little tip for anyone scrolling by new: it is good to analyse your style sometimes! dont stress over finding a style of course, but once you've identified the key features of your art style, it genuinely makes drawing easier as you'll know how to approach stylisation better! (for example, i've realised how there are little to no sharp edges in my style, and simplifying jagged structures is the way for me to go. knowing how you draw can truly be helpful to you, pretty much all the time!)
@@MangoSorbetss desaturation doesn't mean making something lighter. It means that it's less colorful. I probably shouldn't have commented it in the first place though because I don't really care to start an argument it anything
Don’t get me wrong I like your work, however I feel like when it comes to character’s skin tones you really should color pick them then adjust for your color style if needed.
I've noticed I have a similar problem with skin tones where they come out lighter or darker than I intended, so color picking them is definitely a good habit to have.

Character design is such an AMAZING and fun discipline to learn, even tho I'm constantly struggling while designing my ocs, your videos have totally helped me out in the process, TYSM✨
I love how in the very last dtiys Lavendertowne did, she was able to completely change the vibe of the character. The original gave off this majestic, unsettling kind of mystical vibe, while Lavendertowne's was more immature, and wild. It's so cool how just drawing things in different ways/styles can give the art piece a different meaning. This just shows just how much goes into making art ^v^ I love both interpretations so much!

I love the drawings but I do recommend that you color pick skin tones instead of eye balling them. The first girl came out slightly lighter than originally and I think that’s something easy to fix.
I was sort of hoping by the title that this was going to be a video about how the amount of interaction changes depending on which social media platform you're on, but this video idea was fun too! The drawings look great!
I’m just gonna say this. I’ve been watching you for quite a while now and I’m SO proud of how far you’ve come. Even looking at your old intro compared to the new one it’s clear you’ve improved a lot and I’m so amazed how beautiful your artwork is.
To be honest, I find the lines you draw are very clean and the color palette for each character is very cozy and harmonized. I would say the thing I love most is the colour pallete so I've got to say you did great on recreating the OCs in your own style. (The hair colour for the OC from Twitter and the whole palette for the OC from Instagram is honestly so satisfying to look at because it fits so perfectly and is my favourite part)

i was literally just searching for a comment like this ngl 😭 she literally white washed the first character, the first character is clearly poc and she lightened the skin tone and removed poc elements that the original had, just because its in her style doesnt mean she can change the race of the character like that
