Awesome presentation from Paul, as usual! Always manages to deliver advanced concepts in the simplest ways while also making it entertaining and being very humble about it! Thank you for your efforts, Paul, the entire community appreciates it! I was wondering if the hip files will be available since I most likely missed some of the details you went over.
Any questions... dead silence. I have a question - what kind of computer processing power is needed to do these frames like the blobby hairs and flowers?
Hey Graham, the blobby hairs and flower stuff was pretty fast. I have a pretty old Threadripper 3970x and 128gig ram. So, not a bad computer, but also not super new and fast. It's just a matter of file caching as you go so you're not simulating everything at one time.
@@PaulEsteves28 Thanks for the talk, Paul. Any chance to get a little intro video on the LV tools? If I see it correctly there isn't any documentation?
@@PaulEsteves28 hahahaha Paul I was just kidding and feel ur ironic explanation I’m selling a collection rn on Vinted, it’s 3€ bucks each shirt second hand!
You can do a lot with vops instead of vex Sops. Houdini artists just grew very used to using vex because it's faster and more convenient a lot of times.
this just saved my day !! thanks so much
I'm super excited that these got recorded and uploaded. 🙏
I watched this on my phone and will watch it again on my computer when I get home. Paul's presentations are always exciting and beautiful.
omg so thankful that you guys upload the recording! Couldnt attend Paul's session due to the queue at the physical venue!
So glad we have you Paul, good stuff!

Absolute legend.
He Is a genius! Where can we get the demo scenes?
26:45 pinnning your yloth sim to the hairs works better then pinnting your hairs to the clothsim.
Thats is very good information 😊

So good thank you !
i tried multiplying the edge_growth attribute with mops_falloff attribute and it didn't work. Has anybody faced the same issue like me?
