    I had a very fine line under my right eye and i tried their retinol eye cream for a week. To my surprise it did smoothed out the line. So it works but only for very fine wrinkles. That eye cream convinced me to use their retinol face cream and i love it!

    You may want to try Adapalene, which is also a retinoid. I had the same type of acne as you and it helped loads and dr dray recommends it all thr time too! I still have acne but way less than prior to using it.

    Try to not eat dairy too! I had painful acne all my life. I gave up dairy and my face cleared up, no more lumps or pain. Same for my child. 5 years acne free. Try it, for a few months. You’ll see. And you’re beautiful. Good luck.

    Thanks for uploading this video. Sometimes I get so frustrated because I also have acne and it gets pretty bad from time to time. I saw a dermatologist a few years ago and she told me I had too many androgens… so she prescribed pills to regulate that hormonal unbalance and it worked! For two or three years my skin was ok…now it’s back to normal so I’lI probably go see that dermatologist again. You’re beautiful as always ☺️

    All you need is Noxzema Ultimate Clear Anti-Blemish Pads. My gf had the exact same problems as you. All the stuff she was using was causing all the trouble. She stopped wearing gobs of makeup, and kept her face clean with the pads. The salicylic acid cane be difficult for some people, but you just learn how to adjust. All those clogged pores will go away, along with the pimples.

    Retinol requires two conversions to become Retinoic acid aka tretinoin which explains why it's not as strong as tret. It's a slow process but as you pointed out, it does work! There's a lot of research to back it up. But you're right, it's best to pay a visit to a dermatologist because your acne might be a hormonal issue, which this product (or tret and even adapalene for that matter) won't be able to address.

    • @charliedee2271
      @charliedee2271  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I changed my diet before going to that dermatologist appointment and end up cancelling that appointment because the diet really helped! Hey, just thought I’d let you know that Vaseline IS petroleum. It only has 1 ingredient and that’s petroleum jelly.
    I remember you said in your first video on this product that you watch Dr Dray, and she discusses Vaseline and her opinion on it there.

    • @brianbelcher7279
      @brianbelcher7279 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well i think she's aware but she doesn't want to put petroleum on the majority of her face that gets bumpy. Just a dab under her eyes and on her lips

    • @charliedee2271
      @charliedee2271  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the only thing that actually created a barrier between my skincare and eczema. I think yes, it was playing a roll into my acne but it worked, my skin learnt how to tolerate retinol slowly without giving me eczema. Eczema is 100% times worse than acne and it's just a slower journey for some. Putting a TINY bit of vaseline only in the sensitive areas helps! You can see how my skin cleared up in my recent vid

    Hi! Thank you for this review update! Hope your derm appointment goes well. I get hormonal acne too, and am about to start Neutrogena stubborn marks retinol serum soon. Azclear worked so well for me but I'm after both acne control and antiwrinkle hence the shift to retinol

      Thankyou so much Nicky! I actually put off the derm appointment because I purchased a health powder that levels your hormones along with a glycolic acid face wash. It's been helping so much! Hola omg I waited for this video haha thanks for reviewing after 3 months!! I feel like it's a great product for anti aging but in terms of treating active acne specifically might not be strong enough! Would need a stronger product specifically spot treatment like Adapalene or Tret. Though personally I'd try out adapalene first if you can get Differin over the counter! I heard many good reviews abt it planning to get that myself :)
    For cleanser I've been using the new cerave acne foaming cleanser with 4% BPO every night and honestly I did notice that it does help control my hormonal acne! It's a better option than the Panoxyl too bec it's has additional ingredients like HA, ceramides and niacinamide.
    GOOD LUCK GORL

    Hi, have you tried the Neutrogena clear and defend moisturiser? I'm 37 and still get acne, my face is so sensitive. It's the only moisturiser my skin can tolerate and it's cleared beautifully! Cleanse with a gentle cleanser that has salicylic acid, and then the moisturiser (it has salicylic acid in it) And for single pimples I use benzac 10% cream but haven't for a while since my skin is good now. Just thought I'd share what worked for me 😊
