Jordan Boostmaster I recently got a 2017 Commencal Meta v4.2, and it's amazing. I've done full on dh on it and it handles it really well considering it's a trail bike. I'd recommend it for sure

Trail is considered to be "all around" type bike. It''s good at everything, but not great at anything. Climbs well, descends well, comfortable. Enduro bikes aren't good at climbing, and have more travel. They're meant to be ridden down some pretty harsh trails with drops, jumps, and big technical things. I agree, if you only ride park a DH bike would fit better. Enduro bikes are very versatile, i know but they just aren't born for this kind of riding and abuse. By my own experience I've learned that lighter means less durable and that's why I own a trail bike and a DH bike :)

Have you looked at the Scott voltage? I know it's not dh bike but with the modern geometry of today's bikes a free ride bike of today might suit your riding style better
Been eyeing Canyon bike for a while. When it's time to retire the SB5+ they'll be on the short list. It looked like you were hauling through those berms! You say you want a larger bike, what kind of geometry are you looking for?
Did you try it on some steep rocky stuff because I really like the bike but when I had a look at the geometry it wasn't very slack which I found disappointing because I want it for some steep dh stuff
Dude check the GEO. loads are having issues with it being 67.5 in low setting when it should be 66.5. Not that much of a deal breaker but if your OCD and prefer a slack bike.
Hey Jordan, awesome videos, keep at it man, saw your gimbal video but for those who don't have the cash for one and a go pro, can you post a picture of where on your helmet you mount your go pro? Saw it for a second in this video.
It's great that you use a helmet can as well as the gimbal. I do this as I find the gimbal sometimes throws a wobbly but at least you can rely on the helmet footage! Nice video 👌

You should get an enduro bike first man. Modern enduro bikes are very capable and they do race them down dh tracks most of the time. You could expand your riding to more climbs to work on the fitness. You dont need a dh bike unless you are really serious about racing it down a hardcore dh track. Enduro bikes could be the answer. Plus you look like you are having so much fun on it!

It´s you, or maybe your suspension or cockpit setup. Correct me if I´m wrong, but I feel like your technique is lacking, just because it is like that with most people that ask these questions. Go get some practise with flat pedals and preferably a hardtail in a skills park and/or pumptrack. Mastering bunnyhops is also a really good idea. A DH bike would only strengten your bad habits, because it would be forgiving and thus it wouldn´t make you change your probably faulty technique. If it´s the suspension(probably not tho), then I would suggest slowing down the rebound on the shock so it doesen´t kick you into a nose dive.
LOL a bronson is not going to limit your jumping in any way. Spending money for a more capable bike is an absolutely terrible idea, as it will just reinforce your bad habits and compensate for bad technique. ride your 6k bike until you actually get better and feel its limits then consider swapping for a DH bike
Jordan Keeler you miss the point man , what I'm trying to say is this ..... is the Bronson made for jumping , I don't mean like 3 feet , I mean BIG jumps . .? I've tried it dude trust me I hit a 8 feet jump like 50 times and the bike just leans over to the right , it's like it's out of balance or something, I just can't figure it out , You get my meaning or .............?

According to www.canyon.com/en/bikes/bike-detail.html?b=4261 you will fit a XS frame. A small is very similar to a Med Bronson CC 2017. Reach 422. Maybe you can try one bike with a 422 reach to see if a Small frame fits you fine
Quick question - does this have a 160 or 170mm fork up front? I've heard people say that Canyon's specs are slightly off on the website when it comes to head angle, and in a couple of reviews of the 160mm fork bikes, the head angle is steeper than specified. I just bought a Strive AL myself, and i'm debating whether or not to up the fork from 160 to 170 eventually. I've not rode it enough to bother just yet, but it'd be cool to get an idea of what people think of their 160mm bikes - if they can shred Whistler no problem i'll probably just end up leaving it as is.
I love the Strive, and I love Canyons. You have to try the Sender sometime, unfortunate they didn't have any available.

Been super happy with my Specialized Enduro Comp, 4 years strong. Defs a little light for DH sometimes but totally worth the nimbleness.

8 ft? XD that made me laugh! That is nowhere near the bike´s limits. It has to be thechnique. I thought you meant like BIG jumps.
