i bypasss the wrangle expression by using match size node with center min to z and using a sort node and choose close to origin so the bottom point will always be the 0 !
Thanks! By selecting the vellum solver and in the Parameters tab there is a gear icon on the top right. There you can change the Parameter Interface and add any Attributes you like
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I am having a few problems though. The bottom part of my strings are all in the right position when viewing through the glue constraint, but when I add the dopnet they all go to the 0, 0, 0 coordinates. Apart from that everything works perfectly! How could I fix that?
I was having issues with the mesh exploding and I think it was due to the merge order i was using when merging the geo / constraints. Seems this matters so be wary of this
Really nice tutorial! I just have the problem that the string just keeps expanding, it doesn’t really hold the balloon..do maybe know what could cause this?
Hey man if I buy your hip file from gumroad will i have access to copy that vellum solver with Pop or Detach attribute to my own hips? By the way GREAT tutorial
I'm sorry, but I found at least 4 C4D tutorials that made dynamic bunches of balloons and the all took from 7 to 15 minutes to do from scratch This took 36 minutes and it was already built. I really regret getting Houdini this year and want to go back to C4D, especially with its new powerful particle system.
Great explanation Fabian. Learned alot watching this. And thanks for sharing the file❤
Through breakdown . Thanks for the clear demonstration of the node graph
I really appreciate your style of teaching. Great stuff!

Fabian, thank you so much 💛
soo comprehensive and well thought
Great video, i like it 😊 Nice work. It encourages me to creat more video and learn new tools.
hello, balloon is bowed here and there after adding the vellum weld @21:00,why?
very high quality tutorial, thank you so much
Awesome thank you!
Supreme !! 🤯💫
Thanks for making this tutorial. How did you created integer attribute on vellum solver?

Hello, just wanted to let you know I tried to download your file but it says not currently for sale.
Lovely tutorial
Hey, thanks for mentioning it. It works for me, not sure why it does no work for you :/
@@FabianStrube I can't buy it either (from spain)

Thanks alot! I would try to lower the mass of your balloon and/or higher substeps on the vellum solver.
Thanks a lot I will try it!
great, thanks
Is there a way to achieve this in blender
pls make a materialX tutorial, there is no one on internet
Ideally one, that considers importing point and primitive attributes, maybe even arrays, I'd say ; )

Thanks! Yes you can access every node and copy it wherever you like!
@@FabianStrube Perfect! In another time i will search how you modify the vellum solvers
I want someone to hold the balloons, how can I animate the string_ground_pin position to their hand please?
Hi Kyle, you can select a point on your character's hand as a pon for the string and set it to match animation :)
@@FabianStrube thank you!!
what if i wanted to detach the string at the ground level?
I also can't work out how you added the detach integer to the vellum solver
