OP, FYI, in-game lore the Alteisen is a heavily customized Gespenst meant to test out S-Drives made from the crashed meteorite so that Earth mechs in that game could fly. However, due to the limitations of Human technology during the events of the first SRW OG game, the S-Drives can only make mechs hover a few feet above the ground and not truly fly (hence why the Gespenst has wings on its back as it was a design made for the anticipated flight capabilities that didn't happen). Only in the second SRW OG game they were able to produce newer S-Drives called Tesla Drives that can make units fly independently. Funny thing is that after the Alteisen was upgraded to its Alteisen Riese form, it had a Tesla Drive, but not meant for flying but instead for balancing the mech due to its overweight issue from the humongous Revolver Bunker on the right arm that essentially throws the mech balance off and its center of gravity.
I hope they make Huckbein or Exbein later. I love the design of Huckbein and Exbien. My favorite had to be Huckbein 3 Boxer. Missile backpack, and Giant Exo-Armor Boxer was totally awesome!
Add in the Weissritter too, as it is essential to the Alteisen (as a support unit and the mech of the pilot's lover. RIP to her voice actress though that passed away late 2010s)
It costs a bit more than the average kit but it's great to see where all the money goes into. The scalpers arent targeting this kit it seems, so it may not be too hard to find one:)
@@HobbyClubhouse yeah I wouldn't consider it the most exciting or well designed kit. But its unique design is a huge selling point for me. Its so different and so much detail was put into it

I get exactly what you mean, if the hands were more splayed open, it'd work better for the heroic style. Too bad it's hard to find after market hands in its unusual size I bet they'll do the Huckebein after the Gespenst... Or maybe the SRX...

These SRW OG kits sure are bringers of hope. Can't wait for the Gespenst, Huck/Ex/XX/Whatever-bein, Lion, and their multitude of variants. A small miracle would be if we manage to get the MAss-Produced Huckebein as a kit, love that design and colorscheme.
I feel they'd make the Huckebein for sure since they can P-Bandai-spam the heck out of it... but I'd probably buy them all, especially the mass production Mk-II
Bit late on the comment, but I love this thing and definitely plan on getting it! I love big, thick, chunky robots add in the revolver spike and the heat horn and this kit is definitely a win in my book. Even though I hardly know anything about SRW. Btw, just a weird idea.... I kinda think this kit would make for a good Doom Guy/Doom Slayer custom. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks.
The design is great enough to enjoy even outside of SRW really, and it's a good buy with it being such a nice kit. I bet the spike reminded you of the hand blade in Eternal. If you want to make it Doom-Guy-ish, you'd need a sacrificial GM head or something with those visor eyes
I built mine. It's nice but I ended up swapping out the arms with some HG Lupus Rex arms. I may revisit the original arms later. I don't see why it has hands if it has arm mounted weapons that stick out past the fists.
