- A review of my favorite "Gundam" and that one variant of it from Super Robot Wars 30. I've wanted to review this for a while because Huckebein has some "interesting" assets.

Even though this was a commission I've wanted to review this for quite a while so an additional big thanks to the anonymous benefactor (yes, I'm going to say this every chance I get) for commissioning this. It feels pretty great to be reviewing obscure robots again even if the algorithm is going to hate it. I think this video is alright considering there was a lot of pre-production problems, my friend who I've hired to record my figure footage was apparently sick about a week after I sent him the figures to record so I only got the footage at the end of March which means it was delayed by an entire month. Currently his camera that I bought him is broken but thankfully he's already recorded the footage for the next review, only problem now is for the post office to actually be open. I'm hoping nobody expected me to be more subtle about the funny cannon, because to be honest I'm absolutely not above it and I'm pretty tired of people saying they are despite their other jokes being pretty much on the same level. Also I'm somewhat curious if there's anyone pedantic enough to tell me that xenogeneicx factorx type is probably wrong considering nobody was pedantic enough to edit the wiki.
Anyway, the fourth of this month was the 3rd anniversary of the channel. I've got nothing planned and my opinions about it are mostly negative ones that I'll keep to myself so woo. Next review is very likely the Flame Toys Furai Model Windblade, hopefully I'll get the footage for it soon.
Turns out I got the pronunciation of the name wrong which was a genuine mistake, it's spelled like it's pronounced "bane" but it's actually "bine". In my defense I grew up in America so butchering foreign words is something I'm accustomed to... everyone I've talked to (which unsurprisingly is a very few amount of people) called it huckebane so it never occurred to me that I was pronouncing it wrong meaning it also never occurred to me to check and besides I think it's generally fine for people to mispronounce things based on how they're spelled (I'm not the guy out here telling people to pronounce manga "mon'ga") but an actual defense specific to Super Robot Wars is that after hearing DyGenGuar being pronounced Dyzengar my takeaway is you can't trust how they say it for how it's spelled, I honestly still don't know if I should pronounce it DyGenGuar or Dyzengar especially considering the name is an abbreviation of Dynamic General Guardian and it's not like people say "gandamu" instead of "gundum" so my other takeaway from this is that it's not worth caring about. There's also cases like Cybaster which is so much less cool a name than Cybuster that people seem to reject spelling and pronouncing it Cybaster (myself inclluded). That being said I think Huckebein is an actual name from somewhere so maybe it's worth pronouncing correctly but speaking from experience as an Asian-American who has lived in both almost nobody asks how they're pronounced so my first name has been mispronounced by everyone I've met here in Asia and my last name has been mispronounced by everyone I've met in America to the point it's really hard to care and correcting people about it makes me feel like an entitled jackass... I'm also a little mad it's pronounced huckebine because huckebane sounds a lot cooler.

Huckebein is a cool robot being a fan of SRW series myself. Though Gespenst is a cooler design.

It's funny how in SRW 30 the characters remark that Huckebein is not even a mobile suit! Even though they never bother to specify the difference between mobile suit and personal trooper.
Quick question: ZEROGOkin your opinion on the Exbein Ashe? (The exbein is an upgraded version of the huckebein and the exbein Ashe is a broken down slightly crappier version of it much like the exia and the exia repair.)

Bro, I'm not even into models that much but I love your reviews, you just need a little bit of luck with the algorithm to become MASSIVE. The only thing I would tell you to improve with the flow of the videos is the music transitions that feel a bit off and some transitions between sections could be more smoth, but overall the memes, the jokes and the showcasing are amazing, keep doing gods work lad.
I mean I don't understand audio at all so like if you could point out which music transitions I can at least know what you're talking about, although I will say some of it might just be last minute stuff like "oh I forgot to put music here" or just limitations of (my understanding of) the editing software. It's a similar thing with the writing really, except I've only sort of recently started trying to add transitions in the scripts and it's not like I'm a very good writer to begin with (which is something I plan on trying to improve). Although that being said, working on the videos is generally a mess. Typically I have to cut out some talking points which do affect the flow of the videos because yes there is in fact something missing here.
@@ZEROGOkinReviews at the 1:00 mark the change between songs feels a bit off because of how it lowers the volume and then starts the next one, but it's not that bad. 4:32 Feels off the moment the song gets cut, try to moving the cuts a little bit so it doesnt get cut in the middle of a note might help. 5:16 the same problem with the cut and the decrease in volume make it more obvious because it's followed by the silenece between tracks. 5:27 try to not change the track after so such a short time. And the parts that are short, it will help to the rythm if it was more streamlined in just a longer section without many silences, like talking about the plasma sword and the gun all followed by the other without cuts like, "Here, the plasma sword *yada yada yada* while the gun complements the set very well because *yada yada yada* and that's why the leap slasher *yada yada*" something along those lines.
Overall those are the type of things I've watched in your videos that feel off but lemme tell they are not terrible they are, in fact barely noticeable, and your videos are very fun and entertaining and seeing how your last video made the numbers I was fucking right. I'm not an audio professional or technician nor a writer, it's just my observations and the solutions, they might not be the best or even correct. My first language isn't english so the writing part is with limitations and if there isn't something you don't understand I can try to explain it again if you want.
@@sokari134 A few of these seem to be transitions that are weird because I wanted a specific part of the music to play at a certain moment and I couldn't figure out how to make the transition work. But yeah, the rest of are probably just me not knowing what I'm doing. I will say the very brief descriptions of the accessories is deliberate, I find that if I don't have anything worthwhile to say I'm just going to say what I need and move on because I really don't want to waste peoples time with what to me feels like small talk. Also they're usually fairly short, so I just kind of underestimated how much footage I'd have to work with and time I'd have to fill when writing the script this time.

Divine beast from Super Robot Wars 30
i have not much problem with huckebein series by themselves but i have deep seethed hatred specifically for huckebein 30 and 'th'
i mean it HAD to be on the same 'original' part with the dreisstrager and it looks either chuuni or rather plain in comparison, doesn't help with the male main character name is unironically "EDGE" and "AZ" had to share in relationship with Mitsuba 'Greatvalley' which is definitely had more of the center stage in the game.
also-also, getting huckebein that's too close to the original while we have the entire line between Alteisen to Xelguard.
my favorite would be the Vangray-Granvang-Vangnex line.
also for anniversary title, SRW30 is kind of a disappointment
srw 30 a letdown in many aspects. but not sure if they had the money to make it better. they implemented many qol improvements that made the experience much more enjoyable but v still a better game.
@@Mngalahad thing is i expect they do OG 3rd or something, cheap budget wise, and practically wanking the fans with re-polished assets from V-X-T, mobile games and all previous gens. but, we get 30, which is honestly more 'pat self in the back' self wank, while testing the 'qol'
there is numbers of flaws that is honestly to me, way too glaring, including the support system, and attacks that 'just cutscenes' i get by most of the mission with either not using them a single time, or just using on a single enemy. also another personal vendetta, whoever the fuck directing ultraman's attack animation
made severe mistake putting the impact frames on the first specium beam, not the finale.
but honestly, i can tolerate all of them, my main gripe is, "THEY HAD TO USE GUNDAM BASED ONE."
while there's like mountain of other original mech that's more significant to SRW OG

nah, getting things wrong means I get more engagement on videos. Also after Dyzengar and Cybaster the pronunciation of robot names goes in one ear and out the other.
