- The Rainy75 by wobkey is an anomaly. Despite being the company's first project, it blows other budget keyboards out of the water, integrating modern features and design with included JWK/HMX switches and doubleshot PBT keycaps, all while keeping prices unbelievably low. Should it be your next, or probably first, experience with a custom keyboard?

Your videos make even budget keyboards look stunning and elevate its aesthetics to premium. Amazing filmography.
I believe it is the keyboard itself that makes it look premium for the most part:)
@@starplatinumrqm presentation is also quite important, as per the great words of megamind himself
the dynamic shots are something i havent really seen before, they look awesome!
That first sound test is already amazing and better than some other modded boards. Amazing deal for anyone beginning their journey. Buying a whole modding station with all the accessories adds up to quite a bit. I just bought everything at once with all the different parts for my 3rd keyboard, first I modded, and it ended up around $800 CAD. I definitely wouldn't have spent as much when I first started and bought my old little keychron k2 made of plastic.
I made the mistake of upgrading a cheap plastic keyboard, reaching $100+ for the tools, keycaps, and experimenting with switches. I regret getting a full built like this one instead.
Just wanna say props for the actual good sponsor in the video, nice that you support a good cause :)
Full packed for a 100$ keyboard kit and it sounds amazing!
No knob tho 😭
wtf is "amazing" about "thock" sound? It sounds like a bunch of marbles which is uncomfortably distracting
A keyboard is supposed to sound hollow and clacky

God damn the price and how it looks and sounds is actually crazy good! I wish I had this option years ago, but nope it was just all plastic 60%'s lol
i missed your uploads 😢 welcome back 🎉
The optometrist office style transitions and sounds were super cool.
WOB is currently the hottest keyboard studio in China, and Rainy75 is their only product
They first went live on 11 Nov this year with Rainy75 and they're currently on their 3rd batch in China.
Rainy75 has been the most sought after keyboard ever since, going out of stock the very second it gets restocked.
I managed to get the silver non RGB variant for 50USD (yes, they're going for as low as 50USD in China), and I'm saying it, below 200USD, this keyboard has no competition.
To match this keyboard's quality you'd need to match it with something selling at 250USD or higher, this keyboard is just that crazy.
Very cool, thanks for the info
I doubt it compares to wooting at 180 but it’s definitely a great budget Mechkey.
Wooting is ass only good for gamers it sounds horrible
@@129felixhsiao3never let bro cook on god.. u have no idea about keyboards my guy, i have a wooting and multiple customs. its shitty and only good for gaming but ok. literal dogshit for ANYTHING else
@@129felixhsiao3Several better keyboards. The only thing going for it is HE and better boards are coming. Not to mention, not everyone wants a 6X keyboard…
BONE STOCK sounds amazing i love it
I think the biggest thing that I’m interested to see is that they say they will keep it in stock, on Amazon.
I love how objective the review is. no hype, no bias. I will now subscribe and check your other videos.
btw, I just got mine, Electro White, still enjoying the heavenly stock setup. I got some extra Gateron CAP V2 golden to be spring swapped with lighter spring (for gaming), to try on it, hoping for a deeper sound.
This thing sounds amazing stock
WAIT THE SPONSOR WAS MAKE A WISH THATS SO COOL
holy that thing sounds so Marbly!! Never expected it to sound soo good especially right out of stock!! I am in love!!!!!!
The photography for this video is so good
Nice quality video. Love the shots 🔥. I have a question. That is a name of that mouse?
Man, I was so distracted by your cinematography. They look like something rendered in Blender. Incredible.
Merry Christmas!! 🫶🫶🥳
Reminds me of the MKC75 without the customization options.
dam I ordered a Zoom75 a month ago for like double the price. while the Rainy doesn't have an LCD, i think i could live with $100+ more in my wallet over that...
i actually love the sound it makes unmodded. great cinematography and editing too btw
I nearly spat out my drink when I heard what this thing sounds Stock 🤯
I think the Womier SK71 sounds pretty good as well, for a bit cheaper, and is in stock as well
Wait, this is way too incredible for it's price!! What the??
I see the inspiration from the QK75 but have pp plate is definitely a good distinction
I assume you mean QK75N, right?
@@kkyden in terms of the layout maybe, but I'm referring to the internals compared to the QK75 like the internal/back weight and gasket mount design being very similar.
@@luispadilla2842 oh, they are more similar in that case yes indeed, i see your point now.
stock sounds fantastic and for its price, it seems too good to be true!! I heard that they are trying to manufacture it on Amazon, though as it is, it seems phenomenal!!
Not gonna lie the timing of this video is insane for me lol. I had to move and am currently ordering stuff to build a new pc. My old keyboard is pretty busted and was looking to finally venture into my first mechanical keyboard. Unfortunately I already missed all the GB's for things that I liked lol. But this is awesome
Cant decide wether or not I should stick with the PP plate or order the fr4 plate as an add on.
Whoa, this thing sounds really good OOTB😮
If you were to replace the switches on these boards, which ones would you recommend over the ones that come with it.
Looking forward to more competitively priced high quality keens.
GYATTT that sound 😫
If you want it, then you’ll have to take it. But you already knew that.
The best stock keyboard I have ever tried. NGL!
that sounds insane stock tf
Sounding that good out of the box at that price is insane. If that was a TKL I'd grab one, as a TKL lover I'm kind of sad so many of these great budget boards aren't TKL but it must be great for all the people who want these form factors.
Woah this vid is so good, it's like I'm watching VOX
just bought the HyperX Alloy Origins the other day for 80-ish and now I see this
hey, check out the ajazz ak820/ak820 pro, the normal version is $40 and the pro version is $50. It sounds insanely solid out of the box for it's price, and it has a knob (the pro version has a screen). it's made of plastic but it's quite heavy and doesnt feel cheap
i just got this keyboard and its truly an AMAZING value keyboard. im even selling my qk65 v1 off as ill be maining this board due to its tri mode connectivity which i didnt have on my pcb for my qk65v1. u shldve mentioned that the board also supports pcb mount screw in stabs as that's what convinced me to get this
love that keyboard blue and white want to buy it right now
cannot get over how good it sounds, the original stock i mean, not the modded sound tbh
Between this and the Keychron v1 max what would you pick?
insane value
Where do you buy it? It's sold out and the kickstarter doesn't provide any real info.
I subscribed because of the Make-A-Wish partnership, I stayed because I enjoyed the topic
Almost sounds like a geigerteller when typing so fast! lol
Really cute. Would prefer the numpad as well, as I physically NEED IT for work. Also, a bit of RGB so I can SEE in the dark ffs.
im planning to get one, is the GMK Rainy Day matches on the blue alu case?
dear nearLucid what is your black mousepad called and where to buy it? looks great
Wow. This looks and sounds amazing. I was going to get the womier sk71 because I considered it the best budget gaming keyboard. How often does the company restock everything?? Also could someone look at the womier sk71 and give me some feedback and which one is better? Thanks 😊
I’m also trying to get a new budget keyboard and this one is better hands down. All though, after doing research it seems that it’s hard to get because there is very high demand. Keep in mind that any budget keyboard with linear switches will perform the same for video games if you want to save money
Kinda reminds me of the Leobog Hi75.
Compared to that this can be an interesting alternative, as the Rainy has wireless connection, while the Hi75 doesn't.
(The Leobog Hi75 also comes as a pre-built now, also for $99) Oh, what a time to be in the hobby, with keyboards like this good going under $100. :')
Bruh I joined the hobby way too early. The amount of money I overpaid for something is uncountable..💀
@@maesl69 Same here. :') But hey, at least we can more appreciate the recent price drop. 😅
The Leobog Hi75 prebuilt is actually $37on Taobao. Though taxes+shipping will probably make it around $50, which is still a steal.
@@poprocks6031 My heart is bleeding, I wish I could have access to Taobao :')
The new Leobog Hi8 is basically the Hi75 with wireless
If only it is available
I heard they are a sub company of Keychron, also my rainy 75 came out perfect i love it
of course i dont find out about stuff like this right before i get a new keyboard
no discussion of the premium/jwk switch version?
2:36 so this sound right here was 100% un-modded and just right out of the box? and if so which version of the keyboard was it?
Great video but as an ultrawide monitor user you can upload in 21:9 instead of the fake black bars!
those keycaps look way too good for this price point whaattt??
I honestly believe that he mods weren't very necessary. I think I like the stock sound a little more.
I just got the Womier S-K71 for 85$ a few days ago - I wonder how much better this is.
Same here, but Im pretty happy with the Womier's stock sound, feel and build quality, especially for 80 bucks
they're completely different though
@@abdomination What do you mean by that? I am new to keyboards so not to sure how these are different.
they're nothing alike except for the fact they are keyboards @@NS416
Please in future implement range of 2.4 ghz wireless dongle, not everyone uses keybord close to PC, some of us use it from bed, sofa etc. This is crucial for a lot of potentional customers and nobody tests it. Thank you in advance.
I was looking at this keyboard as well due to that sound, and that price is just too good. But ultimately decided against it because I really don't like that generic shape. Good sound is naught if I'm not even going to use it. Hope they start putting out more elaborate designs after the success of this keyboard.
im new to keyboards, are these poppy or creamy (between clacky and thocky) ?
is it just me or does the stock sound better than the modded?
I see it on kickstarter, but I am too winded by kickstarters to consider picking this up.
Where can I buy these HMX Violet switches??? They sound so good. I'm only seeing HMX V2U and V2 on Google.
The violets are just recolours of the HMX hyancinth v2's.
me: wow that sounds amazing stock
him: so the stock config is extremely loud
huh??
What makes this so much better than a keychron 75 from 100 bucks?
The Leobog hi 75 is a really good competitor if you don’t like the creamy sound this keyboard gives, the leobog gives a deeper thocky sound signature. And if you wanna build from scratch the Xinming is really good because it’s full aluminum for the weight and it’s only 60$ (it’s barebones)
wommier sk 71 or sum like that is really good as well
Looks like a good buy. Do you know any similar alternatives with RGB ?
I think it has a version with rgb for 10$ more
Noice. Dec 26/27. Hope i catch an order then.
blud wears a watch on his right hand
Keep in mind this is US price.. if you want to get it in Europe it’s almost double the price plus you need the ISO plate and you need to buy keycaps aswell. So just for the rainy75 its 170 eur which is like 185 usd, and the plate is 20 more.. 200usd 😅 still an ok purchase tho, but not budget at all, if you want to get iso keycaps prepare 35 to 70 usd more
Anyone heard of Batknight ? Can anyone do a review on them.
I got a glorious gmk (version 1) on black friday for $30 and ordered gateron milky yellows. Would I be better off returning them and getting this? I do like the deep thocky sound
make sure yourt switches are 3 pin gmmk pro is the only glorious gmmk series that supports 5 pin switches
@@diyanshu5573 yeah it's 3. And the yellows are 5. But I was wondering if i should return the gmmk also
It’s already sold out online so don’t return your item unless you’re okay waiting for something else.
@@philliptran5217it’s not sold out. It just hasn’t been released as an in stock product yet. Although it seems to be a few months out from being able to purchase on their site as well as Amazon.
@@philliptran5217 It's not even out yet... 26/27th Dec the kickstarter should open

I much prefer the stock sound the marbley sound is so nice to me.
how is this compare with M1W or V81 plus?
They make great boards. Only wish they made a 96% board
Where to buy? I am very skeptical on what website to check out, thank you for those who will reply
I’m not sure if they’ve given a specific date, but it will be available for order through Amazon as well.
bro where and when cna i buy this?
Nice board! Any info about the polling rate while wired/2.4?
I have a mammoth 75, a pretty expensive device as for what it is, and regardless the price, it has 125hz, which I find disappointing
1000
its 500hz
Just copped it on taobao, amazing value❤
Are there any more left on stock? And are they used or new? Cause I’m looking for one and most sites don’t sell them anymore
coming when?
Hi. Where can i buy this? Thanks. The stock one i want
These reviews built like a video essay goes hard 😭
Any shine through model? thx
makin me regret my custom 100 pound akko 5075s (which WAS VERY cheap for a custom 75%)
so you can also install screw in stabs???!!!
out of the box sound test was so good
where can we buy it??
I don't mean to be that guy but since it's a Kickstarter what would happen if they run away with the money?
Nordic ISO PCB please!
fast typing that sounds almost like scratching
i got today my samurai gaming set , and is not like is weird that is a mouse system , those were blshet.
Sikakeyb is similar. Hard to find info about.
How can you call it a comparison when the foamless config has lubed and filmed switches?
No cap but the moddes version of yours sounds like their 130$+ Wob switches
Is this good for gaming?
do you think this keyboard would be good for gaming?
