Wish the official Delta installation guide was this good. After angrily searching their manuals and videos for an hour I found this. THANK YOU
This totally saved more broken parts. I couldn't get the nut loose with everything in the way. I didn't think about just breaking the lines to create more room. My faucet is in the corner which I think is a tighter space than it already is. Snaped the lines, had just enough room to loosen the nut. I was done 15 minutes later. I owe you a beer or 6. Thanks

I used your tip on flushing the lines. Crazy the way the instructions show you. One-man installation you can hang the nozzle line with a pair of channel locks LOOSELY on the line, just to add weight to keep the line from going through the faucet head. Thanks for your video.

Meant “Vise Grips”instead of Channel Locks? Vise grips can lock unto the line… as long as you set the grip very loose as to not crush the line. Or also can use “C” clamp gripping loosely. Or similar items to hold into the line from being pulled through.

Used this video to install the same faucet. You made each step very clear. But I preferred to flush the lines the way Delta says to do, which is to do it before connecting the pull down hose. Thanks.
That is a good call. I prefer not to chance spilling water under the sink.
This video was very helpful with my installation. Much better than the paper “instructions” that came in the box.
50 years ago I did plumbing, and totally forgot how we’d bend the copper tubing to break it off. Most people would use wrenches and end up with a stiff neck and back pain the next day, trying to unscrew the old parts. Thumbs up! Also old cast iron fittings a few good hits with a hammer will save lots of time.

@@ThatFixItGuy I went to the scrap yard this morning, and nearly completed another load. I then worked in my shop for a bit. I'm building a garden tractor from odds and ends. I will need to get it finished up here soon. I don't want to work on it in the afternoons as it gets hotter then.

Help please! The plate that supposed to sit flush under the counter does not fit over the pipe coming down. Yours slid on before you put the nut on, ours has to screw on and there's not enough room to spin it between the sink and the wall

What do you do with the aerator thing? Where does it attach! I didn’t see you use it in the assembly.
Thanks for the video. I appreciate it. Just had my plumber install it a week ago and realized he didn’t use the sponge ring. Also I had low pressure and now no pressure with not cold water coming out only the hot. I am trying to remove the cartridge and see if there are large rubber debris plugging the cold supply. However, I couldn’t get the bonnet cap off this unit. It just turns and turns but not coming off. If you see this comment, can you show me how to remove the bonnet cap. Thank you.

Great video. But what is the aerator for?
Aerator regulates the water coming out of the faucet. With out one high flowing water would go everywhere. Also catches sediment

What about if there is no seal provided or a groove for one? I'm installing onto granite.
I would take it back and get on that has a seal. You could caulk it, but that seal works good
Does using clear silicone from a tube work as well to seal?
What is the aerator tool used for if anything?
clean debris out if the aerator if/when it makes it to the faucet spout.
I know its probably a given, but 1 minute in I am already disappointed someone would put an electrical outlet that low below a water line.
Oh I noticed too. They do bad things around here all the time.

Thanks for this tutorial video. Faucet hose is clogged up, tried of low tuning water so replacing the entire faucet. Have absolutely no clue how to replace it. After watching your video, I kind of have any idea now how to install my sink faucet now. Thanks
