I'm cycling this series over and over again, After a year (7 cycles) I found doing this specific session with 11kg......and I started with 6kg finding it hard ❤ You do you ❤
I'm on my second round of Iron. I love it so much. I've done EPICS I, II, III, and Heat, but I just love the classic strength training with Iron. Just want to say thank you Caroline for all you do. You've shared your workouts and knowledge and I'm a happier and healthier person for it. I hope you have the best day ❤

Amazing! I've never really done step ups before. I really felt this one. Had to do D20 and D21 back to back and I am one sweaty mess! Loving it! AT 68 years young I an amazed at not only the strength I've gained over the last 10 months, but my overall balance when do exercise has greatly improved! WooHoo!

You do You weights today was 17.5kg Elevated squats went very well with good depth. Step Up I really did feel the burn on all the rotation but especially on the side step. The Lunges certainly do the business ahead of the Step Up. Finisher was great 👍
Hi Anthony...I just loved the step ups today...good, intense bodyweight work! Just what I love! There were no Bulgarians in the workout...but then did the add on...by the time we got to the jumps and hops I felt ready to give up...but I didn't!! A great workout...I loved it! I used 12.5 kg...but lots of extra work with the add on and I used my yoga block for all the lunges! I enjoyed myself. Have a great BH day...the sun has just come out here and it's getting very warm! @@matthewalmond8274 No add on for myself Matthew I just did 30mins on the threadmill. Trying to cut up a little. Hopefully that will also help the legs tomorrow as I tend to notice the workout the next day using the heavier weights. Bit miserable here today but at least it has stopped raining. This leg workout looks super intense today, what a smashing way to start week 5 - what 😲!!! How did that happen. Nice to be revisiting the step ups, so grateful to Caroline for her detailed description of this movement, and the rest if the workout exercises. The calves are definitely going to be on fire 🔥 by the end of this session. I pulled out my old 14 inch stepper from back in the day. What a surprise to find it was too low for me! Thanks Caroline! Our dining room chair sufficed nicely. This was a fun, fun workout. Brilliantly creative and tough! Our Coach is the best!

I lost my mother last week and was not able to do anything coz I was taking care of her since a month in another country. Still used to see your video and was feeling tht inner peace. Now I am trying to find my life without mom and dad and just not abl to move ahead but still gonna give my best to get my life on the track. Thank you mam for everything you do.
I recently took a 4 month break from doing any strength training at all as I was going through a difficult time - I’ve just been getting back into it again over the last couple of weeks and it’s been fun catching up on all the workouts I missed from you. I. Love. Step Ups. LOVE! As the stretch is generally the most important part for hypertrophy, I suggest always doing calf work on an elevated surface for full range of motion and doing pulses/holds at the bottom of the range. Hope this helps someone!

@@yasminealhalaby7118 Hi Yasmine...I dud mine using an old kitchen chair...but one that is very solid and that worked for me! I use it for Bulgarian lunges too! The main thing is that whatever you use must be really stable and about the right height...about knee height is good! Hope you have fun! Matthew
@@yasminealhalaby7118 I know what you mean. I have weak ligaments on the right knee which causes pain sometimes so I have to be very careful too. Also I’m a petite so the step can’t be too high up either. Let’s attempt this safely and modify if necessary 🙌🏼

Wow....🔥🔥I loved this. Forgot how hard step ups are, particularly when you don't allow the none working leg to step onto the chair (I used my dining chair). Work for me on this gloomy bank holiday Monday. As my add on I did a May 2020 10 minute lower body workout where Caroline in out in her garden and its bright and sunny. Bit of a contrast today but least its not raining. Thank you, loved my little Bank Holiday pre work session ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For me, step-ups are one of the best exercises for glutes\legs l always incorporated them once a week thank you Caroline for including them in today's video 💕😭

Just finished day 21 and I love this series. I have been consistent with Iron and look forward to working out with Caroline every morning. Love the music and find it resonates through out the day and makes me stay focused with my goals. Thank you Caroline for all you do for us!
Ooh step ups!! Only ever done them a couple of times in my life before and after listening to Caroline's form tips, I've definitely never done them properly before! Felt every muscle from my core down working hard in those, such good value haha. So challenging to me - I was v wobbly - but I loved feeling my muscles work like that 😊

First time doing step ups. Loved it! This was so fun. Iron series is going to be my go to I've bumped my weight by 1kg per side since the start of the program and managing to maintain form if going slightly slower. Thanks Caroline you're the best!!

Yes isn’t it amazing how quickly the time goes by! Shows just how much we are enjoying ourselves! I’ve finished the workout and I’ve survived...though part way through the add on when we were doing Bulgarian lunge hops then jumps I wasn’t totally sure that my survival was guaranteed! Love this one! Caroline I love your workouts-they’ve been such a great tool for helping me recover postpartum. I had done a few while I was pregnant but I *needed* them after. I’ve come to look forward to them and enjoy the quiet time where I’m just working on me. I still can’t believe these programs are free. I finished End Game and am halfway through Iron. I am truly loving this Iron Series using old school weight lifting and lots of variety to keep your muscles growing and guessing. Todays leg workout was amazing. I love step ups.

I have a workout bench which should work for me. Am looking forward to it. I don’t usually do the optional add-on… I am still kind of a beginner, though feel much stronger recently, am usually pretty tired after the main workout everyday. We used to do step ups in the gym before lockdown and were so effective so it's great to try again now that I can't go anymore and am so grateful that caroline is incorporating this for us at home. Okay I’m so excited for this one! I LOVE step-ups and calves, this is going to burn so good 🔥 🔥 🔥 Also, who else died laughing at the CG Tip; “Maybe think of something nice right now”? That came at the exact moment that I needed it, I swear this woman reads my mind sometimes.
Putting this in my favorites!!! I absolutely loved this workout with the step ups! I used my step stool which was a little lower than 50 cm but I picked sturdy over using my couch which has a “give” in the cushion. Thank you for the add on body weight only!! Love working on my form will all of those bulgarian lunges❣️🌹

Good morning to all and happy Monday. I'm going to have to do yesterday's workout today due to the fact that yesterday I had an open house because our house is for sale and I've been cleaning during the week and pretty much exhausted. A good way to lose weight is to have your house for sale with showings during the week and in the evening and doing touch-ups every single day. I unfortunately lost a few pounds and not felt very strong due to the stress and anxiety I'm running up and down the stairs cleaning vacuuming etc. I will hopefully be able to do today's workout tomorrow. I have truly missed the workouts even though it's been only a couple days that I've missed but my energy level is about zero. Sunday's workout looks amazing and I am looking forward to doing it today
these were the leg exercises I had the most fun with! 🥳✨ especially the step ups were my favorite! 🤗💪 I'm still getting stronger and getting in shape, I have been work out with Caroline for almost 2 years and I have lost more than 25 kgs in a healthy way. (btw I'm 23 y.o.) And by providing muscle gain! I'm healthy, I'm strong, I'm in shape. I am grateful for everything... ❣❣❣ You will always be my idol🌸
Used a 20 inch mini stepper and boy was a challenge to stay balanced on that thing! Slow and steady was key. What a fantastic workout! Loved it even though it killed me. Thank you so much Caroline…as always you make me work harder than I ever would!

I. Love. Step Ups. LOVE! As the stretch is generally the most important part for hypertrophy, I suggest always doing calf work on an elevated surface for full range of motion and doing pulses/holds at the bottom of the range. Hope this helps someone!

@@yasminealhalaby7118 Hi Yasmine...I dud mine using an old kitchen chair...but one that is very solid and that worked for me! I use it for Bulgarian lunges too! The main thing is that whatever you use must be really stable and about the right height...about knee height is good! Hope you have fun! Matthew
@@yasminealhalaby7118 I know what you mean. I have weak ligaments on the right knee which causes pain sometimes so I have to be very careful too. Also I’m a petite so the step can’t be too high up either. Let’s attempt this safely and modify if necessary 🙌🏼

Caroline always delivers! Yesterday I ordered a step up because I love the burn and then decided to see how many Caroline step up workouts there are and was surprised to not see many. Then I see this new video and literally jumped for joy! Caroline always knows how to cover all the bases based on equipment and moves. Absolutely loving this series! Wow....🔥🔥I loved this. Forgot how hard step ups are, particularly when you don't allow the none working leg to step onto the chair (I used my dining chair). Work for me on this gloomy bank holiday Monday. As my add on I did a May 2020 10 minute lower body workout where Caroline in out in her garden and its bright and sunny. Bit of a contrast today but least its not raining. Thank you, loved my little Bank Holiday pre work session ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For me, step-ups are one of the best exercises for glutes\legs l always incorporated them once a week thank you Caroline for including them in today's video 💕😭

Ooh step ups!! Only ever done them a couple of times in my life before and after listening to Caroline's form tips, I've definitely never done them properly before! Felt every muscle from my core down working hard in those, such good value haha. So challenging to me - I was v wobbly - but I loved feeling my muscles work like that 😊

Day 21 Smashed!! Enjoyed this pretty Intense workout esp. the Step-ups. Twas Fun focusing on balance and not using the other leg. Burn got so intense at forward lean ones. Also loved the Calves and Finisher. Legs were shaking. Awesome Sesh! 🥰

First time doing step ups. Loved it! This was so fun. Iron series is going to be my go to I've bumped my weight by 1kg per side since the start of the program and managing to maintain form if going slightly slower. Thanks Caroline you're the best!!

Yes isn’t it amazing how quickly the time goes by! Shows just how much we are enjoying ourselves! I’ve finished the workout and I’ve survived...though part way through the add on when we were doing Bulgarian lunge hops then jumps I wasn’t totally sure that my survival was guaranteed! Love this one! Caroline I love your workouts-they’ve been such a great tool for helping me recover postpartum. I had done a few while I was pregnant but I *needed* them after. I’ve come to look forward to them and enjoy the quiet time where I’m just working on me. I still can’t believe these programs are free. I finished End Game and am halfway through Iron. I am truly loving this Iron Series using old school weight lifting and lots of variety to keep your muscles growing and guessing. Todays leg workout was amazing. I love step ups.

I have a workout bench which should work for me. Am looking forward to it. I don’t usually do the optional add-on… I am still kind of a beginner, though feel much stronger recently, am usually pretty tired after the main workout everyday. Hopefully soon I will gradually be up to the add-on afterwards. Have a great evening Matthew!

Anything that involves elevation on the legs really gets me to work a tad harder and I'm TOTALLY here for it 🤌🏾👌🏾
We used to do step ups in the gym before lockdown and were so effective so it's great to try again now that I can't go anymore and am so grateful that caroline is incorporating this for us at home. Think I'm going to have to use my sofa🤣 enjoy leg day everyone. 5am before work💗 let's do this thanks CG

Putting this in my favorites!!! I absolutely loved this workout with the step ups! I used my step stool which was a little lower than 50 cm but I picked sturdy over using my couch which has a “give” in the cushion. Thank you for the add on body weight only!! Love working on my form will all of those bulgarian lunges❣️🌹

Good morning to all and happy Monday. I'm going to have to do yesterday's workout today due to the fact that yesterday I had an open house because our house is for sale and I've been cleaning during the week and pretty much exhausted. A good way to lose weight is to have your house for sale with showings during the week and in the evening and doing touch-ups every single day. I unfortunately lost a few pounds and not felt very strong due to the stress and anxiety I'm running up and down the stairs cleaning vacuuming etc. I will hopefully be able to do today's workout tomorrow. I have truly missed the workouts even though it's been only a couple days that I've missed but my energy level is about zero. Sunday's workout looks amazing and I am looking forward to doing it today

Used a 20 inch mini stepper and boy was a challenge to stay balanced on that thing! Slow and steady was key. What a fantastic workout! Loved it even though it killed me. Thank you so much Caroline…as always you make me work harder than I ever would!
