Olay has always been recommended by top dermatologists since I was a little girl. I am 63 and look like I’m in my forties. Been using Olay since I was 17 due to listening to my Mama❤️ I have no crows feet or wrinkles. I had someone to guess I was 38 one day.😊
Post a picture...this is amazing and I am certain Olay would pay for your story and you would get free products for your remaining years on this planet!
I have used both and prefer Olay products. I used Olay for years, then tried Neutrogena for a few months, and went back to Olay. I had a few breakouts with Neutro and rarely with Olay. It has helped a lot with age spots.
The reason you have breakouts with neutrogena is because of how well it works and fighting acne by clearing pores is what they are really known for. I really wish people would remember that acne breakouts when using a new product is EXACTLY what you want to see. The bacteria in your pores has to go somewhere when a product is repairing, clearing out your pores. I have very oily skin I’m 49. And if I don’t stay on top of things I will get acne. Whenever I have used a new skin product that fights acne no matter how clear I think my pores are if it’s a good product I will breakout for the first couple weeks. But if you stick to it, give it some time to work before you stop using it, you might just find your holy grail product :))
I've been using Oil of Olay products for awhile. Started during my 40's and my skin looks good. I'm 51 and people think I'm in my 30's thank you Oil of Olay love this products. ❤
My grandmother used Oil of Olay. The pink watery kind at first. She was 100 when she passed. I swear she looked like she was in her seventies!♥️ Her skin was so soft and glowy.
I am 81 yrs old now and still using Olay Regenerist and most of my friend ask me if Iwent for surgery . They say I dont look like my ages .thanks Olay Regenerist
Another Washingtonian here! :) I am 61 and my face was dry, spotchy, and wrinkly. For decades I never understood what the hype was about Retinol. I wish I had started using it long ago. I have been using Olay Regenerist 24 for about 3 months now and my husband and I cannot get over the noticeable improvement of my face. He says I look about 40 instead of 61. I drink a lot of water to keep hydrated and wash my face morning and night with CeraVe cleanser which was a miracle and a game changer for me. I also put on Neutrogena spf 70 on my face and wear a hat when I'm outside. In addition to the Olay Regenerist 24, the aforementioned I believe, has helped my face look and feel younger. And speaking of the Neutrogena brand, I did use up a small jar of it and I did like the feel of it on my skin. Thank you so much for this video!
Also a Washingtonian, here! Did the Neutrogena spf 70 leave a white cast on your skin? I found it to be way too greasy for my skin type and it pilled when I tried to use it under a foundation. Did you find that to be the case, as well?
How do you feel about Avene’s Retinaldehyde as a step up? Me: super sensitive skin, dry to normal . Can’t use fragrance, VC. I break out from every Cerave product under the sun. Vanicream girl). Have been on .5 retinol for many, many years…petrified of Tret….wisdom, please…
I have been using Olay moisturizer since I was 35 years old and now that Iam in my 50s, I don’t have any wrinkles at all. The Olay is the one that I will recommend based on my experience.
What type of skin do you have? Oily, combination or dry? Skin type and sun screen, sun avoidance, etc are also additional factors on how wrinkles are develop. So if you’re an oily skin type, whether you’re a II or IV skin type, and you take care of your skin, avoid the sun, take whatever vitamins work for your skin type, take collagen supplements, and wear sun protection you definitely will look better even with good skin type bc you’re protecting and producing more collagen. But way to go. I would bet you’re doing more than just the cream though, am I right? 😉
Hi All, my skin tends to be dry especially as age progresses but the secret is moisturizing and I attest that Olay ( 7 in one moisturizer) worked for me. You can buy it in any pharmacy. I apply it day and night together with Jojoba oil ( get the 100%). I have been doing this for 15 years (since 35 y/o). It’ s a little bit pricey ( $27 or 28) but better than the expensive high end brands.
Neutrogena is best for my skin! I didn’t use moisturiser cream for 10 years, but when I tried Neutrogena for just 1 month , my skin looked 10 years younger. It makes my skin softer and brighter. Since then I bought eye cream, sunscreen of this brand, and it totally good. The price is affordable and there’s lot of choices, would like recommend to all of you!
My pick Neutrogena, used for about a year now the wrinkles on my forehead are all gone. Don't really care about the feel, I prefer what works on my skin.
when i was 18 i had a frown line in the middle of my forehead and i used a neutrogena cream and now i’m 30 and i never seen that wrinkle ever again 😮💨😮💨
I love the Neutrogena one because it's oil-free which helps to control my hormonal acne. Not many drugstore retinoid creams are oil-free so this is definitely a plus for me
Plus did you hear him say his manager designed the cover of Olay. He works for Olay. Not a fair comparison. Thank you for your input. I am going to try Neutrogena.
They don't even make the stuff your mom used though it is not the same and smells different as I used to use it. They reformulated everything or changed something in the 2000s as best I can tell and changed the underlying fragrance and now all the regenerists especially have this terrible plastic smell that I can smell on other people even standing almost 6 feet away. It is terrible. If they made the original stuff in the lake pink bottle I would buy it and if they could get rid of the plastic smell that is so gross and like just being near it makes my eyes feel gross then maybe. Until then there's no way and the person who commented even the fragrance free was perfumes that is why I think. It is this smell the have in all of their stuff and cannot get rid of that means even when no other fragrance is added it is very much strong and there. Anyone know why or what it is. I wondered if it comes from packaging manufacturer or machinery or process. I believe the products do what they advertise but the smell is just too much to deal with all day long. Sorry Olay.
THANK YOU for your comparative analysis! I recently purchased the double package of Olay on sale at Costco and was about to try it without any comparison. I have been using Olay Regenerist for years and I DO NOT LOOK LIKE MY TRUE AGE OF 70 years old coming up very soon on July 4, 2021 !!!
A good idea would to be test two projects by using on opposite sides of the face for a month (or however long) and then, compare the results as far as how the skin looks (smoother etc..)
I've used both. Neutrogena is more moisturizing, in my opinion works better. Good for older dryer skin 50+. Olay is lighter and definitely a dimethicon feel, I personally don't like that feel, works well for younger normal to oily skin.
I have been using Olay for years! That being said, I use Neutrogena cleansers, and I love those. Since Covid started I have been unable to find my ultimate favorite body lotion (Olay Anti-aging 7 signs of aging Body Lotion). I have been purchasing Neutrogena Hydroburst Body Lotion. It's good, but I am devastated that I cannot find my fave. I use both lines in tandem. I absolutely love Olay Retinol! It's silky smooth and it takes away my wrinkles! I am constantly being told I have beautiful skin. Thank you, Olay!! #Olay #Neutrogena #excellentskin
That's all it's going to do. Make wrinkles less noticeable and smaller. No retinol cream is going to get rid of wrinkles permanently. It doesn't work that. You need to have surgery to get rid of wrinkles permanently. That's the only way. Maybe, Botox will do the trick. I don't know. I have never tried Botox for crow's feet or the wrinkles on my forehead. However, I have tried Botox injections for excessive sweating under my arms. It works great!! It lasted over six months. I did it a few years ago. However, it's very expensive and insurance doesn't cover it. I got Botox injections under my arms because I have hyperhidrosis. It sucks big time! I live in Houston, which is even worse.
I too have the Olay Retinol 24. I really like it. The silky texture and it absorbs well into my skin, does not leave me sticky. It's pretty shocking that Olay has become my go to moisturizer.
Olay is my pick Dr. Thank you for answering the questions in the FIRST 20 seconds!!!!!!! THIS IS THE FIRST RESPECTED MAN ON YOU TUBE! If I click on the video.... 1. I want to know the answer.... 2. I want to watch the video... in its entirety! But all of us our busy! For me it’s 3 girls, health issues, and careers. And solving problems and putting out fires and End of the World Tears ...😭 So, thank you for giving me respect as well. And just letting me know the product is great 😊 so I can then hear your review in my evening time. But in the mean time can purchase the one I’m not using. I think OLAY... but we will see???
Good day doc, do you recommend that Olay regenerist 24 for senior? If not suggest one good for seniors and if we are in the Philippines is it also available here. Thank you so much. I used to read/follow your colum.
I started using the Olay Retinol 24 a few weeks ago and love it. I can’t stand anything that leaves a coated, heavy or tacky feel so the texture of the Olay is perfect for me. I’ve seen an improvement in my skin in just a short time!
@@hunerjalal1986 Check out something from The Ordinary that’s a “buffet” serum (something with multiple products in it) that has Agireline peptide and Matrixyl. According to a video I watched (haven’t yet tried it), it’s like “Botox in a cream” because it reduces wrinkles. Worth checking out anyways.
After a very stressful 2 years I noticed a ton of fine lines on my face. Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair has helped get rid of those fine lines and sometimes I add some rosehip oil on top.
I love the line of Olay products but this one is my favorite. I've been using it for about a month now and my skin is brighter, softer and looks better overall.
I have tried both. I also like Olay better. I just started getting wrinkles at 66. My sister has deep wrinkles. I feel good about it being 10 years older. Having sensitive skin, use what works for me.
Have been using Oil of Olay products since I was 18, now 66. Folks say I look 52. No fills, no botox. Now I love the retinol product they make and the silky way it feels. Like nothing else. Not greasy ever.
Youre just like my mom. She’s been using Olay since as long as I remembered and her skin looks so much better compare to other women her age even her younger sister looks older than my mom. Now I am too using Olay and some other Korean skin care products.
I love the neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair. I have very dry skin so I love how thick and creamy it is. I just finished a full jar and opened a fresh new one last night. They just seem SO SIMILAR to me that saving about $10 or more is a great reason for me to stick with neutrogena rwr. I am noticing a difference in skin texture and the amount of time my acne takes to heal. Thanks for putting up a comparison for us all!
@@danielsugaimd You're such a nice man, with great family values. I live on the east coast, it's nice to connect with people from coast to coast. May you continue to be blessed in your practice.
I was using very expensive Rodan and Fields anti-aging line w/ retinol for years and decided to try the Neutrogena because it was a better price and had such good reviews. Inside of two weeks, I could tell the retinol in the Neutrogena SA was MUCH more effective in reducing fine lines and dark spots, and generally toning/tightening... and so much less expensive than the Rodan and Fields. I’ve been using the Neutrogena now for a couple years and I’ll never go back! I actually only use it with the eye cream and serums at night and during the day use a L’oréal day cream... but I use Neutrogena SA eye cream day and night. It’s a little strong for my sensitive skin (I’m 65 and I can’t use it on my neck, but do use it on the décolleté) but after using it only every other day for a week or two, my skin is totally adjusted to it now and I use it nightly. VERY important: I would NEVER wait for my skin to “dry out” after washing before applying a moisturizer. That would be a huge mistake. Moisturizer works best and holds in any slight moisture after washing and towel drying. This is true of any moisturizing lotion used on legs, arms, any part of the body. Obviously, dry off with a towel but apply moisturizer immediately. While I do appreciate the review, without knowing the exact amount of retinol, retin-A or tretinoin (which is the anti-wrinkle agent) in each product, Olay or Neutrogena, how can their efficacy possibly be compared? The thickness and lightness of the cream is good to know, but not that important to me.
The reason you need to dry out your skin before applying retinoids is because, AFAIK, the water gives your skin a higher PH. Adding retinoids to damp.skin will increase the chance of irritation. Your skin might be able to handle it but not so for others. Putting on damp skin is okay for regular moisturizers but not advisable for retinoids.
@@topquark35 I agree with you. My skin is very sensitive and it get irritated easily. Letting it dry for 20 mins before applying my retinol has helped, also using moisturizer after.
I also have used and love the Neutrogena one, for YEARS. I find it interesting though, that no one seems to know (or state) what percent of the active ingredients are in these products, or what is the recommended percent needed for maximum benefits. That goes for any of the current ingredients touted to be so beneficial. I wonder if my skin looks good because I wear sunscreen and hats and glasses and not because of the cream I put on it.
@@ponygirlusa the number one thing that makes me not want to buy a product/support the company is them not clearly advertising the percentages of ingredients. I mean not necessarily each ingredient but the ones that you buy it for like retinol for example.. Like give a good hearted reason for not letting the consumers know how much is in it?
I do the same! On my face I use my RX RetinA and slather the Neutrogena on my face, neck and chest. Zero irritation and it’s the only thing my neck will tolerate.
So glad to hear that the Olay 24 won the battle, Neutrogena breaks me out. I placed my order on Costco the other day after watching your review on Olay24, wish me luck! Thank you for your videos and how you show the products in depth.
I have been using neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair for a couple months.... The first time I bought a face cream where I actually noticed changes within a week...I am 74 my face especially around my eyes and cheeks has a fresh look seriously does!!! My well earned wrinkles are not gone but I see a change of freshness a little younger maybe!!! I have spent so much money over the years and believe me I am really happy with the results....a couple friends have tried it because of if excitement and they also see a difference.... It's not a major difference like I had a facelift but it's there's just looking fresh and smooth makes a difference in the way I feel!!!
I just started using the Olay 24 Max night cream about a month ago and I notice a huge difference in my skin. Previously, I used The Ordinary 2% retinol for a year and the Olay has done more for my skin in a month than TO did in a year! Worth the $$$
I use the Ordinary 2% also but would prefer using a cream. The reason I don’t is because no cream that I have found contains this sort of percentage. Your comment has made me rethink. Maybe it’s not just about retinol percentage. Thank you for sharing your experience x
@@Roxyroo1959 the Olay cream has a beautiful texture. It’s like silk on my skin and I will continue using it! I use it every night except the one night I use The Ordinary glycolic acid.
@@danielsugaimd thank you, would you please also speak to the labeling with regard to the retinol content in a video? When some well-liked retinol creams list retinol % in amounts similar to Retin-A ranges (0.05%), and others say up to 2.5%, it makes me wonder if there’s either some weasel-wording going on in the products that claim higher retinol content, or whether the low-retinol products are counting on consumers seeing the low % and assuming it’s the same ingredient as retin-a.
@@chunara Smile lines are more permanent. They tend to be in use (smile) more than a more”fixed” area, even under eyes. You are also dealing with more muscle in the smile area. It may improve but will not remove.
@@chunara Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide & Vitamin B3+, Fragrance-Free. I would use this for your eyes. I do.
I have the exact opposite response to these products. I have tried both, and in my opinion, the Olay is rubbish. It may be lighter and go on silky, but who cares if It doesn’t work. I saw no noticeable difference in my skin with the Olay, whereas the Neutrogena gave a noticeable improvement within days. This is one product that actually works...reduces pores, improves brightness and texture of skin, and reduces wrinkles. A keeper for sure!
Neutrogena is a great product and I will continue to recommend! As you know, one size does not fit all and everyone has different experiences with these products. My reviews definitely have subjectivity to it as it is difficult to compare strengths of otc retinols. Thx for sharing your thoughts
If you never tried number 7 great product after using it for about a month which I've been using quite a long time now I seen a big difference I love it
No7 it s great!! But if you have sensitive skin it can irritate. By the 2nd week my skin was red, inflamed!! It took more than a week to calm my skin down, and get back to normal. Most of these products do depend on skin type!!
I am approaching 40 and live in a tropical country. I have been using Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 night mosturizer and combine it with Olay Retinol 24 night serum for 2 months now. I am still on my first bottles. I'd say, I love the silky texture which lasts until morning, feels light on my skin . my wrinkles as well as pore are visibly improving. Hadn't experience any breakouts (which i still occasionally have) since using these two. Previously I used prescribed Retinols (Retin A), but as i aged, it become too harsh on my skin. Loving this product by Olay
I have oily, acne-prone skin. The Neutrogena works amazingly well for me, and it's significantly cheaper than Olay. I have not tried the Olay so I can't say if it's better. I could not care less about what the packaging looks like, but it would be nice if it came in a tube not a jar. I'll also add that there is a super cheap retinol cream called Nicel that I've found in dollar stores for ONE DOLLAR that also works very well. If I could find it I would buy it and use it. Once I tried using retinol on my neck, and I got an ugly purple rash that lasted for two weeks, so I'll never do that again.
Note to self: watch this before buying another skin care product! My dermatologist recommended Neutrogena (before the Olay product was sold), so I use that. Only wish I'd started using it sooner.
That's the name! When I was younger my mom had a moisturizer I liked to steal and I remembered it had retinol. But for the life of me I could not remember the name. It was Nicel!!!! Thank you! Looks like I have to go on the hunt as well.
As you spoke after applying each I noticed the Neutrogena side of your face actually looked brighter and clearer and more moisturized than the olay side.
Yes I noticed it right away when he was putting it on..I have been using Neutrogena ..Is the best works right away..than olay that I have these peosixta
I have both products. Love them both. I have very dry and dehydrated skin and I found myself liking better, the way my skin feels the next morning, after using the Nitrogena. But both are great.
I’ve tried both and agree with you Dr! There is something about the Olay that is so silky and luxe. The neutrogena feels great as well but the Olay is something really special.
Yes, their Night Recovery Cream feels like satin going on! I actually look forward to my bedtime routine due to this, even though I dislike washing my face because it makes such a mess.
Not a fan of the Olay. It's that 'silky' feeling you speak of. Feels like there is something in there that prevents it from getting into the skin. It felt to me like it sat on top of my skin. I feel this with all the Olay products. Conversely, I totally LOVE the Neutrogena! I've been using it for about 2 months now and I notice a huge difference. PS: I'm 59 and it's helped my wrinkles and sun spots.
I’ve enjoyed Olay regenerist but have walked away from the pricey Olay products. $38-40 is no long drugstore price. Walgreens occasionally has buy 2 get 3rd free but you’re forced to spend more than buying a single product. Neutrogena is somewhat reasonably priced so far.
Interesting! I'm 68 and hope retinol, no wheat, sugar, high carb foods plus fasting at least 16 hrs a day and exercising plus taking the right supplements, like resveritrol, Vit D3, K2, collagen, turmeric, maximizing my diet will keep me looking as young as I do today.
@@sunrae7680 I much prefer my salads and stirfries not run thru a blender. Berry season's here, too! I eat about 8 cups of veggies per day. Sirtuin-rich foods are the new resveritrol.
Based on your recommendation Olay for the win. For myself boosting collagen is very important to my skin care routine. I’m so glad your channel came up today. Thank you 😊
I’ve been using Olay forever… I’m 72 and don’t have a single wrinkle. I’m often asked what I use for skincare. I was so excited when Olay offered the new Retinol 24. I tried the expensive products but soon came back to Olay. I’m here to stay with Olay. Great tutorial, but Buddy, make your bed next time☺️
Since your review . I agree . I tried the Olay and I love it! My skin feels so soft and silky with no smell. It’s wonderful. I’m not a fan of smells in products. The feel is great. No burn, no sting. No chemical smell. My nose is very sensitive to chemical smells. So loving the Olay 24.. The Neutrogena makes my skin peel.
I have a similar problem with a lot of products. My nose runs and my eyes sting and water. Any eye issues for you at all? I've wasted money buying creams that I can't use because of the effect on my eyes, even when I keep it well away from my eyes.
@@squeaker19694 I have the same prob as you with my eye and eye skin sensitivity. Even most mineral sunscreens cause me problems! I would not try the Neutrogena product if I were you. It even states on the label that it may sting, and I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying that it does. Between the two, I’d definitely do the Olay one. Make sure, though, you don’t get the newer Regenerist Retinol 24 “MAX” product, as it contains a higher amt of retinol than regular 24, which would possibly cause you probs.
@@LoveABun I found a great product here in Australia. It's called software. No fragrance or extra filler. As for sunscreen, I have found myself a very broad brimmed hat, and wear a tubular bandana over my face and neck and a long sleeved shirt. I get quite hot and sweaty though but I'd rather that than stinging eyes and runny nose.
I don’t like the silicone in Olay. It does makes my pore less visible but it could has that “shredding dead skin” thing when you rub it in. I will swap to neutrogena next time to see if I will like it better
I have both. I bought the olay first because supposedly it contains more star ingredients relative to the neutrogena one. But after using it for a few weeks I started disliking it because of how drying it is and also it leaves a powdery finish (I have oily skin). I started using the neutrogena one a few days ago and already notice how my skin is more supple and healthy looking.
I've used both. I like the Neutrogena one better. I do like the Olay Whip w/ spf for daytime though. I am a woman of a certain age LOL....and I have no wrinkles on my neck or face.
Thanks Dr. Sugai, Your information about retinol is extremely value. I've been paying $100s in crems for my face, like Clarins "Extra Firming Jour, wrinkle control" & Haute Exigence Jour, Multi intensive, Super restorative, but, honestly I don't see a lot of improving. Lately I decided to tried retinol for my rides in the fronthead and I see the diference. @@danielsugaimd I am very sensitive and the first month I felt the face very red and everything caused me irritation but I kept on going and changed my cleanser for a super mild one and a better moisturizer ( la roche posey Toleriane ) and now everything works. It is a very potent formula but gentle now that I lnow how to handle my skin.
It’s interesting that you’re so positive about the packaging of the Olay-that’s the reason I’ve decided to quit buying it! I bought the package of two jars of Olay’s perfectly nice retinol cream from Costco, and regret it. That clear plastic jar (with another much smaller plastic container inside it) is COMPLETELY UNRECYCLABLE. It’s become painfully clear in recent months that almost no plastic is actually recycled, but Olay doesn’t even pretend to care, as this clear, heavy, attractive jar doesn’t even have a number on its bottom. I’ll be buying the Neutrogena next- it’s probably also not likely to be recycled, even with a number in a triangle…but at least there’s a lot LESS of it to go into the trash and sit there for the next 1000 years.
I use the Olay Retinol 24 (thanks to you) but I find it rather difficult to use a "pea" size amount because it feels so good!!! I wish I could bathe in it. My skin loves Olay Retinol 24. Thanks for recommending it.
Brandie, I'll try and answer! Lol. Yeah I guess it is what u tryfirst, and if you like it, u just become brand loyal. I think the neutrogena is thicker, and I think it was like 6$ cheaper than olay. Not married to it..you can buy a very small jar for like 10$ to see what you like.actually lasted more than 3 weeks .. Mof I'm sure they are very close to the same ingredients .good luck!
I'm on my first jar of the Neutro. Had it for awhile, but just started using it nightly a week or so ago. I'm liking the results. My skin is super dry, but the cream is slightly heavy. I might use it for my "winter" routine, and try something lighter during the hot, humid, Virginia summers. (I have "summer" and "winter" sunscreens too.) Will give the Olay a trial for sure.
I live in CA now and I think every single day how grateful I am to be away from that humidity. I do not miss the puddle forming inside of my bra, the out of control hair or the miserable summers. My skin care is totally different now that's for sure!!

Been using neut one for almost 3 years it works. Now I've moved onto Retin A micro. I enjoy neut more because they have over 20 years of retinol research and patents as well.
thanks Doc! I'm trying to decide between them but living in a desert climate has turned me off hyaluronic acid. (I tried a simple hyaluronic acid once & my skin shriveled up) so it's the olay for me.😎
I prefer Olay coz its was used by my mother--in-law who had still a beautiful skin until she died at the age of 80 in 1999 and it was just a regular Olay moisturizer!

Did the Neutrogena spf 70 leave a white cast on your skin? I found it to be way too greasy for my skin type and it pilled when I tried to use it under a foundation. Did you find that to be the case, as well?
Thank you for your feedback. It’s very helpful. One question, Which CeraVe cleanser do you use?
Yep. CeraVe and Olay here too
I tried both and found the Olay irritating. Loving the results from the Neutrogena. Don’t forget the back of your hands.
The Olay has a lot of preservatives, more than any other in a test. Not recommended at all.
The Olay is the one that I will recommend based on my experience.
where do you buy these, are they on the shelves at the Pharma?
What type of skin do you have? Oily, combination or dry? Skin type and sun screen, sun avoidance, etc are also additional factors on how wrinkles are develop. So if you’re an oily skin type, whether you’re a II or IV skin type, and you take care of your skin, avoid the sun, take whatever vitamins work for your skin type, take collagen supplements, and wear sun protection you definitely will look better even with good skin type bc you’re protecting and producing more collagen. But way to go. I would bet you’re doing more than just the cream though, am I right? 😉

I'm new to skin care. You're saying that it is worth the money? And it's the Olay more expensive?
Thank you.. I will definitely go with Neutrogena first.. 🌹
I agree. I've been using the Neutrogena for a couple of months now and the difference in my skin is amazing. I don't find it too heavy at all.
The thanks for letting everyone know. I'll buy Neutrogena product

My pick Neutrogena, used for about a year now the wrinkles on my forehead are all gone. Don't really care about the feel, I prefer what works on my skin.

I love the Neutrogena one because it's oil-free which helps to control my hormonal acne. Not many drugstore retinoid creams are oil-free so this is definitely a plus for me

Olay has been in business for years, it can’t be for nothing-that’s always my go to brand since my grandmother used to use it!
Good point! Thank you!🙏🏼🤙
They don't even make the stuff your mom used though it is not the same and smells different as I used to use it. Sorry Olay.
Neutrogena has been on the market for way longer time than Olay
I’ve used that on and off for 45 years, and I really like it.🤷♀️ It feels so nice.
That is amazing and thank you for sharing! Happy early birthday!🙌🙌🙌
I have been happy with the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. I started using it after my dermatologist's office recommended it
A good idea would to be test two projects by using on opposite sides of the face for a month (or however long) and then, compare the results as far as how the skin looks (smoother etc..)
Good idea. The comparison should not be only on tactile feeling and teoretical especulations.
I've used both. Neutrogena is more moisturizing, in my opinion works better. Good for older dryer skin 50+.
Olay is lighter and definitely a dimethicon feel, I personally don't like that feel, works well for younger normal to oily skin.
I have never tried this retinol product. However, I do use Neutrogena products. They are excellent!! 💖
Hi do you pair it with any peptides ?? Like Olay Regenerist night recovery cream Thank you
I have been using Olay for years!
I prefer Neutrogena 100%. After 3 months I do see better skin nothing super different but wrinkles are less deep.
Please, does it remove wrinkles?
@@nathanssegawa7730 not exactly I will say it soften them.

Check out something from The Ordinary that’s a “buffet” serum (something with multiple products in it) that has Agireline peptide and Matrixyl.

How's it going? Are you still using it? I would like to check it out since I have dry skin and prefer thicker scentless creams.
Rodan & Fields is rubbish. It’s the same brand that brought you Proactiv. At this point they’re basically a marketing brand.
It's not a major difference like I had a facelift but it's there's just looking fresh and smooth makes a difference in the way I feel!!!
I have oily skin. I'm a big fan of the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum.

After your video, definetively, I'll buy Olay Regenerist Retinol Moisturizer, and hopefully I will get better results.
Again, thanks a lot Doc. I love your personality...😄🌟👌
I just bought the one from Olay Regenerist 24/7 for your recommendation and oh my God 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 is so good I really love it.I so glad I star with this retinol 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes your right,a big applause to this company Procter n Gamble, who really made this amazing product which really recommended to all,cuz I spend a lots of dollars buying so many different creams, serums n etc..thanks to this awesome Doctor who gives us the feedback for this Olay regenerist retinol 24.🙏🙏🙏thanks Doc n GodBless you a beautiful life ahead.👍
That is great to hear that you love it, cause I am waiting for mine to arrive. I watched his video on it and ordered it right then and there. Hoping it works for me, I have sensitive skin.
So good to hear!!👍🙌
@@emmasecillano6976 thank you!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have been using Olay for a year now and I am loving it. People think I am 19 years old but I am actually 35 🥰😉
I just started using the Neutrogena and I love it so far.
Me too It’s been 3 months and I do use a moisturizer on top
Good to hear! It’s a solid affordable retinol. I will continue to recommend it.
@@cristinitaandco thank you, that’s a great insight.
That's a very valid point, thankyou.
Hi, I'm using Olay Retinol24 , allmost 1 month, my aim is forehead wrinkles Just turned 40 but forehead wrinkles is more😌x from London
Nice!🙌🙌🙌🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I use the Olay Retinol 24 (thanks to you) but I find it rather difficult to use a "pea" size amount because it feels so good!!! I wish I could bathe in it. My skin loves Olay Retinol 24. Thanks for recommending it.
Awesome to hear!! Thank you for watching, Aleyda!🙏🏼🤙🙌🙌🙌
@@danielsugaimd hi I just wanted to ask i just turned 40 do you think it's good for my age love your videos 👌🤗
@@karimaramzi6355 yes, sam here waiting for his reply..ive just heard about retinol so i want to try
@@karimaramzi6355
Yes, using retinol is good for your age because it helps skin cell turnover and helps skin look smoother, brighter, etc..
Great content. I was hesitated to use Olay Retinol at first, but your video last time gave me confidence to buy it. Thanks doc! 🙌☺️
Great to hear! Thank you so much for watching the videos! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤙🤙
I am using olay for face and eyes and trust me it really works!!! So happy with it😍
I have used both and definitely prefer Neutrogena.
Janice, would you mind telling why? I’m trying to decide.
Me too janice. Feels so good, I love it
Brandie, I'll try and answer!
I alternate between the two, and also use Roc retinal cream.
Love all three!!
I started used retinol 24 for.1week now and omg the result was awesome,my pimples dried up ang dark dark spot is gradually fading so inlove😍
I need this product plz
Try the gel, it’s like water that doesn’t dry up.
Neutrogena is the best. I am using the night and day cream its so good and also the facial peel off mask proven
Love Neutrogena as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!🙏🏼🤙
I prefer the texture of the Neutrogena. I bought the sample size of the Olay, and felt it wasn’t as occlusive.
Thanks for the review!
That is true! It is lighter. I really like Neutrogena’s and can’t wait to talk about their newer retinol oil soon. 👍👍👍
Thanks for the comparison, love Neutrogena but have been curious about the Olay product
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow, thanks Doc! I’m happy to have seen this video & I am glad because I have been using Olay Regenerist.
I think I will buy both! They both have good things. I like a thick cream, too
Thank you for helping me figure out my skin care plan and what I should be using! 🌸. Helps on not wasting Money on products that either are not meant for my skin or age!!!! Love your Channel!!!!💕🇨🇦🌺🌸
Thank you so much for saying that!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
So the creams actually have some benefits for the skin, but not exactly what they claim.
Love the Olay. Started using several months ago. Makes my dry face feel and look so much better.
🙌🙌🙌yes!!
@@danielsugaimd can I use the Olay with skin issues like seborrheic derm?
Can i use oly for oily sensitive skin?
I am 28 female and I use Olay I’ve been told I look 21 thanks Olay ❤️
I don't use any products I'm 60 years old and people tell me I look like I'm in my early 50's
@@cheri7054 thank your parents for their good genes.
I have used both. I feel OLAY products cost too much for drug store products. To each of thier own. I like Neutrogena. It fits my budget.
Finally the skin authority vlogs!!! None other than dermatologists!!
Been using neut one for almost 3 years it works. Now I've moved onto Retin A micro. I enjoy neut more because they have over 20 years of retinol research and patents as well.
Amazing to hear you like it! 👍🙌
Thank you for this review. It helped me a lot what to buy and used. Keep it up! Greetings from the Philippines!
Your neutrogena side actually looks brighter and smoother.
Nice- thanks for your input. I am trying out Neutrogenas retinol oil layered with the cream and it’s amazing too 👍👍
Could be that side is fuller, because he sleeps on the other side.
Ordinary retinol range is amazing too . I got no wrinkles
Found you by accident. So glad! I get so frustrated trying to compare all the pricey products in the store myself. Subscribed.
