I'm new to boating and just got my first job boat. Your content is extremely helpful and informative. Currently building a predator 670 with a beaver dam.thank you for what you do. And in hopes of getting into the haters corner, here is an awful joke. What is worse than ants in your pants?....... Uncles.
Hey that rubber o ring deal is pretty sweet. I’ve got a couple here and there on different stuff. But I use a plastic kayak eye on one side then the hook on the other. This way it all stays attached. Just put a zip tie on it or 550 cord for a handle. Once they broke since I riveted in the kayak rope loop things, I just used 1/4” bungee cord and that works better cause after you tie the knot. It’s already got a handle to grab with the extra after the knot.
The cooler seat has been one of my favorites so far. Super comfy and I like having the option of using for a cooler, livewell, or dry storage if needed.
My sub floors are made of milk crates cut up and pieces to size. With just matt on top. And if you do roller liner on again, use the rust oleum one, but put play sand in it. It will keep the non skid forever but also comes out with a really even consistency instead of the weird dragging and running it does just by itself.
Glad to see some content on the ole boat! That build is the perfect cat rig. How has that predator held up without billet rods ? I wanna use a performance 670 governor bracket to get my stock mud motor up in the 4300 rpm range but I’m not sure if valves will float 🤔. Your opinion ?
So far it's holding up good. Been running it around 4500rpms pretty constantly. I did the heavier valve springs when I ported the heads so I have not had any valve float issues. I plan on doing the performance 670 cam and rods at some point in the future to see what kind of increase in performance I can get. But so far it has been a really good engine.
Hey scooter, how many sheets of stencils did you use on your paint job? How much did you pay for them? Do you have any links for the shop you got them from? How much paint in total did you end up using? Thanks bro!
700ish bucks, I didnt even count how many sheets but I will never ever ever do it again. Total waste of time and money. I scratched the hell out of it within the first 2 trips out on the water. I used 1 gallon of paint and almost 1 gallon of clear.
@@SendItJonBoats ha cool, I live like 3 miles from the 83 bridge so usually put in there or in Juliette depending on what I’m doing. Maybe I’ll run into you some day.
Yeah and I felt like a total dumb dumb the first time I spun the trolling motor around and it ripped the plug out. Im glad I got it fixed but dang it pissed me off.

Ha Ha, I love dark humor dad jokes! love it. Thanks for watching.
I thinking how difficult those rivets seem to be - and then you said they were stainless - that makes sense!
I was riding the struggle bus trying to get those rivets in, then I realized they were stainless, duh me!!!! Only took 2 months for my finger to heal.
Cant wait to see all the other videos you are coming out with!!! Hope to learn some stuff!!
Thank you, Look forward to pumping out some more videos soon and sharing some of the things I learned.
Good to see you back brother!!!
Glad to be back, and thanks for watching.

That is a good idea. I will have to try that.
We need more “Send It”!!!
Mo' Send It comin soon!
Definitely like the cooler seat mod. Definitely need to upgrade my battery boat balast anchor sinker too

"My strong hand!" LOL, another Scary Movie 2 Fan!
Love that movie, and I'm glad someone picked up on it. I figured I would have tons of strong hand comments.

Milk crates? Now that's a clever idea! I like it.
@ easy to clean and drain. Free…
I use the bunk slide on my trailer boat drives right on.
Yeah thats good stuff. Thanks for watching.
G'day awesome video and my strong hand got me 😂😂😂😂
LoL. Hey Murph, glad you liked the strong hand... even though it was a painful had for a few mo the after I cracked my nail in half
@SendItJonBoats I know the pain I almost lost my hand a year ago. So I know how painful nails can be
It was not a fun experience, but it finally healed a few months later.
That electrical tape bandage 😂 this medic approves. I can never work on #sonoranmudcat without hurting myself.
Ha ha... bro, my finger was jacked up for months after that. Luckily I filmed that earlier this year.

Was that the hwy 83 bridge around the 20 minute mark?
No, I was on the Yellow River on that particular trip. I do go down to the 83 bridge on the Ocmulgee sometimes. Good fishing down there.

@@SendItJonBoats where is the yellow river at? I’ve been looking for some new water to explore
You are more of a man than me. I would just get a 25$ air rivet gun from harbor freight
Man I'm glad you brought that up. I have been meaning to get one of those and I keep forgetting about it. Thanks for reminding me.
Flex seal is even cheaper.
why is nobody talking about the ants all over his cooler lol
I dunno, but I left that in there specifically to see if anyone was paying attention.
Blood and tears! LOL. Not just me.
This boat has been responsible for more injuries than any boat before. I'm wearing a lot of scars from this boat lol.
Ha ha, you thought it was going to be easy. That was the first fuck up!
Bwwahhaa... when it comes to boat builds it never is easy.
Worst mistake people make is messing with the "Center of Gravity" it will get you killed.
I made the trolling motor mistake😂
Yeah and I felt like a total dumb dumb the first time I spun the trolling motor around and it ripped the plug out. Im glad I got it fixed but dang it pissed me off.
Your boat is made of aluminum, right?
Yes it is. 1979 Lowe 1648 jon boat.
Hey 71 is the new 61 and I’m just sayin, if you need someone to hold the camera. Orrr
LOL, as long as she don't blow out a hip, I'm down like 4 flat tires!
@LIKE #14!!! 😊😊😊
#14? What I miss, or did I have too much haterade today?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad you got a laugh, thanks for watching.
There I was thinking, look at him doing pop rivets like a man, then boom back to a girl. Ill give you 1/2 a man point. But good video 😂
Dude, I had to edit out the tears and 27 minutes of screaming.... it hurted my mangina! LOL
Thanks man I’m building 1432 took hints from you making a Flathead boat looking at mud skipper twister xl comments?
I havent used a twister yet but I am going too at some point, I see a lot of mixed reviews but my buddies over at AZ Longtails love the twister.
