As a doom and black metal guy, this board is pretty intimidating lol but it is set up amazingly! What you guys do is incredible! The board is almost an instrument in itself and that is so cool to me! Keep it up!

You should integrate some of these pedals into your doom stuff. You’d probably be into post-metal stuff too.

Yes, i did discover your channel thanks to Hainbach. But the use of traditional instruments to do amazing effects is just what i always wanted. i'll probably still record through soviet spy recorders sometimes though.

I am musically illiterate, but deeply enjoyed this entire video. The detail, the breakdown of everything, the way you talked about it made a technical topic very easy to enjoy! Also I love the way you make sounds wiggle like they're moving underwater or through space or between time. It's very floaty and relaxing 💕

Thank you so much for explaining the signal path, the reasons why, and also explaining exactly what you're doing when you're tweaking! Some of these pedals are so complex (I have the microcosm, and Dark Star) and it's a science to even understand how to GET the sound we hear in our head! Great video, thank you!

Wow, that is nuts. Appreciate Russ' deep dive and explanation for each pedal and why it's included. It's clear that this board has been put together after much careful thought to its use-case. It has everything you need and nothing that you don't. Having said that, I have a feeling that this will not be the last iteration - or indeed the last board you put together. There's always scope for a smaller, more manageable board for additional / alternative effects. Nice job!

What a lovely palette of colors to paint with!
Big fan of the staging (and not just gain staging), from the sequencing of Enzo, Thermae, and Microcosm, to how everything is mixed pretty low after When The Sun Explodes to avoid being overpowered. The always-on reverse setup is ingenious, as is the always-ready bass fuzz channel. And you touched on an interesting point which is that your favorite pedals may not be the ones that always work the best together to make a cohesive pedalboard instrument

Your attitude to pedalboards is not only very exciting, but also very encouraging, (said as an average guitarist building a gigantic pedalboard). I love that you use effects with what's generally considered a very traditional instrument. Total kudos to you! Goodonya!!

I love Perfect Circuit! I get some of my modular synth gear from there. I'll have to use your link next time I get something from there.

The Song you played at 04:32....it gave me one of the most wonderfull feelings in my life. I cloed my eyes and it took me too a Dimension where i thought " ok...this is it, now im ready to die" But i didnt. And its odd but...i feel a little bit sad about it. This felt like THE Moment.

I love your videos because the harp through a pedal sounds to me closer than an electric guitar to what an acoustic guitar would sound like. And hearing your pedal board while I'm putting the finishing touches on my own is serendipitous timing indeed. Finally, Perfect Circuit is the best! I've bought many, if not most, of my pedals there. They have an awesome selection, always give great advice, and are completely deserving of all the business they can get.

I’m building my own dream board at the moment. Everyone who looks at it gets intimidated
I also have the enzo. Its an amazingly complex but creative pedal.

I watched the video to see how you're incorporating the Milkman. I'm still in the trial and error stage with my board setup and I'm also using The Amp 100 as a pedal platform (for electric guitar). I don't know anything about harp, but your playing was so beautiful I ended up watching the whole thing...so, so, talented! In addition to enjoying your music, I was reminded that I want to find a small lyre -> so I can spoof the "Bring me a small lyre... not that kind of lyre!" scene from Mel Brooks History of the World. You might be too young to know what I'm talking about.
