from 1970 where it’s all fused together, can’t get the bolts off, everything is covered in cobwebs, and none of the parts fit because of the 50 year difference in faucet design!!! 😅😂😢

UPDATE: 2 hours later, I'm done. Thanks. Took me a little longer, as my old faucet assembly wasn't quite the same as the one you showed; there was some corrosion, as well as a couple of other problems, thus I had to improvise, nonetheless, the new one went on smoothly and your general instructions for a non-plummer for removal were great. New faucets are nicely engineered and east to install. Getting the old one out can be a problem though, if it's been in there for a while. Dealing with corrosion, lime buildup, and rusted or damaged threads complicates the removal, especially when working in a confined space with a garbage disposal unit in the way.

I have a small leak in the end of the water hose /sprayer which is leaking down along the line of the sprayer hose onto the bottom of my kitchen sink cabinet. The leak turns out to be at the top of the sprayer where the water supply connects to the faucet handle. There is a small plastic washer which i suspect is worn out and allowing the slight leak...10 year old Moen single spray faucet. Love this faucet! I've been using it for a day now after installing it myself (no professional experience, casual DIYer. Took about 2 hours in total, from removing the old faucet to fully up and running with the Moen 7594EC).
Installation was very easy and straight forward for even a novice, as long as your follow the [very easy to read] step-by-step instructions. Came with everything needed, including batteries for the power supply (AC power supply sold separately).
I only have experience with a much cheaper bathroom touchless faucet and I must say the Moen 7594EC kitchen faucet is far, far superior! I guess you get what you pay for. It's a quality unit and the motion detector is far superior to my other one. Momentary activation comes on easily without having to "play around" with the sensor to find were it'll activate, and it stays on long enough momentarily to keep a constant stream when you need it, and shuts off promptly afterwards. In comparison, my bathroom (non Moen) faucet is just a headache to use sometimes. The motion detection is very off and on (no pun intended), not really staying on long enough to be useful. To get it to stay on longer (a feature), is very cumbersome. On the Moen 7594EC, there's also a second sensor on top of the unit that turns on a steady stream for when you need it. It does turn off automatically again though, after a very extended period of time (safety feature in case of inadvertent activation).
Really looking forward to using this unit for some time to come. The added benefits of hands free are numerous, suffice to say at the very least, you won't get handles contaminated with bacteria after handling raw food, for example!
I highly recommend the Moen 7594EC, from ease of installation to the practicality and performance of the product! amzn.to/3Kurz0s

Thanks for this video - very helpful! And thanks to Moen for including the tool for removing & tightening the fastener nut - sooooo much easier than trying to manipulate a wrench in the limited space between the wall and the sink! (Don't ask me how I know...) New Moen Georgene faucet is working great!

Here I thought i needed a plumber for this, wife told me to switch our faucet because our old one got a hole in it. This guid was the same exact faucet she ordered online, I was surprised and happy knowing that it meant each step would be identical which it was everything down to the same line going to the dishwasher, this video made it extremely easy to make the switch and first attempt worked 100% thank you, these past few years I’ve been taking on more and more small projects like this that I never knew I could and have been pleased each time, my wife is proud of me, I owe it to this video for making it insanely easy :)

Yes people should realize that most plumbing jobs are so easy and so ridiculously over priced it's not even funny. That is right... people without plumbing "degrees" (again show me a plumber with a degree) can easily replace most of the stuff in their house in less then an hour, and save literally hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. There are even fast connect faucets now that take about 15 minutes max to install.

Very nice setup - most older sinks/faucets are a lot harder to do. Rusty stuff, faucets won't shut off, etc.

Nice tutorial! Saved us some money not calling a plumber. Quick note for anyone replacing a Delta faucet - the main plate nut on our 2018 model was too big for the Moen plastic sleeve. So we had to buy a basin wrench at Harbor Freight. Was a bit tricky getting it off, but after some profanity we got it removed!

Hello. I have a couple of questions, hopefully you can help me plzzzz.
I need to change my kitchen faucet, but the new faucet I bought doesn't come with any hoses or supply tubes.
So my super said I need to buy 2 hoses.
Is there any faucets with supply tubes or hoses included?
And what's difference between supply tubes and hoses.
    Thank you so much

Hi I just came across your video. I love the way you showed every detail thanku for that!!! I just bought a moen haysfield. Im going to putit in myself tomorrow. I was told I would need the tape. (Plumbers tape) lol. U can tell I haven't done this before. Every video I watched they don't use it. I don't understand why? Can you explain that please. Also when I bought it the gentleman said I needed this certain wrench which I also bought. That is also not mentioned in any video. I'm sure I can put this faucet in myself. If I need the tape & this other specific wrench, I'm sorry I forgot the name of it, thats all good. If I don't need it why would the guys tell me to buy at the store?? I'm hoping u can clarify for me. I do absolutely love your teaching thanku. Sorry so long. Enjoy your day/evening

Great guide, thank you! It gave me a hope that I can install the new one, but unfortunately can't remove the old one - it mounted on the metal surface of sink, looks like it glued underneath, and the mounting hardware looks different.

Just replaced my faucet with a new one I got off amazon. I also purchased a "telescoping basin wrench" as the set screw that was previously on the old faucet was very hard to reach and tightly bound to the faucet. Very challenging to remove, and required some WD 40 to loosen it up, but the instructions in this video still applied. Thank you for the detailed yet concise video!

I'm want to try to DIY my faucet replacement myself becasue the pople tht said they would do it never has time. I find this video helpful however, all of the videos I've watched works on sinks where the hoses are easy to get to. My sink is old and it has a large heavy duty garbage disposal right in the front middle of the bottom of my sink which makes it difficult t get to the hoses. Nothing is ever easy (sigh)!!!

Thank you! My dad is going to be helping me replace my faucet down stairs here momentarily. Question though, and I know you most likely won’t get to it before then, but how necessary is it to wait to put on the head part of the faucet?

I've had the worse luck trying to change my faucet. The slip nut that mounts the faucet is some cumbersome gigantic piece of plastic that surrounds an actual brass nut (or whatever material it is) and I can't grip it with a telescope wrench or anything else for that matter. The under part of my sink also had a piece of wood right down the middle so I have to squeeze in there sideways to even reach it, along with a huge garbage disposal being in the way (I ended up taking it out but still no luck on trying to loosen that sumbitch slip nut). To top it all off, the little twist nut on the cold water line seems to be stripped or something because when I go to loosen it, it spins back the other direction the second I take the wrench off it.
I give up. I put it all back together, I guess I'm going to have to call someone else and let it be their problem.

What I learned from this is that I really only need a new nozzle head because scale is built up inside it. If such a thing is available for the unit I purchased 12 years ago. Which was a more expensive faucet.
