End of August 2024 and I am still doing IRON. It is indeed my routine since she launched it. I don't know how many rounds I had done, but I know for sure that I am making progress, I can lift heavier than when I started, in some workouts, I can lift the same weights as Caroline does. I can't thank Caroline enough for this programme ❤
Just want to say that I’m very appreciative that Caroline shows she takes breathers mid-set. I know she’s using heavier weights than probably a lot of us are (so far 😉). Regardless, showing the fatigue helps demonstrate to viewers it’s normal and part of the journey to building strength. What matters is that you persist and finish the set once you’re able to. It’s very refreshing to see. Thank you. Keep going, everyone. You’ve got this! 💪
I always skip the cool down part of workouts except for Caroline's. Completing her workouts, all the way to her cool downs, provide me with feelings of achievement. I work out very early in the morning before work and when Caroline gives us her bright smile, clap, thumbs up, and a wave, I know I could tackle the day!
Y'all I'm here to tell you, growing old ain't for sissies (as my father used to say!). To all you 'flat bellies' out there, one day you'll notice that it's super hard to build muscle and when you try to do a proper squat EVERYTHING hurts. When that happens to you, and it will, pick yourself up and do this IRON series. I've done most of CG's programs, with lots of modifications, and they're all fabulous but this one is magic! If she doesn't continue this series I'll be doing this one on repeat. Thanks Caroline for giving me strength and confidence again xo.

I recently discovered Caroline's TH-cam channel and so glad I did. I'm in my 70's and have competed in multi-sport events now for over 30+ years. Her weight training and core workouts are spot on....so refreshing and challenging and, like others have mentioned, excellent instructions! I loved using a chair with my rows! It really helped with my back. I was able to lift that wee bit heavier and keep it slow and steady. Definitely using it for my rows going forward. Got a good sweat on today for sure🥵. Enjoy today's workout everyone, have a lovely day!❤

Here in September 2024 and so far have lost 20 lbs with this series. I cleaned up my diet alot! I’m doing a 30 day no sugar diet on top of it. N I feel great!’ Day 22 ready! 🥳

Hi, Matthew. It was looking like a tough upper body and it trully was! I went in to a zone and lift with the best possible mind and muscle connection. A workout to remember. Push ups to supine rows were super hard, my chest was shaking, my back muscles were tired already. Not to mention the finisher... I think I squeezed all the energy from the chest and back muscles. Finished with 15 plank routine, I haven't done it in a while but it was a superb add-on. So excited for glutes and hamstrings tomorrow, I feel like tomorrow session will be a highlight for me alongside the yesterday's one!

Hi Matthew hope you had fun with this. It was sooo intense. Time just flew by. My favourite was the supine rows with the push ups after it. Definitely getting stronger. Used 20kg for those one arm rows and they were ouch. Ranged from 7.5,10,12.5&15kg for everything else. Add on a favourite of mine so well worked at this stage💪💪
Probably my favorite workout to this point. I've had to go down in weight due to adrenal fatigue. Yes, it's a real thing. I have found that slowing down the reps even with a lighter weight still makes you feel like you're getting in a good workout.

Really enjoyed todays Chest and Back session. I'm really starting to notice the increase in strength and today I went for 25kg & 13kg DBs. Those weights seem to be suiting me well during Iron. It would be very easy for me to sit on the same weight and go through the motions but since starting with Caroline the one thing I like is the encouragement to increase your weights without compromising form or making it unsafe. I do feel though that I am coming to that threshold certainly on Chest unless I have assistance getting the DBs into the starting position. Today was a solid session especially the finisher were I stuck with the 25s. A Challenge keeping that glass balanced but I think I managed it. Have a lovely day everyone.
Afternoon Anthony....I thought you would really enjoy this one...and as I’ve said your weights are so impressive. I haven’t got beyond 12.5 kg for my chest presses! Don’t you think that one of the brilliant things about Caroline’s workouts is that we can all do the same workouts but by tailoring them to what we enjoy we can achieve our different fitness aims! Really loving IRON as you say we can focus on our on goals but still be motivated and inspired by others. For me, lifting heavier its not just that I want to build muscle as to be honest I think at my age to much can look a bit strange but its the challenge of lifting now what I used to stuggle with 20 years ago. I love Iron series. I was cleared for workouts (with some precautions) after recovering from surgery but still need to go slow on abdominal and lower body. These upper body isolation workouts have helped me a lot.

Chest and back together definitely are my favourite types of workouts and what a brilliant, creative one this is ! I hope to see more of this type of antagonist training - loved it! Good inclusion of some solid traditional chest and back exercises, and I liked the body weight exercises (push ups) in there and that finisher - clever combination of renegade rows and more push ups! I think I'll be feeling this one tomorrow! Chest and back just feels like a complete upper body workout to me and I think that I'll appreciate the "break" until shoulders for Sunday. Great body part splits in this program, thank you Caroline!

It is so amazing what our bodies can do when we breathe and focus 100%🥰 I even feel how my performance fails when completely different thoughts come to my mind, then I immediately become aware and focus on an exercise and muscles that are working and my mindset is back. Loved today's workout!!!💖 I tried to challenge myself today and started with with 44kg on my barbel for the chest press, wherever Caroline was using one dumbell I was using a 16.5 dumbell and for the finisher I also used two 10kg!!! The push ups were so challenging, but managed 16 on the first and 15 on the 2nd set on my pushup bars(with a descent form)😊 Tottally burnt, but I'm feeling amazing and the pump is awesome!!! Thanks Caroline for these amazing workouts!!! You rock!!!👊 Happy Tuesday to everyone!!!

I dont hide the fact that row based workouts are not my fave. I just find it monotonous staring at the floor 🤣 but lots of variety mixed it up well. Really happy with my reps on push ups to say the muscles were already fatigued. I used to prefer lower body workouts miles more than upper but that gap is closely closing to be pretty equal. I was pleased with my push ups too...I did 12 reps in each minute...but I felt my firm was very good...coming right to the floor in a perfect straight line! This was definitely no frills and straight to the..... back and chest! The supine row to push up was the tough part. Used 18kg and 10kg each. Love a good back and chest work out!!! Honestly the Iron Series has won my heart - the longer working period makes for slower more concentrated moves which I love!!
Used 20.5kg and 10kg each. The finisher got me today and I couldnt physically get off the floor for a push up!! LOL. Such a great work out for back and chest!!
Quite a tough workout from a few perspectives - my grip let me down a bit today, I tried to work with my 12.5kg weights on the compound movements (definitely lost some strength when I contracted a stomach bug earlier this week and its taking my body a little while to come back) and the intervals felt quite short today in terms of rest😅 I enjoyed the challeneg and had fun with this and the abs add on. Chest, flyes, and pullovers top my list of favourite upper body exercises. Double rows are not but unilateral rows definitely are too! I was very happy with my pushups today. I even did another set after the workout because I had more in me. I did the chest press unilaterally too which enabled me to go up 5 pounds. One day I will get the knack of positioning two of those heavier DBs so I can do them at the same time. For now, unilaterally is perfect. Great workout! Loved it.

I loved it and I am soooo happy I've managed to use 2x10kg for the finisher and the supine double rows (I did struggle a bit to keep my form); now I have to up my weights for the chest presses as well ...I still cannot press more than 12 kg each. End of August 2024 and I am still doing IRON. It is indeed my routine since she launched it. I don't know how many rounds I had done, but I know for sure that I am making progress, I can lift heavier than when I started, in some workouts, I can lift the same weights as Caroline does. I can't thank Caroline enough for this programme ❤

Just want to say that I’m very appreciative that Caroline shows she takes breathers mid-set. I know she’s using heavier weights than probably a lot of us are (so far 😉). Regardless, showing the fatigue helps demonstrate to viewers it’s normal and part of the journey to building strength. What matters is that you persist and finish the set once you’re able to. It’s very refreshing to see. Thank you.

I always skip the cool down part of workouts except for Caroline's. Completing her workouts, all the way to her cool downs, provide me with feelings of achievement. I work out very early in the morning before work and when Caroline gives us her bright smile, clap, thumbs up, and a wave, I know I could tackle the day!
Y'all I'm here to tell you, growing old ain't for sissies (as my father used to say!). To all you 'flat bellies' out there, one day you'll notice that it's super hard to build muscle and when you try to do a proper squat EVERYTHING hurts. When that happens to you, and it will, pick yourself up and do this IRON series. I've done most of CG's programs, with lots of modifications, and they're all fabulous but this one is magic! If she doesn't continue this series I'll be doing this one on repeat. Thanks Caroline for giving me strength and confidence again xo.

I recently discovered Caroline's TH-cam channel and so glad I did. I'm in my 70's and have competed in multi-sport events now for over 30+ years. I loved using a chair with my rows! It really helped with my back. I was able to lift that wee bit heavier and keep it slow and steady. Definitely using it for my rows going forward. Got a good sweat on today for sure🥵. Enjoy today's workout everyone, have a lovely day!❤

Here in September 2024 and so far have lost 20 lbs with this series. I cleaned up my diet alot! I’m doing a 30 day no sugar diet on top of it. N I feel great!’ Day 22 ready! 🥳

Hi, Matthew. It was looking like a tough upper body and it trully was! I went in to a zone and lift with the best possible mind and muscle connection. A workout to remember. Push ups to supine rows were super hard, my chest was shaking, my back muscles were tired already. Not to mention the finisher... I think I squeezed all the energy from the chest and back muscles. Finished with 15 plank routine, I haven't done it in a while but it was a superb add-on.
So excited for glutes and hamstrings tomorrow, I feel like tomorrow session will be a highlight for me alongside the yesterday's one!
You're so right Matthew, Caroline's strength is phenomenal. To be able to fly with 10kg is very impressive 👍 not to mention the rest of the exercises with the impressive weights. Total respect for her strength. This is going to be a solid upper body workout to test our strength 😁✅. Enjoy 👋

Hi Matthew hope you had fun with this. It was sooo intense. Time just flew by. My favourite was the supine rows with the push ups after it. Definitely getting stronger. Used 20kg for those one arm rows and they were ouch. Ranged from 7.5,10,12.5&15kg for everything else. Add on a favourite of mine so well worked at this stage💪💪

Probably my favorite workout to this point. I've had to go down in weight due to adrenal fatigue. Yes, it's a real thing. I have found that slowing down the reps even with a lighter weight still makes you feel like you're getting in a good workout.

Really enjoyed todays Chest and Back session. I'm really starting to notice the increase in strength and today I went for 25kg & 13kg DBs. Those weights seem to be suiting me well during Iron. It would be very easy for me to sit on the same weight and go through the motions but since starting with Caroline the one thing I like is the encouragement to increase your weights without compromising form or making it unsafe. I do feel though that I am coming to that threshold certainly on Chest unless I have assistance getting the DBs into the starting position. Today was a solid session especially the finisher were I stuck with the 25s. A Challenge keeping that glass balanced but I think I managed it. Have a lovely day everyone.
Afternoon Anthony....I thought you would really enjoy this one...and as I’ve said your weights are so impressive. I haven’t got beyond 12.5 kg for my chest presses! Don’t you think that one of the brilliant things about Caroline’s workouts is that we can all do the same workouts but by tailoring them to what we enjoy we can achieve our different fitness aims! Really loving IRON as you say we can focus on our on goals but still be motivated and inspired by others. For me, lifting heavier its not just that I want to build muscle as to be honest I think at my age to much can look a bit strange but its the challenge of lifting now what I used to stuggle with 20 years ago. If someone finds that interesting in my comments thats a bonus and I am always happy to encourage others.

My legs are ready for a rest as I went SO hard today. IRON series is so inspirational and motivational for me to ramp it up. I'm ready to attack chest and back tomorrow morning! And of course my favourite workout of all time, weighted abs as the add on.

Day 22 Done ✔️. Solid Upperbody Sesh! Chest and Arms were shaking. Loved that Rows were Unilateral I could go heavy, used 15kg. Feels Amazing after! Also did 10min. Weighted Abs add-on. Could see my core getting stronger.

I love Iron series. I was cleared for workouts (with some precautions) after recovering from surgery but still need to go slow on abdominal and lower body. These upper body isolation workouts have helped me a lot.

Chest and back together definitely are my favourite types of workouts and what a brilliant, creative one this is ! I hope to see more of this type of antagonist training - loved it! Good inclusion of some solid traditional chest and back exercises, and I liked the body weight exercises (push ups) in there and that finisher - clever combination of renegade rows and more push ups! I think I'll be feeling this one tomorrow! Chest and back just feels like a complete upper body workout to me and I think that I'll appreciate the "break" until shoulders for Sunday. Great body part splits in this program, thank you Caroline!

It is so amazing what our bodies can do when we breathe and focus 100%🥰 I even feel how my performance fails when completely different thoughts come to my mind, then I immediately become aware and focus on an exercise and muscles that are working and my mindset is back. Loved today's workout!!!💖 I tried to challenge myself today and started with with 44kg on my barbel for the chest press, wherever Caroline was using one dumbell I was using a 16.5 dumbell and for the finisher I also used two 10kg!!! The push ups were so challenging, but managed 16 on the first and 15 on the 2nd set on my pushup bars(with a descent form)😊 Tottally burnt, but I'm feeling amazing and the pump is awesome!!! Thanks Caroline for these amazing workouts!!! You rock!!!👊 Happy Tuesday to everyone!!!

loved this workout. Especially liked the regular pushups. Haven't done many of those in awhile and it was a confidence builder to see how many more of those I can do now that we are on day 22.

My upper arms are still sore from Sunday’s workout, and I’m sure I will wake up on Tuesday with other beautiful burns on the quads from the step ups 🔥 Love that Caroline switched up the bent over rows slightly by using a chair! I dont hide the fact that row based workouts are not my fave. I just find it monotonous staring at the floor 🤣 but lots of variety mixed it up well. Really happy with my reps on push ups to say the muscles were already fatigued. I used to prefer lower body workouts miles more than upper but that gap is closely closing to be pretty equal. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Morning Nicola...as you know I am with you on rows...but that probably just means I should do them more! I was pleased with my push ups too...I did 12 reps in each minute...but I felt my firm was very good...coming right to the floor in a perfect straight line! I’m just like you...I still prefer working lower body...but the gap, as you say, is closing! Have a lovely day! Matthew

This was definitely no frills and straight to the..... back and chest! The supine row to push up was the tough part. Used 18kg and 10kg each. Love a good back and chest work out!!! Honestly the Iron Series has won my heart - the longer working period makes for slower more concentrated moves which I love!!
Used 20.5kg and 10kg each. The finisher got me today and I couldnt physically get off the floor for a push up!! LOL. Such a great work out for back and chest!!
Quite a tough workout from a few perspectives - my grip let me down a bit today, I tried to work with my 12.5kg weights on the compound movements (definitely lost some strength when I contracted a stomach bug earlier this week and its taking my body a little while to come back) and the intervals felt quite short today in terms of rest😅
I enjoyed the challeneg and had fun with this and the abs add on.

Oh wow….that finisher!!!!!! Loved the mix of exercises and how you should use the rows with a chair. Made it for more stability for me! Loved the weighted ab add on but my ,eggs felt pretty heavy after yesterday 😂. Thanks Caroline🌹❣️

I take my hat off to Caroline to be able to chest press 20KG. I felt very challenged with 16KG in each hand. I felt much better using the chair for the rows today. Thank you Caroline!

I tried this lesson with her but I couldn't even move her dumbbell from the ground even😟 She did the full lesson with 10 kg and 20 kg dumbbells. I feel very low and unconfident and don't know what to do 😔

Chest, flyes, and pullovers top my list of favourite upper body exercises. Double rows are not but unilateral rows definitely are too! I was very happy with my pushups today. I even did another set after the workout because I had more in me. I did the chest press unilaterally too which enabled me to go up 5 pounds. One day I will get the knack of positioning two of those heavier DBs so I can do them at the same time. For now, unilaterally is perfect. Great workout! Loved it.

I loved it and I am soooo happy I've managed to use 2x10kg for the finisher and the supine double rows (I did struggle a bit to keep my form); now I have to up my weights for the chest presses as well ...I still cannot press more than 12 kg each. Such a great session today! I loved the sequence of the exercises, ending with supine row and push-ups. 👌🏻And I never thought I would like renegade rows, but now I do! Felt so good! Thank you Caroline! 🧡 It was also interesting to see how easily she pulls up those 20kgs for the chest press. ❤️🔥

Enjoyed this so much!!! Chest day always makes me feel super strong! I managed 15kgs and 10kgs today! Time flew by! Renegade rows are one of my favourite moves too so loved it being the finisher! Thank you Caroline 😊
