Good afternoon Christina, what a lovely project for the animals in the home. Gabriel is a beautiful dog, he is of excellent stock and I am sure he will grow into a very handsome specimen!! The weather was not too grand the day you ventured out to collect Gabriel, but it was so worth the early rise and the travel expedition. Ryan is so happy with Gabriel and the dog has really taken to him as well. Lying at his feet having a snooze shows he trusts his new owner fully. The basket turned out so beautiful as all the other previous projects. You will be one big happy family. Our winter season has also started, usually the skies are as blue as can be with no clouds, alas, lately the clouds just keep rolling in from the Eastern side of the country, a strong old wind which is most unpleasant. I think it is time to investigate what is in the knitting containers and get myself sorted out as well. Thank you for sharing the journey with us, it was a lot of excitement and looking forward to the next, cannot imagine what you will share with us. Thank you so much for this tutorial, especially the new puppy. I taught myself how to knit about 35 years ago because I am a lefty, but crocheting is another thing, still practicing! My daughter has a standard poodle also and he is just 13, and I babysit him all the time, he loves doggie play but is only three days a week now that he is getting older. He is never left alone so his Ma is the only one that can stay with him, and I just love him sooo much. He is so jealous when I kiss my son-in-law good bye and my granddaughter also. 3 boys now?! Too darn cute on the little one Love how Mr. Hatley had to try the new bed out and give his 'approval'. I love dogs so much and can't even imagine life without at least one. I thought our last one would be our LAST ONE, but then the next one happened and here we are and I know there will be another in the future. We have a mild 😉 dog addiction here!
We had similar plans to not have more than one when our previous dogs passed away.
But feel exactly the opposite when we were in that situation!
I couldn’t imagine life without dogs too!

As I'm watching this I can't help but think I want a blanket made from his fur! He looks so soft and shiny. His white snout is so perfect that he looks fake. He is just so gorgeous!
