I've had my trusty 450 G1 since 2014 and will look foward to upgrade it.
By the way, Do you know how I can totally remove the optical drive and just put a cover? I really want to remove some weight on this laptop

regarding your question: just remove the screw in this picture i send you and slide the silver metal tot he right and the drive will come out and remove the face place off the drive and glue it to the empty space .

@@uFixTek is it possible to use the CDrom space for the SSD and keep the HDD in place and use it for extra storage?
@@robdizzel420 yes you can remove the dvd drive and place a dvd to hdd caddy and use it as 2nd storage.

regarding your question: i recommend the SSD 1st and see the difference and then if you want you can increase ram. but SSD is very very important.

regarding your question: not with 4590 it must be a mobile CPU (M) and it has to be the right socket
