    Great training video. Each 800ml container lasts about 5 mins spraying. Tried painting a small 30m2 roof. With the constant need to refill/filter the paint bottle about 5-6 times, up & down the roof; eventually find it faster and easier using the normal paint brush to paint other parts of roof.

    One recommendation. Use cold water when cleaning the gun. Warm or hot water will cause paint to thicken and make it harder to clean.

    WELL... I know what I'm going to ask Santa for Christmas...
    I am in the middle of painting the outside of my house... STUCCO... and I have painted other Stucco houses, because I used "Flip" houses... but this Stucco house is the hardest one I have ever painted with a Roller... very Thick Stucco...
    I thought All Paint Sprayers were very expensive, so I didn't even try to LOOK up the price.
    I wouldn't care if the Paint Sprayer only lasted only this project... it would be worth it...
    Thank you for this great video

    • @rikanderson4215
      @rikanderson4215 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No you don't always have to. It depends on the paint. You do want it to be a certain viscosity or the sprayer won't work correctly. So yes you always need to check the viscosity, if the paint is good then no you don't add thinner. If it's too thick then yes you add thinner.

    I noticed on mine where the trigger part screws and locks into the motor it doesn't sit flush and pushing the little tab back far enough to slide and click in makes the gasket screw in part at the motor to bow out, is this going to affect anything or should I return it?

    How do you know if you need to put water into the stain? I'm staining a privacy fence.

    • @MyProjectWeekend
      @MyProjectWeekend  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Check your stain, it should have directions on the can. Depending on the sprayer you have you might not need to thin it at all.
      If it is an oil based stain you’ll need to thin it with mineral spirits. You also use mineral spirits to clean up after.

    • @MyProjectWeekend

      It just plugs in. Once it’s plugged in as soon as you pull the trigger it will start to spray. There’s no extra on off switch on the sprayer.

    Mine is used, trying to spray water to see if it works, but water won’t spray, is it because it’s not paint? To thin? Or is it not working? Sounds loud also, as its trigger is pulled……help please?

      I'm having the same problem. I don't see any liquid getting pulled up from the reservoir. I'm wondering if the pump has gone out.

    • @damongalye2535
      @damongalye2535 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nathanthreeleaf4534 I took mine completely apart and played around with it for an hour, and I was almost ready to give up when I had adjusted it all the way from one side of the adjustment all the way to the other then when I opened it up and looked it looked like to me in One Direction all the way would max out the motor which sends something up and down and activating the pump feature. However, it didn’t actually have anything to do with maxing out that adjustment in order to get the pump pumping with maximum first. What it was was a combination of adjusting it and leaving the gun open so you could see the motor was working and, fine-tuning the adjustment from max out then backing off to about 3/4 seem to be the sweet spot and give it a few seconds even though it sounds loud like it’s motor not working properly quite down significantly once it actually starts pumping liquid. It’s just a matter of getting itto start pumping

    You talk about vertical and horizontal spraying by adjusting the air cap then you spray both V & H without adjusting. So are you telling us that rotating/adjusting the air cap is unnecessary? Further more, you are supposed to be teaching us novices to spray using a spray painter. What I am interested in learning is how to adjust the air/paint flow to get the best stream/mist of paint to spray with. You did touch on the adjuster behind the trigger but you never elaborated or showed us by example of actual spraying by testing/gauging the flow for an even finish.
    All the parts and putting the gun together is on the printed diagram but the paint flow and gauging the mist is what I was personally interested in learning. So your video was of very little benefit to me, but thank you anyway.

    I purchased a Wagner Paint Sprayer and it only survived painting my 4 car garage once. The weight of the gun and with the paint in it will destroy your shoulders. Good luck trying to paint a ceiling with one of these, it's a nightmare. Avoid these POS Wagner paint guns at all costs.

      This product will build your biceps it’s that heavy with the 1kg of paint attached !! It’s a lot easier with a brush and no cleaning the product afterwards as you can spend anther 20min cleaning the nuzzled ! I did not see any advantage of getting this having sold the item 2 weeks later on gumtree !!
