- I review this 2005 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner (SR5). First I give you a tour of the exterior and interior of the vehicle. Then I put you in the drivers seat for a POV drive. And finally I wrap it up with my thoughts on the vehicle.

Prerunners come with locking rear diff aswell not only 4x4 its just a locker box

It is rated at 18 combined mpg. I am not the owner though so can't speak to what it actually gets. I'd recommend checking the forums and I am sure you can get some good insight from owners on there. It is a great truck that should last a long time on the farm though with fairly easy maintenance!

It has 236 hp and 266 lbs of torque, not 245 hp.
The 2005 Tacomas were rated for 245hp and 282tq. It had a recommended octane of 91 which gave it higher power.

If the owner doesn't have a need for 4wd then doesn't make sense paying the extra for it. Everyone's gotta buy what works best for them and their needs!
