IRON Series 30 Min Muscle Building Full Body Workout | 19

  • Compound movements all formatted in a way to keep intensity at a high level through a variety of exercises all targeting the same muscle groups… chest press & push ups, goblet squat followed by partial range variation!
    The finisher will combine many of the movements you have already performed within this workout, all combined in a flow sequence!
    Intensity, variety, repetition and load… combined to work you for the next 30 minutes!
    The dumbbells I am using for your reference are:
    2 x 20kg
    (chest press, pullovers, static lunges & goblet squat)
    2 x 15kg
    (Rear step lunges, bent over row, RDLs)
    2 x 10kg (shoulder presses)
    The timer will be on for 60 seconds per exercise with 30 seconds rest inbetween each set!
    2 x 20kg

    1 x 15kg
    REAR STEP FWD LEAN LUNGE

    PAUSED GOBLET SQUAT

    I know you will love the format! 2 sets of an exercise, followed by a ‘complimentary’ exercise!
    And the final exercise… focus on the complex flow with perfect form! Push through and finish with tired muscles and a huge smile!

    I’m a 51 year old man. Love this lady! Her workouts are really tough, but fun. She’s helped me lose 30 pounds. My only problem is how weak she makes me feel with the amount of weight she can lift. Holy cow!😅. Thanks, Caroline!

    For my active rest day, I chose to do the “crazy cardio” as that is one of my favourites and guess what? I finished 100 reps of jumping jacks faster than Caroline, such a victory!! This just shows the amount of strength, endurance, power & determination we all are developing because of these amazing workouts. Thank you Caroline, I’m sure my entire body will feel alive after this one!! Happy Friday!!!

      Oh, I haven’t seen the crazy cardio!!! Congrats on your achievement!!!! I’ve been wanting to add in cardio to loose fat and overall mental and physical health. I’m a novice though. I don’t know how much a week I should plan on because I have heard. You can burn muscle if you do too much. Any advice anybody could give me would be greatly appreciated.

    I’ve been on a healing journey. Weight loss has been a major part of my identity since childhood, eating and exercising have been pain points all my life. But this year, I decided to sit down and think about what I want, what makes me happy. Exercising makes me happy, caring for my body makes me happy. Hating my body and seeing it as something to despise and change as opposed to nurturing does not. Caroline, you have been a significant part of my healing journey, the fact you stop like me, find these exercises hard just like me, don’t put bait clicking titles, and focus on enjoying the process as opposed to the physical changes that may come with it have been life changing for me. Thank you so much for these. Thank you for showing what it means to be kind to your body, I’m learning.

    Full body Friday is always a favorite. It makes me ready for the weekend. The flow was perfect. Those pushups after the chest press was a challenge. The finisher finished me! On another note...our community is terrific. We are global, we are kind, we are united in getting stronger! Thank you Caroline for leading us in our efforts!

    “Wee” Friday Fun Shorts Fab for our Fun Friday WO! That was a burner Caroline, and I only went as high as 10kg throughout still burned those calories, and I feel great!     Done with 20kg, 15kg and 10kg dumbbells! I did the cardio add-on afterwards and finished off with three sets of pull-ups to failure; I managed 3, 2 and 2. Hoping to boost those numbers! 💪🏼

    Whoever says the Iron program doesnt make you sweat or get your heart rate up is cray!! This workout was absolute 🔥!!!! I was a sweaty out of breath muscles exhausted mess after this! Oh and then I went on and did the optional 20 min cardio bc I’m crazy! 🤪🤪🤪 Thank you for these amazing workouts!!!!

    I’m a bit older than you (ok, at 65 a lot), but when I hit the gym I lift some pretty heavy weights, generally 6- 10 reps, as much as when I was 30, but I cannot keep up with you when I do one of your total body workouts! First workout I chose weights much heavier and failed to keep up, now I match yours and still fail often. Tough workouts my friend! Love them!

      I was curious about today's format too... It was brilliant, I love the variety of today's workout. Such a superb friday session to build lean muscle mass. The finisher was a burning flow, it reminded me of how much I love doing complexes.

Mine ranged from 20, 15,12.5,10&7.5kg the whole family if weights were out today. I'm sure you did cardio add on too. Wasn't it very tough? My heart was pumping mad!! Poised abs done too.     Yes I love this style of full body workout. Its challenging and very focused with a great variety to keep your muscles guessing. The finisher was great. I love doing the goblet squats.

    Happy Friday All!
    I love this series! I get to use or try to use all my heavy weight equipment, 38lb landmine, 40lb weight for hip thrusts and 70 lb weighted barbell, when I can get it into position for chest press😂 OMG! I am in awe of the weights everyone is using, you all ROCK! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

    Friday fun day! I did this after work today and I did notice the difference for me, working before work at 6.00 in the morning or after work. My energy levels weren't as high and I struggled. I used 2x15.5kg Dumbbells and 2x10 kg Dumbbells. I am just finished but feel awesome. Now off to relax, fuel my body with good stuff and enjoy the sun. Happy weekend. 💖

    Hi everyone, just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying the programme so far. I'm two weeks behind you all as was away, came back to the day six quads workout, OMG, I'm still feeling it, but so good to be back. I do miss working out alongside you all but it's so good to read your comments before each workout.     Compound movements.. I'm excited! ❤️ I haven't been able to do well with any compound movements involving pushups.. I remember going for 1 push up and crushing straight to the ground because of fatigue 😆✌️ Can't wait to try, fail, giggle for a bit, & try again! That's why I love your workout! It's so much fun even when I'm not good at it.. let's go!!

    In your Q&A you said you were (I believe) a certified in prenatal/postnatal work? As a mom of 3, last kiddo being born five months ago, I would loooove some pelvic floor/Diastasis Recti safe exercises?! I do modify the ones you post so I can still complete them, but it would be so nice to have one or two videos geared towards the pregnant or post-partum folks like me! I’ve closed my DR gap from a 4 finger to a 1.5 finger so far with modifications - would like to keep that going! You’re great!

    Day 19 completed! Time for a shower cos I felt it today. I used 8, 10 and 15kg for this workout, and what a workout it was! Time for school runs now and I believe I have the energy to get to two different schools! I feel energetic right now 😌 ☺️. Roll on Day 20 💪🏾 ❤️

    Full body sessions are not my favorite. I like working one or two major muscle groups, but I am looking forward to this one. The flow and set up looks amazing.

    Today I got a HEAT flash back!!!😁 So sweaty🥵 by the end of the add on, that my HEAT memmories got alive😄 Anyway, the workout itself was super challenging and if you pick the right weights a killer one💪 Credits on Caroline who creates such great workouts and to everyone that smashes them!!!

    Loved this format. I was surprised at how My HR was up during this workout. It was a tough one and yet I felt strong. The cardio add on finished me although I did have energy left for the 15 min Ab add on from there. TGIF😁
