I have hp pavilion ec2004ax (ryzen 5 5600h) laptop 😎. It comes with 8 gigs of ram, 512 gig ssd and with an "empty hdd slot".
I want to add a 1tb ssd 😁 into the empty hdd slot using ssd to hdd converter.
Can i do it ?
My concerns 💬 : -
1) Will it work 🤔?
2) Will it fit in the empty slot along with its converter 🤨?
3) Will my ssd (if works) show slow speed due to being plugged in hdd slot or work as fine as a normal ssd does 😮💨?

Sir tell me one thing, if we simply just put our purchased SSD with caddy in CD drive and set it to main priority instead of putting HDD in CD drive & SSD in hard disk place then it will be as same as you did? I mean the performance and all the things. Kindly reply sir coz i ordered a 256GB SSD
If u do that then your ssd will be of no use cuz the speed of cd drive port is much lower... Go for the same configuration as shown in the video.

I also have asus r558u and i am considering upgradation. i can see u have also upgraded the ram in your device. could u let me in on how much jump did u get in the performance section and what should be the most efficient upgrade for usage.
I have upgraded the ram when I bought the latpop.. So I don't have any experience on 4gb ram in my laptop actually.. But it increases the multitasking performance.. But I was not getting the good user experience so I upgraded to ssd and Ohh man.. I feel like I have bought a new laptop.. The speed has increased a lot.. I recommend you to do both the upgrade if you want to use it on long run

If you clone like I have done in the video.. Then you'll get your os, documents, downloads, softwares and all cloned..
agar main hdd ki place main ssd and cd drive mai old hdd install karta hu..uske baad windows normally open ho jayega ? ke mujhe boot mai kuch setting pehele se karna parega?

Hello sir actually I was greatly confused in between ssd and ram. I was having great lag in opening the chrome and other apps. I visited the dell store he told that u need to upgrade the ssd and not the ram which is currently of 4gb. I have asked him to do for the ssd. Now after watching the video I am not confident if my decision is correct Or not. Please help me.

Shifting the hdd in caddy makes the laptop very slow... Inspite of booting from SSD in main SATA slot. After removing hdd from caddy it's butter smooth. What could be the reason? I have HP laptop with AMD processor.
I don't have any issue while using ssd and hdd at same time.. Have you transferred all the software in the ssd.. If anything is running on the hdd.. It will make the laptop slow.. Because the cd/DVD port in which we put out Hdd in caddy is slow.. In your case it might be too outdated to handle the Hdd.. I have done your in my friends laptop.. Hp laptop.. Same thing happened.. So we removed the hdd and using it externally.. And running the laptop only on ssd

@@Namstedost I would recommend to do a fresh install coz when you clone it, it take so much space, ssd has optimization which optimize files and takes less space. So If possible you should do a fresh install.. Boot time is 5-6 seconds

No SSD must always be installed in the sata internal Port for best performance

Does cloning means copying os and softwares to the new ssd (results in having two sets of same software in ssd and hdd) . Or is it transferring os and software from HDD to ssd ??? (Cut and paste). Does cloning result in crashing or error issues of OS in future ? Please answer.
cloning will replicate your system drive to the ssd .same files same software's.. and yes it copies, means you'll have to sets of drives ..you can either boot from hdd or from ssd..after booting from ssd you can format the system drive of hdd...
There are very low chances of crashing of os after cloning.. I haven't seen or experienced any kind of thing..

Bro, thanks for making this tutorial. I was considering to upgrade and this was very stepwise and help me in doing it. One major doubt, you mebtioned that apply ur HDD to cady and SSD to HDD spot. Cant we use SSD at inside cady?? Like why should we disturb the position of HDD if we can set SDD up from Cady??
Yes you can use ssd in caddy. But you can't optimize full potential of ssd in caddy due to its bandwidth

@@barkhabarkha7413 as I checked on amazon your laptop has nvme m.2 ssd slot.. You can install the m.2 nvme ssd.. And if you follow the steps in the video then you can migrate the os from hdd to ssd.. All the softwares will be cloned.. But there is 1% chances that the migration may not work and windows will not clone properly.. Then you have to reinstall the windows
